What do you buy one of the world's most fashionable women for her thirtieth birthday? Well if you're the impeccably stylish Victoria Beckham, a pair of handpicked grey suede Christian Louboutin boots reportedly.
According to People magazine, the fashion designer gifted her good friend Kate Middleton the £1,600 boots - along with a matching grey belt - for her thirtieth birthday earlier this month.
The Duchess of Cambridge had apparently complimented her new friend on the boots after she saw a picture of her wearing them.
Creative Director Victoria then reportedly picked up a pair for Kate, ensuring they were delivered on her big day.
We're yet to see the Duchess step out in the shoes (and Clarence House don't divulge the details of private gifts) but, according to a mutual friend of the pair, she "absolutely loved" Victoria's very thoughtful present.
The pair were introduced by their husbands, David Beckham and Prince William. Since David and Victoria were guests at the Royal Wedding last year, Kate has apparently become very close to the mum of four.

The Duchess of Cambridge has sparked another shopping frenzy - after apparently snapping up this jumper in the January sales.
Kate was spotted shopping on Chelsea'sKing's Road on Monday.
She was reportedly seen browsing in Anonymous by Ross + Butebefore heading to the till clutching this suitably regal jewel collar V-neck wool knit, reduced from £169 to £89.
Frugal fashion, we like!
Unsurprisingly, it's since sold out completely online.
But the British label - also loved by Madonna - is already promising a re-release. Sign up to the waiting list now.
We reckon it's perfect for winter walks with the new puppy...

Jessica Alba brightened up dreary New York yesterday as she worked off-duty chic in three of spring's hottest trends.
First up, she picked a pair of digi print trousers by Erdem. The trick with this trend is to look for faded floral prints. Until Erdem-alikes hit the high street (we saw some dead ringers at the New Look press day), ease yourself in with these statement tapered trousers by River Island.
Her second new season buy - that green coat - is easier to copy. For spring, it's all about bright separates, think Pippa Middleton's pink jeans or Jessica's orange Acne tee, worn with a contrasting blazer. Give the look a twist with H&M's spearmint blazer.
The finishing touch? Sports-luxe sandals of course. While it's still too chilly to show your toes, try New Look's green courts.
March might be a while off, but Jessica has got us ridiculously excited for the new season. If only we could raid her actual wardrobe...
Zooey went to town on the black tie dress code for last night's Golden Globes by opting for monochrome tux nail art.
En route to the red carpet, the actress - who lost out to British actor Idris Elba for the Best Actor in a Mini Series gong - tweeted a picture of the super-cute designs via Instagram. She quipped: "I am wearing a gown but my nails are wearing tuxedos!!!".
We're not sure if they are a DIY job or the work of a professional nail artist, but either way we're smitten. She kept her look quirky with this green bespoke gown by Prada. LOVE.

Not content with designing five successful swimwear collections and modelling their party dresses, Kelly Brook is teaming up with New Look again. This time to launch a lingerie line.
As you might expect, Kelly's underwear collection is designed for girls with curves. Expect pin-up style sets featuring push-up balcony bras, flattering full briefs and saucy little extras like suspender belts, starting from just £5.99.
There's no word on sizing just yet but with Kelly reportedly wearing a 34E, we're sure she'll be catering for bigger girls too.
Shop the collection when it drops just before Valentines Day. We wouldn't suggest sending this link to your boyfriend for present ideas...

It may be a bit early in the week for a 'Yay or Nay', but Sarah Michelle Gellar'sGolden Globes dress has polarised thought on both sides of the Atlantic.
The gown was designed by LA-based Monique Lhuillier and apparently chosen by an unlikely stylist.
We don't think it's a strong look from the Buffy actress. Not only does the dress swamp her petite frame (even the Jimmy Choo's are struggling to save her), but it also reminds us of a stray white sock in a denim wash. Saying that, aquatic is a huge trend for SS12. Maybe we're just not ready to full embrace spring yet?
What do you think? Vote below.

The awards season is upon us once again! It kicked off last night with The People's Choice Awards in LA, and - as predicted - we've been having a heated red carpet style debate in the Osoyou office ever since the pictures hit our desks.
For us, there were two stand-out looks from last night.
We loved Miley Cyrus' more demure styling thanks to Cheryl Cole favourite, David Koma's grown-up gown. We also agreed that Kelly Osbourne could teach us a thing or two about colour-blocking. Head over to Catwalk Queen to see all the pics. But Lea Michele and Ginnifer Goodwin's slightly kooky looks were definitely the most contested.
Lea chose a pretty white fringed dress by Marchesa. She kept the rest of her outfit pared down - simple strappy metallic sandals, drop earrings and sleek straight hair provided the finishing touches. Meanwhile, Ginnifer made quite the entrance in fuchsia Rokasanda Ilinicic. Those bell sleeves and lace shoes ticked the trends for SS12.
We can't decide which actress' hotel room we'd rather raid, but who gets your best dressed gong? Let us know below.

Is this the tee we'll all be coveting for festival season?
Across the pond, two super-stylish celebs have been showing their patriotic side in faded American flag T-shirts. Rihanna chose an oversized Torn by Ronny Kobo tee paired with denim shorts to watch The Lakers play in LA. While Rosie threw a cropped 'Born on the Fourth of July' shirt by cult brand Firefox over her Zimmerman bikini to see in the new year on the beach in Miami.
Annoyingly neither are available yet in the UK, but expect copycats popping up on the high street quicker than you can say 'Star-Spangled Banner'. All we need now is blue skies...

Pippa Middleton brightened up the greyest of January days in London yesterday by stepping out in her most colourful outfit yet: bright pink jeans, a checked shirt and a blazer.
The Duchess of Cambridge's younger sister was pictured running errands in a pair of pink Superdry'powdered denim slim' skinny jeans. She added her trusty black Zara blazer and shoe boots to smarten up the look.
Pippa's checked shirt comes from relatively unknown Parisian label, Maje. A favourite of Vanessa Paradis and Marion Cotillard, expect to see their relaxed take on tailoring popping up everywhere this year.
It's a daring look, but one we'll definitely be stealing to ease ourselves in to the new season!

Danish high street favourite Vero Moda have given their pre-spring collection an injection of quirky British cool thanks to new face, Alexa Chung.
In the recently released campaign shots, Alexa gives the brand's affordable basics her signature tomboyish twist. She's seen hanging out in indie-cool area Williamsburg, New York wearing print dresses with brogues and socks, cute shirts and an Alexa wardrobe staple: the parka.
The whole shoot definitely has a summery street-style vibe.
Watch at Alexa at work below and shop the collection here.
