Steal soap stars' style with bodycon dresses
Bodycon dresses put the fear of god into the average-bodied lady. But after spotting Eastenders actress Jacqueline Jossa in a figure-hugging navy number, it's clear that bodycon dresses aren't going anywhere for a while yet.
But here's the thing that designers don't tell you (and they really should): the dresses can actually be really flattering. If you've got curves and some decent underwear, they'll only accentuate what you've got. Frankly, the cast of Hollyoaks and Coronation Street couldn't go to a party without a Bodycon dress or seven amongst them.
OK, we'll admit that some bodycon dresses will only work if you've got a fabulous body. This is one of them. If you're a 'got it flaunt it' kind of girl, this is from Missguided and it's £25.99.
If you think bodycon is all too revealing and all tits and legs, how about this dress? It's still figure-hugging, but it's not overly revealing. It's sexy, without showing too much. Oh, and it's just £18 from always bargainous boohoo.com.
See those lines on this bodycon dress from Rare? They're all about making you look slimmer. They might be simple (and cheap at just £36), but they're very effective at making you lose inches off your waist. But please, stay away from those ugly shoes.
