Well it's almost all over for another year - this weekend sees the final of The X-Factor when we'll know whether it's Cher Lloyd, Matt Cardle, One Direction or Rebecca Ferguson whose dreams will come true when they're crowned the winner(/s).
What better time for us to look back at all the memorable moments we as a nation shared during this eventful series - and by memorable moments we mean awful, horrendous outfits styled by the amazing Grace Woodward, Britain's Next Top Model judge extraordinaire.
So click on the image below to start a gallery filled with terrifying hair, plastic helmets, gold sequin trousers and fluorescent cycling shorts IF YOU DARE. (Please do).
Dannii Minogue has revealed that she and Cheryl Cole are very close - she says that Cheryl is always there for her when she needs her.
Dannii told Marie Claire, "Cheryl's always been there for me when I've had a hard time."
The designer also recounted how impressed Cheryl was with how she was managing to handle motherhood with everything else she has to do.
She said, "Cheryl said to me the other day, 'I don't know how you're doing all this. I know how crazy it is when all the contestants are running in and out and I have no make-up on. And then I think of you trying to fit in feeding the baby as well'."
Last night Nicole Scherzinger took to the X Factor stage to give a truly intoxicating performance of her latest single Poison. Nicole, dressed in an incredibly sexy sci-fi ensemble, put on quite a show complete with pyrotechnics and an army of dancers.
It was the first time that Nicole had performed Poison, and what a performance?! Her new album is finally due to be released, which has been in the pipeline for four years. Nicole's tipped our X Factor favourite and style crush Rebecca to win.
Nicole's racing driver boyfriend Lewis Hamilton watched her performance admiringly whilst we're pretty sure Cheryl Cole seethed with jealousy. Comparisons are obviously going to be made between the two pop starlets, from skimpy ensembles, to fast paced dance routines and Nicole filling in on the X factor for Cheryl when she fell ill with malaria. Nicole certainly has the dance skills and the vocals, and we loved her as a judge on the panel... could Nicole be the next Cheryl?
If we were kicked off a talent show on live television and had all our hopes and dreams crushed in one fell swoop, all while sporting a rather Hobbit-esque hairdo, we'd probably be able to come up with quite a few adjectives to describe the situation. Most would be far too explicit to list here, but we can assure you 'amazing' wouldn't be the first word to spring to mind.
However, we aren't Katie Waissel, and it would seem the X Factor reject has dealt with last night's eviction from the show with a lot more grace (or denial?) than we ever could. Speaking on Daybreak this morning with a rather large grin on her face, Katie has decided to look on the bright side of things, by repeatedly insisting just how 'amazing' everything is.
When asked about the judges, she said: "They were all amazing, just absolutely wonderful and even off camera they would take the time to come up and say hello and give us advice and I really want to say thank you to Simon, Cheryl, Louis and Danni for supporting me."
"I wouldn't change anything for the world, I was myself throughout the whole competition and that's important. It was all an amazing experience. I'm really excited and it's an amazing opportunity and an amazing show to be on."
Err... amazing. And as for who she wants to win? Rebecca Ferguson or Mary Byrne. Does that strike out your amazing friend amazing Cher Lloyd then, Katie? Miaow.
She might not be the most popular judge on the X Factor right now but Cheryl Cole is getting back to what she does best - making music.
After the massive number one smash, Promise This, Cheryl has released the video for her second single from Messy Little Raindrops, The Flood.
As you expect there is loads of water references with the 27 year old looking pensive in a beach hut. She also shows off a gorgeous green dress and is bang on trend in a black knitted jumper dress.
After sensationally ending up in the bottom two on the X Factor last week, Cher Lloyd bounced back.
The 17-year-old was looking happy and content as she attended the Very.co.uk Christmas fashion show with her fellow X Factor contestants. The Malvern teenager showed off her quirky dress sense in a tutu as she posed on the red carpet.
The young wannabe teamed a knee-length black tutu with a v-neck top, black tights and red Doc Martins boots.Cher kept her distance from One Direction's Harry Styles, 16, after the pair were romantically linked following photos of them looking cosy over the weekend.
Cher has been linked to various members of One Direction, including Liam, Harry and Zain. But she took to her Twitter yesterday to insist she was very much single after splitting from ex-boyfriend Alex Wallis in September.
She wrote: "Just to clear things, I'm not dating anyone. "I'm very well, and can't freakin wait for this weekend! People gon' talk whether ya' doin' bad or good, I'm goin innnnn."
We won't be too critical of the fact that Dannii Minogue launched her perfume yesterday, as technically it's from her Project D fashion line.
The X-Factor judge appeared at The Perfume Shop with her partner Tabitha Somerset Webb to promote the fragrance and three additional handbag sized sprays - just in time for Christmas!
Tabitha said of the perfumes, "While our signature scent captures the spirit and essence of the Project D woman, our purse sprays reflect our vision for fashion and style that takes you from day to night, from revitalising, energising scents of the dawn, right through to the rich and sultry notes of dusk."
Louis Walsh has proved just how clueless and behind he is by declaring that he thinks Cheryl Cole maybe be the biggest character on The X-Factor judging panel.
No, duh!
"I used to think it was Dannii [Minogue]," he said. "But now it may be Cheryl!
Louis added, "She didn't like it when I said the show wasn't all about her! But I was speaking my mind at the time."
He continued: "I do like Cheryl, though - The X Factor needs her. When the cameras are turned off, she's still a real sweetie. It's not all an act with her."
People are loving Cher Lloyd's cool urban style - and anyone who has seen photos of the X-Factor contestant out and about can't have missed her love of all things Paul's Boutique.
