In honour of Katy Perry and Russell Brand's spectacular (sounding - we're still waiting for some grainy pap shots) wedding at the weekend, we thought we'd take a look back at some other celebrity nuptials! Although some of them may be dead in the water now (Cheryl Cole... Renee Zellweger... Britney Spears) they were some damn good weddings.

Victoria Beckham is reportedly adding 'matchmaker' to her long CV - the designer is apprently trying to find Kelly Brook a boyfriend!
A source said, "Victoria knows how lucky she and David are. She'd hate to date, especially in Los Angeles, so she's offering some sisterly support to Kelly."
"They've met a few times but really bonded during a string of fashion shows. They share a very cheeky sense of humour and get on really well."
It added, "Victoria saw Kelly and felt really bad for her being thrust back into the dating game. She's apparently got David checking out all his mates and has some crackers lined up for Kelly. It's tough in Hollywood and a girl needs a mate."
We wouldn't have thought Kelly needed help - look at her!

Harry Potter author JK Rowling has topped a list complied by the National Magazine Company of the Most Influential Women in the UK.
JK, real name Joanne, (who recently donated £10 million to set up a new multiple sclerosis research clinic in Edinburgh), was chosen for her writing skills, tenacity to succeed and philanthropic nature.
Victoria Beckham came in second place just before Queen Elizabeth II at only third (well she is the Queen).
Others featured in the list included Cheryl Cole (5th), the Prime Minister's wife Samantha Cameron (6th) and Kate Moss (8th).

David Beckham has revealed that 'stimulate the romance' in his relationship with Victoria has been the reason they're still happy after 14 years.
He said, "We've been married 11 years and we have known each other for 14. You have to stimulate the romance in the relationship and care for each other's needs."
Victoria has said the same, revealing, "If the kids are in bed we dress up and go to a restaurant. We eat a little bit, get drunk and enjoy each other's company. I always look forward to date night.
"We are so busy, David with football and I have my clothing line and raising our boys. That's why it's important to make time to be together and whatever happens Wednesday is sacred."

Today's Victoria and David Beckham news isn't anyway near as thrilling as yesterday's Naked David Story, but oh well.
Victoria has denied the rumours that she and David want to move back to the UK, saying, "we're so happy in America I actually can't see us ever leaving."
She explained: "In England, David and I are big fish in a small pond. But in LA we are tiny, tiny, tiny fish in a big pond."
"I mean, let's be honest about it. When you've got Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes living down the street as your neighbours, who gives a s**t about Victoria and David?"

Victoria Beckham has been talking about being married to one of the sexiest men in the world (proven), and why she doesn't notice his high pitched voice.
I think it's best if we don't interupt her story so we'll just leave the whole quote as it is below.
Victoria told Marie Claire, "I don't really notice that he's got a high-pitched voice. I just think he's so goddamn perfect that people have to find something wrong with him. We were about to go out somewhere the other day, and he was sending an email. He was sitting at the end of the bed, and he had no clothes on whatsoever. I was getting out of the shower, and I just stood there looking at him. He was all tan. Has all those tattoos - which I love. Hadn't done his hair. He just naturally looks good all the time. He never looks like shit in the morning. Never. So he's sitting there sending his e-mails, all ripped. Not an ounce of fat on him. And I thought, You done good, girl. I sure wasn't thinking of his high-pitched voice."
Sigh!

Glamour magazine has compiled a list of the 50 Best Dressed Brits for their November issue, and maybe surprisingly Emma Watson took the top spot, bypassing Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss.
Emma Watson took the top spot because "though [she] commits a fair few faux pas in the style department, she is the golden girl in the front row at LFW and has re-ignited our love of the classic trench."
Victoria Beckham took the second place slot, followed by Keira Knightley at 3rd (no we're not sure either), Cheryl Cole in 4th, Sienna Miller in 5th place and Kate Moss in 6th place.
Bringing up the end of the top ten was Lily Allen, Pixie Lott, Naomi Campbell and Florence Welch.
The magazine also did a men's list, which Robert Pattinson topped. Really Glamour?

There was once a time where a glance of Jessica Simpson meant a sighting of her hairstylist and BFF Ken Paves too... but alas no more - he's moved on to Victoria Beckham!
The formerly inseparable Ken and Jessica have reportedly fallen out because she was jealous of his other client and friend Eva Longoria.
Ken was recently seen hanging out with Victoria at an LA Galaxy game where she was watching her husband David.
Poor Jessica. Poor Victoria too if she lets him near her hair.

David Beckham is the latest in a frankly never-ending line of footballers to be accused of paying a prostitute for sex.
The footballer has revealed he will sue after U.S. magazine In Touch after it printed a story from prostitute Irma Nici, in which she claimed she'd slept with him five times in August and September 2007.
David insists that he has never met the woman and that the claims are "totally untrue and ridiculous".
A spokesman for the star said: "The allegations that have been made are completely untrue and totally ridiculous, as the magazine was clearly told before publication."
"Sadly we live in a world where a magazine can print lies and believe they can get away with it."
