The Sex and the City 2 premiere took place last night in New York's Radio City Music Hall, and a host of stars took to the red carpet before going to watch it (lucky things).
Sex and the City girls Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Stewart all put their best fashion feet forward - but it's a shame the same can't be said for some of their guests. Kim Cattrall said that she lost a magazine cover because she refused to pose with an actual cougar.
The actress said that she finds the term 'cougar' offensive and didn't want to condone it.
Kim said, "I really take umbrage to the code 'cougar.' I think cougar has a negative connotation, and I don't see anything negative about Samantha [her 'SATC' character] and her sexuality, sensuality and choice."
She added, "I was asked recently by a significant magazine for women over 40 to pose with a cougar, and I refused to do it because I felt it was insulting. They took away the cover because I refused to do so."
Good on Kim for sticking to her morals and not selling out for some publicity.

Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed that she is nervous about how the Sex and the City sequel will be received.
She said, "I'm excited. But this is also the period when I tend to be very nervous and I worry and I fret and overthink. I'm in a state of turmoil."
Sarah continued, "I fret about everything. I worry that it's not good enough. I worry that no one will show up...What if the audience isn't happy?"
Asked whether she thinks there will be a third movie, Sarah exclaimed, "Oh, dear god. I don't feel entitled to have that conversation yet. Let's see if anybody shows up on May 27."

And so, the Sex and the City merchandise continues - a fashion book entitled Sex And The City 2: The Stories. The Fashion. The Adventure is being released.
The book will detail all things fashion and SATC, and exerpts from it have already started to leak out.
Sarah Jessica Parker talks about the early days on the show, revealing that when it came to borrowing Vivienne Westwood wedding gowns, things were a lot different.
She said, "We couldn't get anybody to loan us a sock for 24 hours back then".
SJP also praised the shows stylist Patricia Field, saying, "She was so industrious and smart and creative. She would see the way New York really was at the time but use vintage as a big part of Carries' wardrobe...Part of it was just a necessity, but it was also a design choice."

Maybe to avoid jealous, who-got-the-middle-spot-in-the-cover-shot rumours, all four Sex and the City stars, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall, each have their own cover of Marie Claire.
Even so, Sarah Jessica Parker has been singled out by wearing the gold Balmain dress that Demi Moore wore on cover of the controversial Photoshop-gate W magazine.
Cynthia Nixon and Kristen Davis both wear Dior, and Kim wears Valentino.
