Actress and singer Miley Cyrus was talking about why she notoriously deleted her twitter account and told reporters that "it's kind of lame."
Strong words Miley, strong words.
Speaking about how her life had changed since she deleted her twitter, Miley said, "I have a lot more real friends as opposed to friends who are on the internet who I'm talking to - which is like not cool, not safe, not fun and most likely not real. I think everything is just better when you're not so wrapped up in [the internet]."
She continued, "I just think it's kind of lame. I feel like I hang out with my friends and they're so busy taking pictures of what they're doing and putting them on Facebook that they're not really enjoying what they're doing."
It sounds like your friends are the lame ones dude. Maybe you should delete them too?

Miley Cyrus is on the cover of April's Teen Vogue - looking beautiful and a lot more covered up then usual - and chatting about her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, who was also in the photospread with her.
The teenage Hannah Montana actress, who stars with Liam in new film The Last Song, chatted about how what they have in common, saying, "I think we're both deeper than normal people -- what they think and how they feel. He's very grateful for what he has, but he doesn't let it go to his head. I'm like that too."
In return, Liam said about his girlfriend, "It was funny -- working with Miley was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be." Aww, what a sweet compliment.
Miley also spoke about the upcoming Sex and the City movie, which she has a cameo in. Asked who her favourite character was she replied, "I know everyone says Carrie, but I love Kim Cattrall, so I'll say Samantha," she said. "I want to be her because she's the hottest, she's funny, and she has attitude."

We reported that Miley Cyrus would be presenting an award at the Oscars, and here she is on the red carpet wearing Jenny Peckham.
Another of the nude gowns at the event, it was an improvement on Miley's usual outfit choices, in that there is more of it.
Incorporating a the underwear-as-outerwear trend in the bodice, which was corset-esque and edged with a small ruffle (small, Vera, do you hear?), the dress flowed out into a large tulle skirt scattered with crystals, and she kept it young with black nails.
However, Miley; STAND UP STRAIGHT. Kristen has only just got the message, don't you start slouching now too.

Miley Cyrus, Zac Efron, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart will all be presenting at the 82nd Academy Awards this year.
It's not the first time for Miley and Zac who will be making their second appearances at the prestigious award show.
But for the two members of the 'Holy Trinity of Twilight', Kristen who plays Bella Swan and Taylor who plays Jacob Black it will be their Oscar debut.
Let's hope Kristen will be able to lose some of her awkwardness, learn to stand up straight and smile by March 7th.

Those who were shocked by Miley Cyrus' raunchy Vanity Fair pictures had better brace themselves. Her sister has got in on the act too. Miley's younger sister Noah has raised eyebrows with news of her latest venture - a pre-teen clothing line.
But banish thoughts of pastel pink denim and slogan tees. The range - created by 9-year-old Noah and best friend Emily Grace Reaves - consists of 'trendy, sweet, yet edgy' pieces that can be 'worn with ballerina slippers or trainers, or paired with lace stockings and boots for a more rock and roll look.' Lace stockings for a 9-year-old? Yikes. Call us old fashioned but what's wrong with sensible old woolly tights?!

Is Miley Cyrus morphing into Mary-Kate Olsen? I feel I've seen that beanie, check shirt and grungy curtain of hair somewhere before, not to mention the face-obscuring sunnies.
Miley does get a point for giving the look her own spin with a pair of leather shorts. Like 'em or not, these are going to be everywhere for the coming season. Miley Cyrus pulls her best cool girl look, a million miles from the butter-wouldn't-melt pose she adopts on the cover of this month's US Harper's Bazaar.
Snapped hanging out in Los Angeles at the weekend, the actress worked a Balmain-inspired outfit consisting of bleach-splashed and ripped-to-oblivion skinny jeans, unbuckled biker boots and a slouchy furry bag. Her shredded T-shirt got tongues wagging when she turned her back to display a bra-revealing cobweb of threads. Oh Miley, you crazy rebel you!

Miley is all smiley as she wanders around her Los Angeles neighbourhood. The 17-year-old winner of the People's Choice Award for Favourite Breakout Movie Actress looks cool and casual in her skinny jeans and tank uniform, accessorised with low-key slouchy bag and work boots.
Talking to Harper's Bazaar magazine she says of her new film, The Last Song in which she stars with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, 'It's pretty deep. I want to do edgier movies - movies where you walk away feeling fulfilled.'

Fresh from telling us all what a totally amazing cool person she is, Miley Cyrus managed to lug her massive ego over the Atlantic just in time for the Jingle Bells Ball (alongside a spangly trio of Sugarbabes).
Now that she's a proper grown up (she turned seventeen in November), she obviously felt like she was old enough to flash a bit of flesh in an incredibly pointless navel-slashed t-shirt and hot pants.
Proving that she's not quite Katie Price yet, Miley retained her modesty somewhat by covering her chest with her (actually very useful) chestnut locks. That and a pair of very cool biker boots save the look from street walker territory, but for some reason she mainly looks like she's about to go on a team building paintballing weekend (apart from the bra, obviously).

Miley Cyrus may have just celebrated her 17th birthday, but she doesn't have most teenager's crippling self doubt to deal with.
Asked on the Sirius XM radio show if she ever gets intimidated by other celebrities, the Hannah Montanna star replied: "No, I'm pretty cool. I'm pretty much the coolest person ever..."
Excellent, glad we've cleared that one up Miley. We see a lifetime of diva tantrums ahead of Ms Cyrus (see also: Mariah Carey), but before that there's just he small matter of her teenage crush to contend with.
In the same interview, Miley admitted to having something of a thing for Zac Efron who, of course, is a close personal friend of hers: "There are not many things about me that are like a normal teenage girl. But the one normal teenage girl thing is that I think Zac Efron is the hottest person in the world.
"I really, really like him. And it's weird... it's weird because he's my friend."
Yes Miley, we get it, you're super cool and grown up and have lots of celebrity friends. Snore...
