Robert Pattinson has been filming his new movie Water For Elephants, also starring Reese Witherspoon, and has revealed some of the problems he's encountered while there.
For example, he was bitten by a lion.
He said, "Almost every day I'm working with an exotic animal... It's insane, like I got bitten on the arm by a lion with no teeth.
"They were like, 'It's fine, he does it all the time'. And I was like, 'Erm, OK...' But they had to get him to do it harder, because he was being so gentle and just licking my arm."
Rob also revealed that his obsessed fans came to their rescue a little while ago when the paparazzi got in the way of filming.
He recounted, "Out of the blue, fans, that were waiting for autographs, had enough and circled around the paparazzi. Teens made big guys run away. It was unreal! I was pleased."

Robert Pattinson has spoken about his excitment that Kristen Stewart will also be playing a vampire in Breaking Dawn, saying he can't wait for her to see how hard it is.
Robert said, "I've been complaining throughout the entire series about having to wear contacts, and all this make-up and how difficult everything is. And she's always saying, 'Oh come on. It's not that hard'."
He added: "I know she's going to be complaining so much about it, and I'm very much looking forward to not showing her any sympathy."

Robert Pattinson always seems to be talking about how he teases Twilight co star Taylor Lautner - today it's how he annoyed him while filming the 'tent scene'.
Robert explained: "I liked the tent scene because
I have to grab Taylor's chest and his nipples get hard really easily. We had to reshoot the scene basically for that reason!"
The Twilight heart throb also revealed that he feels out-manned by Taylor.
Robert said, "It seems like I'm always picking on Taylor, but the funniest moment was when he was in
this little grey Spandex suit he sometimes had to wear for the CGI. Taylor quite frequently
out-mans me, so seeing him in that little Spandex outfit
made me feel much better
about myself."

Robert Pattinson has confessed that he loves the hectic schedule he has when he's filming for the Twilight films.
The actor said his busy work life made a nice change from all the years when he only had one or two jobs a year.
Robert said, "I just want to work as much as I am now. I like working all the time because I spent so many years before Twilight just doing stuff for two or three months of the year. The rest of the time I'd do nothing, or I'd just have tiny little jobs."
As much as he welcomes the steady work, Rob says he won't be sorry when the fame dies down after the films finish.
He said, "I find periods to escape from it and places to get away to as much as possible. I try and tell myself that it's just a job and that all this craziness won't last forever."

Robert Pattinson has revealed that he can't really cook, and the only thing he can make is toast.
The Twilight actor claims that room service has only made him worse, and that hotels have made him lazy in general.
Robert said, "In London recently, my hotel had really good room service and I just ate the same thing every day - chicken tikka! I crave a home-cooked meal sometimes, but I only know how to make a piece of toast."
He added, "Hotels have made me more lazy, you can throw the towel on the floor and someone picks it up, and there's a mini bar."

Genealogists have claimed that vampire actor Robert Pattinson is related to the most famous vampire ever, Dracula.
'But he wasn't real', I hear you exclaim - well no, but Vlad III the Imapler was, and he the inspiration for the character, and that's who they mean.
Ancestry.com genealogist Anastasia Tyler said, "Tracing Pattinson's family back to Vlad was difficult research, but the pieces that unraveled created the perfect accompaniment to the Twilight Saga."
Rob is also apparently distantly related to the English royal family.

Robert Pattinson says that he has grown tired of the fame that the Twilight franchise has brought him.
You can't blame him really. He told press that he's looking forward to being done with his role as Edward Cullen when "Breaking Dawn" is done filming.
The actor said, "It can get a little boring. The good news is that the whole thing is done in seven months. I've learned to let it go a bit, but I'm still really bothered by it. The more you are exposed, the more people irrationally hate you."
He added, "I think we reached a point, a peak, with New Moon where the stories became so saturated into the culture that it started to feel normal. It's like the tabloids don't know what to write anymore because they've used up all their scandals."

Robert Pattinson has admitted that he misses writing music and playing his guitar since he started Twilight, since his schedule leaves no time for it.
He said, "I was doing music before I started acting, so I still have bits and pieces, and I've been playing in Portland [while filming]".
Robert added, "I've been trying to write an album for years and years."

Robert Pattinson has revealed that a scene in the coming Eclipse movie (released July 8th - not long now!) was re-shot because it wasn't 'erotic' enough!
Robert told MTV that the 'tent scene' where Edward, Bella and Jacob are hiding from the bad-vampire army was redone to make it better.
He said, "I saw an earlier cut, and I liked what happened in the tent scene when I saw it but we reshot it, so I'm not sure what the new one is like. So maybe on the DVD you'll have the old tent scene."
When asked what had been changed, Rob replied: "Just the staging was different. I think they tried to make it more erotic."
