Well okay it's a lot less dramatic then that. Robert Pattinson was 'almost crushed' by an elephant while filming Water For Elephants.
According to a movie insider, "The script called for the elephant to step forward while swinging her trunk from side to side, but Rosie got her signals mixed up. Instead, she sat down on her big butt, lifted her front legs - then rolled over."
The insider reported, "Before anyone could react, Robert slid right down the elephant's back. It could have been a disaster if she'd rolled over on him - but he got lucky, landing face first in a pile of dirt and mud. He was filthy, but unharmed."

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are probably cursing the name 'Randy' right now after a photographer by that name managed to do what photographers have been trying to do for years - snap a picture of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart kissing!
The couple and friend Tom Sturridge, who is Kristen's On the Road co-star were on their way to a party in Montreal when they were caught in a make out session.
Randy said about his catch, "They left their hotel around 8:15, and they hopped in a van taxi and they kind of just got out ... and during that 25 seconds, they were just making out and Tom Sturridge was standing there just looking."

Ashley Greene was one of the Twilight cast attendees of the Teen Choice Awards in LA yesterday, where her and her vampire castmates took home an amazing 11 awards.
The latest movie, Twilight Eclipse, took Choice Fantasy Movie, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, not surprisingly won the Choice Liplock and Choice Chemistry trophies, and Taylor Lautner, took home Choice Actor, Fantasy.
Ashley won the Best Scene Stealer award, but sadly she didn't steal the scene on the red carpet: although she did look nice, if a little boring.
The actress wore a pale pink and gold embroidered print minidress with black flowery detailing at the bust, paired with black peep toe pumps and a black box clutch.

According to 'sources' Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart want to 'quit Hollywood' so that they can spend more time on their relationship.
Okay.
The pair apparently want to lead a quieter life - which Kristen thinks they can do by going into theatre.
The 'source' said, "They are considering changing their lives so they can concentrate on their relationship and get away from stardom. Kristen's suggested they try theatre work and indie films."
They added, "Despite starring in big-budget productions, they've managed to retain credibility, so theatre is the perfect option. They are both incredibly talented actors and very well thought of in the industry."

Robert Pattinson has shockingly revealed that he likes to watch movies (we're sorry, but it's a slow news day).
The Twilight actor said, "I love watching movies, although I hardly have any time to do it. But I watch them to be inspired to do other stuff I want to do."
Robert added, "I listen to music to be inspired to write music, so everything
I do is to create something. I don't really need to do other stuff to unwind or get away. I love what I'm doing and they all feed each other."
He also revealed that he went for an awkward massage to try and relax.
Rob recounted: "I did try to get a massage in Japan to relax and
I was sitting there for an hour and half. I got 15 times more stressed out just waiting for that long and I thought, 'I'm not doing this again'."

Robert Pattinson has been talking about the next Twilight film, Breaking Dawn and has revealed the scene he is most looking forward to doing... Edward and Bella's first sex scene, where Edward savages a pillow.
He said, "I'm looking forward to the pillow-biting scene."
Robert explained, "I thought that was so funny, of all the random things too do, really? He bites the pillow."
And it sounds like Kristen is looking forward to that scene too... she previously said, "It does actually literally get more physical [in Breaking Dawn]."
She added, "It doesn't get more action-packed... [But] they definitely get more physical - well, they get married... We totally have sex - finally!"

You may have heard that in Kristen Stewart's latest film, Welcome to the Rileys she plays a stripper - and apprently Robert Pattinson has been reaping the rewards of the role.
A 'source' revealed that Kristen has been using her newfound dancing skills to entertain her Twilight boyfriend.
They said, "Kristen isn't just good, she's great with the sexy moves. She admits to friends she feels super sexy when she gyrates to the music and struts around."
And what does Rob think?
"Rob already thought Kris was the sexiest woman in the world, but the first time she offered him a lap dance, he couldn't believe his luck."
What an informed source!

Robert Pattinson has found a way to have a nice, healthy meal every night.
He's getting them delivered!
The Twilight actor said, "In Los Angeles I started using a delivery service which only delivers fresh and healthy food."
"Even in the morning I have a bag with healthy food delivered to me. I've never in my life lived as healthy as I do now."
He added: "Of course I miss homemade food, but I'm on my own or on the go most of the time. And I can't cook myself. I only just manage to make some toast. I don't seem to have the genetic endowments for it. I'm incapable [of telling] what tastes good and what doesn't."

Robert Pattinson has been discussing how - er, direct - Kristen Stewart can be.
The Twilight actor said, "Kristen is always really good but also clearly speaks her mind. That can be a bit uncomfortable. After we shoot a scene she sometimes looks at the director and says, 'Let's do that again'."
But, Rob said, he would never dare to turn the tables on her, joking that his (rumoured) girlfriend would be outraged.
He said, "If I did that she would probably kill me! She would probably say something like, 'Shut up! The scene was perfect!'"

Robert Pattinson has been gushing about how amazing his Twilight co-star (and girlfriend) Kristen Stewart is.
He said, "Kristen and I have lived a great adventure together with the 'Twilight' films. We are very close and no one can understand what we've gone through together the last few years."
Robert decided to explain further: "When we're together, we understand each other so well that we don't have to say a lot to explain what we're thinking. Kristen is a wonderful girl."
