Lindsay Lohan was released from jail this morning after serving 13 days of her 90-day sentence there.
The actress, who was sent to a Los Angeles jail on 20 July after violating her probation on a 2007 drink-driving charge, was released early because of good behaviour and overcrowding.
Lindsay will now check in to a rehabilitation facility, where she is expected to now begin a 90-day programme.

Lindsay Lohan was on good form yesterday in Cannes as she attended Chopard's 150th birthday party - where her arch rival Paris Hilton was also in attendance.
The actress showed off her long legs in a tiny white mini-dress with silver sequin embellished shoulders and silver platform sandals.
It's nice to see her looking healthy.
But there was no drama for a change - at the party Lindsay and Paris, who have been at loggerheads for five years - apparently kept to opposite sides of the room.
Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Marion Cotillard, Kate Beckinsale, Myleene Klass and Sir Phillip Green were also there.

Lindsay Lohan has been dishing about her much publiscized role as the famous Deep Throat porn star (who turns anti-pornography campaigner) Linda Lovelace in upcoming film, Inferno.
The actress labels the film a 'tragic love story'. She said, "I think of Inferno as a tragic love story. It's about a woman who is essentially trafficked into her own marriage."
Lindsay added, "The truthfulness of it is in the ways the characters connect, even in very unhealthy ways, and can't get away from each other, find themselves interlocked. That element of Linda's story feels to me very much like real life."

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been banned from an LA nightclub after she allegedly threw a glass at ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson's head.
Samantha, who was DJing at the club, tweeted, "Just got a glass thrown at my head... Hmmm - wonder who did it????"
When asked by reporters why Lindsay had done it, Samantha said, "I don't know... she's an angry human being."

Oh dear. I'm starting to feel quite sorry for Lindsay Lohan.
The actress has been dumped from the production of her next movie The Other Side after all that unpleasantness with her dad and the police and her mad entertaining twitter updates.
Apparently the directer David Michaels thought it was all "too much".
He said: "Our team simply chose to move on from Lindsay and we'll soon be announcing a replacement."
How is she going to pay off her debts now?!

Lindsay Lohan and her twitter page make up another post today - Michael Lohan apparently stormed her apartment yesterday with the poilce in tow.
Lindsay's dad was apparently there to do a "welfare check" on her sister Ali.
The actress tweeted the whole ordeal - highlights include:
"I have no choice but to make this public, due to my sister's safety, as well as my own, "my ex-dad" just WALKED INTO MY APT like the devil's advocate with officers...."
"let's not forget, that my father KIDNAPPED me from a COURT ROOM when i was 4 years old and is CRAZY"
"he has NEVER paid child support, and is marrying a tabloid writer and can barely spell his own name due to his "brain" that has been ruined due to HIS drug use."
"@Lara_Disco my lawyer isn't answering I NEED A RESTRAINING ORDER! MY SISTER AND FRIEND TOO!!!!! HE'S NUTS!!!"
Lindsay's mum Dina has released a statement saying, "I was told by my attorneys not to speak because it is very serious and my ex could be in big trouble. He's dangerous.... If he can't get to them he is going to try to hurt them - it's not good."

Uh oh. Apparently Lindsay Lohan's outstanding rent wasn't the last of her money problems - sources are claiming that the actress owes hundreds of thousands of dollars to credit card companies.
An insider said, "Lindsay owes credit cards $600,000. One card cut her off last week and it's only a matter of time before all her other credit cards cut her off too."
The insider continued, "One credit card company is going to discuss a payment plan for Lindsay. But if she doesn't have the income and can't make her payments, they are prepared to sue her."
Eek. Good job she (maybe) has that job playing a porn star coming up!
