Taylor Swift does Little Black Dress chic

taylor_swift_covergirl_lbd.jpgTaylor Swift (like Drew Barrymore) attended the Covergirl's 50th Anniversary party, where she no doubt celebrated her win for Favourite Country Artist at the People's Choice Awards earlier in the evening.

For her turn on the red carpet, Taylor turned to a classic LBD by Mark & James for Badgley Mischka: a black strapless dress with a sheer overlay featuring sequins aplently, because let's face it, she's Taylor Swift.

She looked alright... but in no way showstopping. We love her hair up though, she should wear it like that more often.

What do you think?

Ashley Tisdale, er... glows at the People's Choice Awards

ashley_tisdale_peoples_choice.jpgAshley Tisdale was one of the attendees at the People's Choice Awards in LA last night looking really healthy and happy and glowing and... oh, what the hell, she looked like a tangerine.

Ashley, why so much fake tan?! You live in LA! Unnecessary.

She complemented her burnished skin with a Farah Angsana Spring 2011 green and peach strapless gown.

The High School Musical actress was there to hopefully collect an award for her new show Hellcats, which was nominated for Favorite New TV Drama (but lost out to Hawaii Five-0).

On the plus side, at least she didn't have to go on stage and blind everyone.

Yay or Nay: Cher in Julian Macdonald at the Burlesque premiere

cher_burlesque.jpgOkay this may surprise some of you, but I have mixed feelings the outfit Cher wore to the premiere of Burlesque in London last night.

My first reaction was OH GOD MY EYES, but after the initial shock that Cher was wearing the same skimpy lingerie dress that Cheryl Cole did that one time wore off, I started to quite like how it fits around the torso area.

The rest of it I hate still. And the hair. Oh, the hair.

BUT luckily I don't have to make a decision for myself because I have you guys! So tell us in the poll below...

Leighton Meester suits up for the Gotham Independent Film Awards

leighton_meester_suit_.jpgLeighton Meester is known for her... experimental dress sense, and sometimes appears on red carpets looking like she lost a bet with the owner of a fancy dress shop.

Last night though she attended IFP's 20th Anniversary Gotham Independent Film Awards in a suit, and looked pretty awesome!

Leighton wore a charcoal grey Thom Browne suit with Salvatore Ferragamo heels and complemented it with simple loose hair and dark eye make up.

We think she looks gorgeous. What about you?

Taylor Swift at the American Music Awards

taylor_swift_american_music_awards.jpgTaylor Swift picked up the Favourite Female Country Artist award at the American Music Awards last night!

The singer also debuted a whole new look - we are loving her hair! Taylor had a change from her usual corkscrew curls for a poker straight style with a blunt fringe.

However the hair was enough of a change for Taylor, who stuck to her usual style for the dress, wearing a Collette Dinnigan sparkly embellished mini dress.

Miley Cyrus at the American Music Awards

miley_cyrus_american_music_awards.jpgMiley Cyrus attended the American Music Awards last night looking nice!

We know, we're as shocked as you are.

The singer wore a Marchesa Spring 2011 chiffon strapless mini dress, which was printed with a floral illustration and had a big bow detail on the back which flowed into a train.

Also her hair is all sleek and shiny!

Huge improvement on normal, well done.

Miley also performed at the award show - check out her rendition of Forgiveness and Love below.

Anne Hathaway in Valentino at New York Love and Other Drugs Premiere

anne_hathaway_white_valentino_dress_premiereAnne Hathaway dazzled as usual at the premiere of Love and Other Drugs in New York in a stunning Valentino Fall 2010 dress.

We're loving the sophisticated tiers, fur-trimmed hem and the sheer bow she's tied at the neck, with her hair falling other the other shoulder.

Anne teamed the dress with a pair of delicate nude strappy sandals, which perfectly complement the look.

Sarah Jessica Parker at the New York Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows premiere

sarah_jessica_parker_harry_potter_deathly_hallows.jpgSarah Jessica Parker was one of the celebrity attendees who took their kids to the New York Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part One) premiere last night.

Sarah and her husband Matthew Broderick brought their eight-year old son James to see the film (who got his picture taken with Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe, so we're sure he was very happy).

We were happy too because Sarah's red carpet outfit helped us to forget Emma's.

Wearing a black Vivienne Westwood gown, Sarah's look was about made by her gorgeous bright blue Nicolas Kirkwood shoes with metallic lace and criss-cross laces.

Emma Watson at New York Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows premiere

emma_watson_harry_potter_new_york_premiere.jpgOh dear Emma Watson - is this really the best you could do?

Last night the stars of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows jetted over to America for the the New York premiere of the movie.

Emma wore a custom designed Calvin Klein Collection black double silk satin halter dress with Calvin Klein Collection black copper anklet sandals.

The only part of her outfit we like is the arm bracelet, but it looks a bit out of place here and her hair... oh her hair... why the hair clip?

Her London outfit was so much better.

Or do you like it?
