Tom Cruise's former 'wife' and former 'girlfriend' were forced to stand next to each other on the red carpet at the LA premiere of new film Nine.
Although why everyone assumes there would be tension between the two we don't know - having both kicked Tom to the curb, they've already got something in common and probably spent most of the night joking about the hidden platforms in his built-up shoes.
However, if things did get a bit terse, Black Eyed Pea Fergie, bless her cottons, was on hand to distract the press with her rather sizeable assets, which looked about ready to jump about and give her a black eye for most of the night.

Our favourite Nicole Kidman incarnation ever had to be Moulin Rouge - she looks fab in over the top, opulent costumes. Which is one of the many reasons we're tres excited about new film Nine, which boasts a fantastic all-star, almost all-female cast, including Nicole, Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz and Judi Dench.
Telling the story of an Italian film director (played by Daniel Day Lewis) in the Sixties and all the women in his life (Sophia Lauren was on hand to play his mother!), Nicole is in uber glamour puss mode has his increasingly demanding muse and leading lady.
As you can imagine, the premiere last night was a veritable flash frock fest, but this is one film where we're much more interested in what the cast were wearing on screen...

Nicole Kidman and Gwyneth Paltrow are set to star together in a new film as husband and wife!
Nicole will be taking on the role of Einar Wegener a Danish artist who was born a man but went on to live as a woman, becoming the world's first post-op transsexual.
Wegner was married in 1904 to Illustrator Gerta Gottlieb, who will be played by Gwyneth Paltrow. He only discovered his preference for living as a woman when standing in for a female model who was due to pose for one of this wife's paintings.
After the scandal broke out, the couple eventually upped and moved to Paris, where the newly anonymous Wegener adopted the alter-ego Lili Elbe.
They remained married until 1929, when Wegener began to embark upon a series of sex change operations - after which the marriage was automatically annulled.
We can't wait to see what Nicole and Gwyneth pull out of the bag for this one!

Nicole Kidman has revealed that she was warned not to get married to Tom Cruise and has been into 'strange sexual fetish stuff' in the past.
Talking to GQ, Nicole said: 'I became famous very young. I became very famous because I was the wife of somebody... And really, despite the huge profile that bought to me, I was still finding my feet.
'My agents at the time were like, "Do not get married! It will ruin your career!" and I was like "But I'm in love". I wasn't someone interested in fame. And that's not why I got married.'
She also said much of her life has been about sexual exploration from 'mundane' marriage and monogamy to 'strange sexual fetish stuff'.
Crikey, there's a side to Nicole we've never seen before...

Nicole is a busy woman.
Yep, she's a wife, mother and Hollywood A-Lister with a film out, hence the multiple appearances of late on the red carpet to promote her latest flick - 'Australia'. At 30 million USD a film, I suppose it's the least she can do - don a nice sparkly dress and smile for the cameras.
So here is Nicole in Leicester Square for the London premiere of the film. No Keith Urban, perhaps he's working on some new country tunes? Anyway, I think Nicole looks quite like her good friend, and fellow A-Lister, Naomi watts, I think it's the scrapped back hair? The shiny dress is great and makes for a refreshing red-carpet look. I suppose with multiple premiere a girl needs lots of dresses - if they were all long and sweeping it would get a bit boring wouldn't it?

I never really realised the height difference between Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban until now.
Despite wearing flat shoes for the French premier of her latest film, Australia, Nicole towers over her hubby. But that's not where the fun ends, oh no no no.
I'm just not a fan of Nicole's outfit; it's just a bit too drab for a Hollywood film great such as Nicole. Where's the glitz and glamour? The knee length dress with its odd honeycomb pattern would perhaps have been better saved for Sunday Rose's first school parents meeting?
As for Keith, is this a case of credit crunch fashion? Dressed in what appears to be the exact same outfit that he wore to the last premiere of Australia, the dimunitive country star seems to be short on style ideas. Maybe despite earning over 30million USD per film, Nicole doesn't give Keith a clothing allowance?
Despite wearing the biggest heeled boots I've ever seen, Keith Urban was still no (height) match for his wife Nicole Kidman on the red carpet.
Luckily, Keith is country - so it's allowed. The singer joined Nicole at the New York premiere of her new film, Australia.
Nicole, on the other hand, opted for high glam with this sparkling gold and black dress and swept-back hair. Me likey!
Much speculation has been made lately over Nicole's grey roots on the red carpet. Is she going to surrender to the ageing process and go grey all over?

As I said below - Jennifer Lopez almost stole the show at the 15th Annual Women in Hollywood party last night. But Nicole Kidman actually stole it.
Looking rather like a gazelle who's just given birth - bear with me - the statuesque Ms Kidman looked quite impossibly perfect on the red carpet, wearing a bejwelled mini dress which she accessorised with pink satin shoes, a black clutch and emerald earrings.
And while J.Lo was talking to reporters about sending her twins off to brainwashing Scientology school, Nicole has been talking to Elle magazine about her and Keith Urban's new daughter, Sunday Rose.
"At 41, it's a more painful love," she tells the November issue of the mag. "It's almost like my heart is stretching; I'm feeling all these muscles stretch with emotion. It's a beautiful love but there's a lot of fear and pain for her life... I like to believe that nothing was stopping Sunday from coming into the world."

Yes! It's true! According to the people at People. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's daughter, Sunday Rose, nearly three months old now, is to marry Russell Crowe's two-year-old son, Tennyson. Says Nicole: "I'm a great believer in arranged marriages."
No wonder she's looking away from the camera; she's already got her eyes on the flowers for the wedding. And I wonder if little Sunday will follow her mum's fashion style, walking down the aisle? A black wedding dress topped off with a baseball cap? And of course trainers. In this instance the appropriate footwear when you are walking by a "caution: slippery surface" cone without looking where you're going.
Of course, it's all just a bit of light hearted Antipodean fun. Or is it? After all, Sunday and Tennyson share the same birthday and recently the Crowes and the Kidmans all met on a Sunday. Sinister. Sing the X-Files theme tune to yourself in your crazy little head at this point. Duh duh duh duh, duh duh duh duh. Of the meeting, mild-mannered Russell said: "It was nice".
