We make fun of Miley Cyrus quite a lot, but you can't say she's not a good daughter.
The singer was out eating with her mum Tish and as usual the paparazzi were waiting there like the ever circling vultures they are.
One of them made the mistake of shoving past Tish to get a better angle of Miley, and, well... she wasn't happy. In fact, this is probably the most we've ever respected her! Check out Miley sticking up for her mum in the video above!
Miley Cyrus presented Saturday Night Live at the weekend and sang a song as part of her opening monologue. The song addressed all the scandals she's had over the past few years, with lyrics including "Annie Leibovitz tried to get me nude" and drew attention to Lindsay Lohan's problems, singing "I never stole a necklace or got a D.U.I.".

In a new attempt to be taken seriously as an edgy and grown up singer, Miley Cyrus has taken up smoking.
She was 'caught' by paparazzi with a cigarette while driving around after getting a new tattoo (she's edgy remember). This wouldn't be news as such, if she hadn't written in her autobiography that she would 'never' smoke as it would ruin her voice.
She wrote in 'Miles to go', "I guess my idea of a good party is someone getting their face smashed in cake, not getting smashed. I don't drink & I would never smoke."
Digging her hole a little deeper, she added, "I always say that for me, smoking would be like smashing my guitar and expecting it to play. I'd never do that to my voice, not to mention the rest of my body."
No one likes a hypocrite Miley.

Even though countless of their famous peers before them have seen the naked photo they sent someone become their downfall, it still doesn't stop them from taking pictures of parts of their body they'd rather not have us see and then being embarrassed and shocked as they watch them sweep the internet.
Lady Gaga fell foul of it just this week (although we doubt she minds). You'd think they'd learn from everyone else's mistakes but no. Everyone from Disney princesses Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus to wannabe Peaches Geldof have seen their sexy snaps almost destroy their credibility and career (well except for Peaches, she didn't have any in the first place).

Miley Cyrus has been ranked first in a poll of the worst celebrity influences on teen website Just So You Know... for the second year in a row!
The child star beat tough competition in the form of the recently free from rehab Lindsay Lohan, the currently in rehab Demi Lovato, Kanye West, and Chace Crawford (although we're not sure what he's done) to end up in the #1 slot.
Miley, who we're sure doesn't give a damn, received 58% of JSYK's readers 99,000 votes.

Miley Cyrus and I have more in common then I imagined, because we both spent a portion of our Christmas Day colouring.
I know this because Miley filmed a little message for all her fans, wishing them a Merry Christmas and telling us all her plans for the year, which includes 'helping people'. Good to know! Check it out above!

Kelly Osbourne has come out in defence of Miley Cyrus after a gossip column wrote that her mum Sharon was worried that the 18-year old singer was 'a bad influence' on her daughter.
Kelly posted the above picture on her twitter, with the caption, "I'm just being Miley!"
Kelly also went on a little twitter rant defending her new friend, writing, "Miley and I have become really close. I'm sick of all the haters judging her...This really makes me mad. Miley is one of the most hard working respectful women I have ever worked with, I am learning a lot from her!"

An old friend of Miley Cyrus from school, Nicole Mullen-Holm, has given an interview accusing the child star of being 'a bully', after Miley wrote in her autobiography ('Miles To Go' HAHAHA) that she was bullied at school.
Mullen-Holm said, "Miley is a liar who bullied girls and was a real b*tch to everyone."
Strong words!
She told Radar Online, "I'm so in shock that Destiny, oh, I mean Miley, wrote a book about being the victim of middle school bullying when she was the mean girl of our school."
"Even though we were friends, she was still a brat. I knew her from the first grade and when she and I got to middle school, she just did a 180-degree turn in the wrong direction."

Miley Cyrus has decided she needs a little get-away pad and has bought herself a condo in Florida for $1.8 million (that's £1.1m).
Well actually she bought it last December apparently, but whatever.
The 18-year old's condo features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a view of the Gulf of Mexico, an entertainment room and a gym.
