Jamie Winstone attended the BAFTA ceremony yesterday and was one of those, along with director Sam Taylor Wood, who wore Alexander McQueen.
The actress wore a gorgeous, floor-length vintage nude gown as a tribute to the designer, but unfortunately ruined the whole thing with her over-the-top make up and facial tan.
With dark burgundy lipstick and drawn on black eyebrows, it seems Jamie was trying to go for 'old Hollywood' and unfortunately landed somewhere in 'drag queen'.
Such a shame.

I know Ciara has stepped up her fashion game and is the muse for Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci and everything but...it's still not quite working is it?
The singer was spotted at the Givenchy show last week all coutured up in sexy black leather and arrived at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party in a bizarre collision of shorts, thigh high boots and a shagpile rug Mongolian fur top-jacket-whatever. She must be absolutely roasting and frankly the clothes are wearing her.
All that said, she gets top marks for hair and make-up. Groomed, cool and ultra flattering. I say let's have more experimentation with the make-up and less with the clothes.

Following a dramatic no-show last week, Lady GaGa played her first Monster Ball show at Radio City Music Hall on Wednesday.
Arriving at the venue looking relatively dressed down, she sported a crystal-studded leather jacket, dominatrix boots and a hat borrowed from the Village People. The gold metallic Minx nails looked spectacular but may I suggest GaGa, that you take the shades off to apply your lip liner next time?
The concert - one of four New York dates - received rave reviews. Among the A-list guests attending the show were Sting, Trudie Styler and er, Donald Trump.

Katie Price has been sharing her beauty tips with the Daily Mail and as we guessed, it's not your average soap and beauty routine. 'I used to use spray tan but it stinks so now I use sun beds. I know people say they're dangerous and can give you skin cancer but I don't smoke, I hardly drink and we've all got to die of something, so that's just my choice,' she says without irony.
She is also a fan of facials, Botox and hair extensions. Surprisingly, her secret weapon is Vaseline, 'it gives a nice a shine on your lips, you can put it on your eye lashes and it helps them glow.' Eyelashes that glow, how er, gorgeous.

Another day, another celebrity beauty on a beach. But this isn't just any beauty. While sunning herself and looking oh-so-effortless in Phuket, Kate Moss has other things on her mind. Big businessy things. Talking to The Times on the subject of her new fragrance, Kate explains how she manages it all. 'I live in the moment. My diary's scheduled but I don't really think about what I've got to do in two weeks because I might freak out, so I just take it a day at a time.'
And she has big plans in store. When asked if there's anything she'd still like to conquer, the answer is ready and waiting. 'Make-up.' Well, if anyone can make it happen, Kate can.

Lily Cole, the current face of Rimmel might not be hanging around on those billboards much longer according to The Daily Mail. The model has had quite enough of posing and pouting thank you very much and would rather concentrate on her flourishing acting career.
The 21 year old isn't your average model-turned-actress, she has given acclaimed performances in the St Trinian's film and The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus. She has also been working on two new films - Phantasmagoria: The Visions Of Lewis Carroll and There Be Dragons. 'I've been doing modelling for years and I feel like I've taken out of it what I need to and I'm ready for new things,' says Cole.

With a book deal, rumoured clothing line and the rest, Leona Lewis has already had a few offers not to be sniffed, but her latest deal - a perfume endorsement - puts her right up with the big guns like Kate, SJP, J-Lo and, er, Kerry Katona.
The singer's scent isn't going to be any old fragrance though - no, as a major campaigner for animal rights, Leona is working with staunch environmental company LR to ensure the product is totally ethical.
In a promo video for her German fans, Leona said: "I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to work on such an exciting project. I am passionate about what I do and it is important for me to give the best I can to my fans all of the time."
Ah, Leona always comes up smelling of roses.

As in: the perfume's called 'Outrageous'. Well, what did you expect it to be called? 'Dignified'? 'Wallflower'?
No, Kerry Katona's scent is called Outrageous - and here she was launching it, outrageously, in Manchester.
She was, as you can see, fairly underdressed in a 'Miss Attitude' T-shirt and black jeans - although the perfume itself was rather overdressed in a red and black spiky bottle.
In fact, the most outrageous thing about the launch was Kerry sticking her tongue out. As usual.
Honestly Kerry, is that really the most outrageous thing you can do? Actually, I think we all know the answer to that... *coughs*.

Want to know how Gwyneth Paltrow stays so gorgeous and glowing? Apart from the expensive facials, macrobiotic chef and personal trainer, that is?
Well, she's revealed all - about how to stay in shape, that is - and it's actually eminently sensible, and do-able. In her latest email newsletter, Gwynnie shares the advice of her three (count 'em!) doctors.
"Sleep eight hours for two weeks, then start eliminating 'white' foods," Gwyneth quotes her New York cardiologist Dr. Alejandro Junger as saying. "After two weeks of sleeping and eating better, you'll have the energy to exercise. Begin as you like. If you are totally out of shape, start by walking 15 minutes a day and add a minute every day for the first month."
"At the end of a month, you'll be up to 45 minutes a day, which should make you ready for whatever more strenuous form of exercise you want to try," he continues. "Experiment with them all to see what works best for you and stick with it."
In Gwyneth's case: hitting the gym for three hours a day. The rest of us might just want to try the "sleeping" part.
