The film has been nominated for awards including Best Male Movie Star (for Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner), Best Female Movie star (for Kristen Stewart), Choice Movie Fantasy and Choice Movie Villain.
Others at the forefront of nominations include Miley Cyrus (with 13) and Glee (also with 13).

When you're a celebrity you should be very careful about what you say and near who, because it's likely to end up in the media (and therefore on OSOYOU).

A 'source' said, "She looked to her friend and said, 'Oh my God, poor girl'"
Katy reportedly added, "She's Britney Spears all over again. It's happening right before our eyes. She's definitely headed the Britney route. It's worse. Look at those outfits. It's bad."

Miley Cyrus debuted a brand new shorter hairdo at the MuchMusic Awards, but sadly it was only temporary.
The teen singer has reportedly gone back to her beloved extensions - and at a very high price... it apparently cost her $24,000!
A source said, "Miley bought the best hair possible, and then had it dyed to match hers exactly. Her hair is an investment."
At this point it is unclear whether the price includes the hairs airfare after it was flown from Italy to New York, and then from New York to LA.

Miley Cyrus has declared that she hates most other pop music, apart from Lady Gaga, who she loves.
The Hannah Montana singer said, "Huge fan! That's my pop guilty pleasure. I love Lady Gaga. I think she's always herself to the full."
She continued, "Even though she's a pop artist, I look at her videos and I don't see a squeaky pop singer or perky all the time. Her stuff means real things, so she's cool. I like her."
But then, she must like pop music... seeing as she makes it? No? No.
Miley says, "People are always like, 'What do you mean you don't listen to pop music and you're a pop artist?' But there's something about performing to those dance vibes that is so much fun. I work so much, so I like really chill [music] or just rock, you know, real, real stuff."

Despite having to dress extremely provocatively to stay with the style of her album, Miley Cyrus says that it is empowering for women.
Miley said, "It's just about freeing yourself from anything you think is holding you back. And I think that's really important, especially for girls, because so many people are told, 'No, you can't do something,' or, 'You need to be this because mom and dad say that, teachers say this.'"
The singer said her songs Liberty Walk and Can't Be Tamed show these themes more obviously. She said, "I wrote ['Liberty Walk'] for women that feel like they're stuck in abusive relationships, but it's a dance song. So you think that must be kind of a sad ballad, but it's a party song. ... It's about breaking free."

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are still together and she'd like us to remember that.
The singer has been talking about her new album and how much of it was written about Liam.
She said, "There are a lot of songs that are about Liam. I tell him every one's about him."
More seriously, she continued, "All of them are about him in a way, but it's also about past relationships that you gotta get over and move on and just about freeing yourself from anything that you feel holds you back. Just let go of anything that's not going to help you in your future and ... always keep going forward."

Miley Cyrus cut a more modest figure at the Much Music awards on Sunday as she picked up an award for 'International video of the year - artist' for Party In The USA.
The 17-year-old wore a fitted leather dress and had cut off her extensions for the event.
She looks so much better with shorter hair, don't you think?
Miley answered twitter questions from her fans the other day and spoke about writing her album.
She said, "The hardest [song to write] was maybe ... they all came pretty natural. I can't really think of one that was super-hard. Maybe 'Permanent December,' I was really busy when we recorded that and 'Every Rose [Has Its Thorn]' took some work too because we changed it up so much."

Miley Cyrus always seems to be defending her fashion choices.
The singer has been insisting that she isn't dressing sluttily, but she's just being consistent with her album - trying to match her image to her more mature sound...
Miley insisted, "I'm not trying to be 'sl*tty'. I'm not trying to be like, go to the club and get a bunch of guys."
She added, "I'm really comfortable with my body, I work really hard to be fit and to know that I can wear whatever makes me most comfortable. I feel more comfortable dressing with a little less, which is just how I've always been."

Miley Cyrus has been taking a lot of flak lately for her new provocotive image and has been defending her decision to act more grown up, saying that men do the same thing and get away with it.
She said during an interview, "Girls are immediately going to say, 'Oh, she's trying to sell sex'. Well, I love Zac Efron, but what's he selling? He's gorgeous, he's hot, I don't go see his movie because I'm like, 'He's such a fantastic actor.' He's a great actor, but he's hot."
She continued, "He's just not in a leotard with his legs out. He has his shirt off. So what's the difference? In 'High School Musical'... he's in basketball shorts and his cutoff tank top and all the girls are dying."
Miley added, "I was on tour with the Jonas Brothers my first year and boy bands get away with a lot. For girls, it's always going to be harder. That's not an excuse, it just means we have to work harder."

Despite coming under fire for acting 'wild', Miley Cyrus has said she never will be.
Obviously she doesn't class pretending to make out with a girl and wearing next to nothing as being wild like everyone else.
The 17-year-old said an in interview, "If I'm ever seen out dancing at a club having fun, I don't want people to immediately go, 'Oh, she's on drugs, she's drunk',"
"I'm never going to be that person. As long as I steer clear of that and keep that mind frame, I think I'll be cool."
Although that's not to say she won't ever have a drink - Miley said, "I'm not gonna be like, 'I'll never have a drink in my entire life', because that's probably going to be a lie."
She added, "There's a right way to do so - everything is good in small portions."
