Nicole Richie has revealed that she wishes she'd never got the word 'virgin' written across her wrist as a teenager.
Nicole explained, "I'm a Virgo and the sign is a virgin. So when I was 16, I got the word virgin tattooed on my wrist, thinking I was so deep and cool.
She added, "And now I just look really weird having virgin written across my wrist and I have to explain it."
We imagine this is how Amanda Seyfried will feel eventually about her 'funny' tattoo.
Reports have surfaced that Nicole Richie's 'friends' are worried she's having a breakdown, after she apparently had one in July...
The 28-year-old is 'upset' because she feels like Joel Madden is not committed to their relationship... despite the fact that she is engaged to him and they have two kids.
A 'source' said, "Nicole is at her wit's end."
They added, "She feels like her personal life is imploding. Besides everything else, she can't keep up with her work demands. She barely gets four hours of sleep a night."
"Nicole sobbed to a pal last month, 'I can't take this anymore!'"
Well, there she is pictured with Joel a few days ago, and we think she looks fine!
Nicole Richie has advised women out there to really concentrate on shoes when they're out shopping.

Nicole said, "If you're going to spend on one thing, even when you're on a budget, I'd say splash out on shoes. They make an outfit. And your feet don't grow any more, so you can wear a good pair of shoes forever."
The mother of two also talked about her passion for vintage, adding, "I'm a big vintage shopper and I love thrift stores. The beauty of anything vintage is that you're not going to see lots of other people in the same thing. I like to be different. I wear a ton of accessories. I love scarves. I've lost count of how many I have, but you can never have too many - they totally lift an outfit and make it individual."
Nicole Richie has announced that she will be releasing her second novel in September!
Nicole's first book, The Truth About Diamonds, was quite successful, and she's obviously hoping her second, titled, Priceless, will do the same!
The socialite turned fashion designer made the announcement on her personal blog.
She said "This book has been a project that I've put my heart and soul into and I'm happy that I get to share it with you here first. Hope you enjoy it."
According to reports, Nicole Richie has called off her wedding to Joel Madden!
The pair, who announced their engagement in February, have two children together Sparrow and Harlow.
A source said, "Their wedding is off for now."
The continued, "Nicole is upset that Joel seems more interested in being on the road with his buddies, boozing and hanging out in bars than he is in sharing family time in LA."
The insider added: "It's become a joke among Nicole's family and friends how many times she's planned and postponed the ceremony."
"I had no idea who that Cheryl girl was," she said, "I heard her accent and thought she must be Irish. She's not big in the US."
At a My-Wardrobe dinner celebrating Nicole's new Winter Kate collection, Nicole talked about making an effort to dress well.
She said, "I'm all for what's comfortable but I don't think people today make enough effort with what they wear. At the same time I don't want to have to get out of bed early to decide what to put on."

It was a good night for Nicole all round as she also won Glamour's "Entrepreneur of the Year" for her Winter Kate clothing line, and her House Of Harlow 1960 accessories collection.
