Rihanna and Matt Kemp split up

rihanna-matt-kemp.jpgAnd as it is still 2010, here's one last last break up for you: Rihanna and Matt Kemp have apparently called it a day.

A source close to the singer said, "It happened over the last few weeks. She basically was just over it."

But as always, a conflicting report claims something else: apparently Matt was the fed up one.

A source said, "He just can't keep up with her crazy travel schedule.Matt's sick of always following after her like a puppy dog all over the world. He wants something more normal."

Shame, they made a nice couple.

Rihanna heats up the X-Factor with winner Matt Cardle

Rihanna appeared on the X-Factor at the weekend, helping Matt Cardle rob One Direction and become the winner.

The singer dueted with Matt on her song Unfaithful and it was a wonder he could get any words out with her looking like that.

But anyway, congratulations Matt.

Rihanna was scared of blending in

rihanna_red_hair_new.jpgRihanna has been talking about why she changed her image and sound so much from when she first appeared on the music scene (remember Pon de Reply anyone?) - because she was worried she would blend in.

She said, "I had a ridiculous schedule. It was kind of unfair. But I kept going. I was focusing on getting people to respect me as an artist, making my stamp in the industry."

Rihanna explained, "I wasn't 100% or even 75% in control of my image or my sound. I said, 'If you guys keep this perfect image of me, people will never notice me'. I kind of blended in. It was safe, the blonde, curly hair. It was a formula. I didn't want to be like all the other artists. I wanted to stand out."

She added, "And the only way I could do that was by taking charge of my image and sound. And it worked. Good Girl Gone Bad was a big turning point for me."

Rihanna still on her Train of Offense

rihanna_red_hair_new.jpgRihanna is not happy with bloggers or other girls right now. The singer has been responding haterz who hate on her for 'looking overly sexy' (although we haven't heard anything like that).

She told GQ magazine, "People think I'm overly sexy. It bothers them for some reason. Girls don't like to see other girls dressed sexy, it's a little intimidating. I don't mean that in a cocky way."

"There's always going to be somebody not liking what you do. People have a lot of crazy opinions on things. Things I say, things I wear, places I go. It's just stupid. It's bulls**t. I'm a 22-year-old human being. It's fine for me to go to a club."

She added, "People are hypocrites. They can't wait to say something horrible. Most of them are unhappy with themselves. It's women who are mad at other women. They should take a look at their own lives. A lot of people don't have the guts to confront themselves. They don't have the balls."

Rihanna has a vulnerable side too you know

rihanna_westfield_christmas_lights.jpgRihanna has revealed that she isn't as hard as people think she is.

She explained to Kanye West for Interview magazine, "I think a lot of people have a misperception of me."

"They only see the tough, defensive, aggressive side. But every woman is vulnerable. They have vulnerability."

Rihanna added, "So of course I'm going to have that side. It's not a major part of who I am, but it's definitely there. I just don't like people to see me cry."

Rihanna has had enough of Chris Brown

rihanna_red_hair_new.jpgRihanna revealed to a fan yesterday that she was sick and tired of being asked about The Chris Brown Incident.

The fan tweeted at her telling the singer to stop talking about her ex-boyfriend, to which Rihanna replied.

She said, "AGREED! People won't stop askin abt it! Its f**kin annoying!"

"Nobody wants to relive that, but some ppl can't respect that! (sic)"

She added: "I get it, they wanna raise awareness to young girls! But it ends up just makin me look bitter, pitiful, spiteful and angry!"

Rihanna wanted an Avril Lavigne collaboration...

rihanna_westfield_christmas_lights.jpgRihanna has revealed that she wanted a collaboration with Avril Lavigne on her new album Loud... and she wasn't joking either.

Rihanna sampled the Skater Boi singer on song Cheers and had wanted to get Avril on the track properly - but it was too late.

She explained, "I asked whether she could appear, but when I heard the track it was already embedded in the music, so the producers already had it that way."

Rihanna added, "But it would have sounded the same. I'm just glad that we could use her sample, because it became such a huge part of the instrumental that if it were not in the song, it would change the whole vibe of it."

Rihanna talks about her 'sexiness' in an awkward manner

rihanna_red_hair_new.jpgThis Rihanna quote may have been taken out of context, but it is very awkward and odd.

She was apparently talking about how she feels she has gotten more comfortable with herself, saying as an example, "My sexiness now is more flirtatious, not so defensive and aggressive. It's more feminine."

Okay, what?

She then said: "I always over-challenge myself and beat myself up. 'I haven't done enough. I haven't done enough.' And then I think, 'What the hell - you're 22!'"

If Rihanna hasn't done enough, I need to seriously rethink my life.

Rihanna hates us :(

rihanna_red_hair_new.jpgRihanna has revealed that all blogs are run by people who hate themselves.

She said, "I still read the blogs sometimes, it depends on what it is I am trying to find out. I'm a lot more numb to it now only because I understand what it is."

Rihanna then went on to hurtfully explain; "It's a community for people who don't have anything else to do and hate themselves, they hate their life, they hate their job, they hate their appearance, they are uncomfortable with who they are, so what makes them feel good is talking smack about other people, who they think they will never ever see in their life and they happen to be celebrities."

Hey! We said we liked your new hair!

I'm sure they'll be much nicer about you from now on. Not.

Kimberley Walsh judges Rihanna for missing Katy Perry's wedding

pride_of_britain_kimberley_walsh_sarah_harding.jpgKimberley Walsh has put her two cents in about Rihanna's well publilisced decision to miss best friend Katy Perry's wedding due to her work commitments.

The Girls Aloud singer wrote in her column for OK! magazine, "Katy Perry says she's forgiven runaway bridesmaid Rihanna for not showing up to her wedding... I don't think I would!"

Kimberley continued, "I'm not an unreasonable person and if there was a really good reason then you might understand, but it's such an important day and if your bridesmaid didn't show it would be horrible. She said she had work commitments but for me, friends come first and if I was a bridesmaid for one of my friends there wouldn't be any work that would come in the way."

At least Kim won't have to worry about angering two of the most powerful women in music right now - they probably don't know who she is.
