If you follow both halves of a celebrity couple on twitter, you can see some awesome conversations. The other day for example, Joel Madden discovered that his wife Nicole Richie had spent $3000 on pillows. He was not happy about this.
He tweeted, "Do you ever look at your credit card bill & ask your wife how the hell she could spend 3 thousand dollars on pillows? I do. PILLOWS."
Adding, "I mean can't we just go to Target and get our pillows??? SMH"
And: "Needless to say the pillows are going back to the expensive ass pillow store. Hope she likes the Target pillows I'm putting in their place."
Ha! Nicole's response to this? "That's why I ignore your calls".
So - would you have made her take the pillows back?
Nicole Richie is in Paris right now for Paris Fashion Week, and attended the Givenchy A/W11 show yesterday, the lucky thing.
We hear it's freezing in Paris right now, and Nicole looked like she was warmer then anyone else there in a sleeveless black leather dress which she paired with snakeskin platform court shoes and copious amounts of black eyeliner. Trés Français.
Sorry it's not more fun, but it seems like celebrities really are just like us: just trying to stick to their new year's resolution to be fitter.
So they've all been down the gym. A lot. That's all they've done in fact.
It's been a slow week frankly.
Anyway, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Richie, Khloe Kardashian and a newly freed Lindsay Lohan were all papped in their best workout gear, which for three of them included a Hermes Birkin bag. Check out their gym style in the gallery below.
Nicole Richie did an interview for Lucky magazine and talked about her accessories line House of Harlow and revealed that she owns no fewer then 30 (THIRTY!) Chanel handbags. Thirty!
Nicole told them when quizzed, "That's not a fair question! Okay, 30, but I stole a lot of them from my mom!"
Jealous.
Nicole also said, "To me, fashion is about fun. I've always experimented. I dyed my hair purple, and I dyed my hair green, and I went through a Punky Brewster phase, a preppy phase, a goth phase, a girly phase, a grunge phase...I'm sure my style won't stop here."
Although Nicole Richie didn't name names in her interview with People magazine on her wedding, the new bride revealed that the... selective guest list only included people she loved.
Nicole said, "We only wanted to celebrate with the people who we love and who care about us."
Nicole also described how Joel Madden is the perfect husband - he let her organise everything! Good man.
She said: "Joel let me organise my dream wedding. Harlow didn't sprinkle the flowers, she just kept putting handfuls of them on the floor. Sparrow was the ring-bearer."
The first picture of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's wedding has been revealed, and what a dress!
Nicole wore not one, but three Marchesa wedding dresses for the ceremony, including the one above, featuring a ballgown skirt crafted from more than 100 yards of hand-draped silk organza and tulle petals, inspired by Grace Kelly's wedding gown.
The couple wed under a tent transformed to resemble a French garden, in front of their two children, Harlow, 2, as the flower girl, and 15-month-old Sparrow was the ring-bearer.
Of the day, Nicole told People, "It was magical," with Joel adding, "It was the best night of my life."
We were half joking when we said that Paris Hilton wasn't invited to Nicole Richie's wedding - we just assumed that since there being no pictorial evidence of her attendance (and if she had gone, there would be). But it seems we were right.
Apparently Nicole agonized for months over whether to invite her old frenemy, before deciding not to.
A source told Pop Eater, "Nicole is in a very different place in her life from when she was hanging out with Paris."
The explained, "She's the mother of two and now a wife while Paris seems to be in exactly the same spot she was in five years ago. Still partying in Vegas and getting into trouble with the law."
Nicole Richie was finally married to boyfriend Joel Madden this weekend in a big ceremony at her dad Lionel's house in LA.
The couple were married in front of 130 guests at her father Lionel Richie's Beverly Hills mansion, including Gwen Stefani, DJ Samantha Ronson, Rachel Zoe, Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner. Paris Hilton wasn't invited.
The ceremony was also apparently officiated by Rev Run and Nicole wore a $20,000 custom-made Marchesa gown.
After all our waiting, Nicole Richie and fiance Joel Madden are reportedly getting married this weekend!
"Nicole is going for a vintage and romantic vibe. The wedding will be true to Nicole's style," a source said.
Nicole and Joel have apparently decided to have a smaller, more intimate affair - and haven't invited that many people - so we guess Paris Hilton wasn't invited then.
The source said, "Nicole cut down the guest list because she didn't want a huge wedding."
"She didn't invite a bunch of her celeb friends. This has apparently upset a bunch of people."
Nicole Richie appeared on the Ellen Degenres Show recently and talked about children Harlow and Sparrow, that restraining order and her new novel Priceless.
