Lindsay Lohan has failed a drug test just a few weeks after leaving rehab - and may be heading back to jail as a result.
The actress tweeted a statement admitting to the story, saying, "Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result. Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day."
"I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future.This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences. I am so thankful for the support of my fans, loved ones and immediate family, who understand that i am trying hard, but also that I am a work in progress, just as anyone else. I am keeping my faith, and I am hopeful....Thank you all!!!"

Lindsay Lohan is rumoured to be in the line up to host the new season of Saturday Night Live!
If it's true, and the actress hosts the Dec. 4 show, it would be Lindsay's fourth time hosting the famous comedy skit program.
A spokesman for the show said, "We never comment on upcoming hosts until they're announced."
Lindsay would probably have to be prepared to star in some sketches poking fun at herself, although we don't think she'd have much of a problem with that considering the sketch she took part in with Chelsea Handler for the VMA's (check it out below).

Lindsay Lohan is apparently in talks to feature on Oprah.
The actress who was recently released from a court ordered stint in rehab is reportedly in negotiations to conduct her first interview after the experiance on the famous talk show.
A source said, "Things are heating up in a good way. Definitely some good conversations. We're crossing our fingers it works out for Oprah's last season."
Lindsay's spokesman stated that "nothing has been planned", but did not deny that negotiations were taking place.

Vanity Fair has released a behind-the-scenes video they recorded while shooting Lindsay Lohan for their Grace Kelly-themed September issue cover.
In it the actress does her thing for the camera, and talks about her reasons for doing Inferno and reminisces about the last time she was at the Ritz Carlton (when she was filming the hotel pool scene from The Parent Trap!). Watch it above.

Lindsay Lohan has given an interview to Vanity Fair, claiming that she is back on track and that she was "irresponsible".
In the interview, given a week before she went to prison and rehab, Lindsay insisted that she is a completely different person now.
She said, "I want my career back. I know that I'm a damn good actress, and it's been my passion since I was a child, and I know that when I care about something, I put 100 per cent and more into it."
Lindsay added, "And I'm not getting any younger. I want the respect that I had when I was doing great movies. And if that takes not going out to a club at night then so be it. It's not fun anyway. I don't care. It's the same thing every time."

Although she's been in prison and rehab for a bit, Lindsay Lohan's newest movie, Machete premièred in LA a few days ago, which also stars Jessica Alba.
The actress was obviously asked about her on the red carpet, and was extremely complimentary about her co-star!
Jessica said, "[Lindsay is] so good in this movie. I can't wait for everyone to see [her in] it."
The film's director Robert Rodriguez also praised her, saying the performance will remind people of her talent.
He said, "They'll see the actress behind all that paparazzi nonsense that follows her and won't leave her alone. They'll get to see her and say, 'Oh, that's right, that's why we follow her around.'"

Linsday Lohan is reportedly being offered $1 million to host a radio show with her mother Dina Lohan.
They're apprently being asked to host the morning show on New York-based station Party 105.
The company said in a statement, "We think that hosting a morning programme would be the perfect gig for Lindsay."
They added, "If Lindsay wants to take some time off from Hollywood and spend some much-needed R&R with her family but still needs to atone for her reported $600,000 (£385,470) in credit card debt, hosting Party 105's morning show would be an ideal way for the starlet to reconnect with her fans."
Unfortunately, Lindsay can't actually leave LA until November.

Well Lindsay Lohan's ordeal is over - she was released from rehab yesterday afternoon after completing 22 days of her 90-day program.
A source said that the 24-year-old is "doing really well" and is now in the facility's outpatient treatment programme, while Radar Online is reporting that she left the medical center in a chauffeur-driven car and called her mother Dina.
Well we're sure she'll let us all know how she is soon via her Twitter.

OK magazine has reportedly offered Lindsay Lohan $1 million for her first post-jail and rehab interview.
The actress is currently in a 90-day program at a rehab facility but is expected to be released before her full term is up.
Lindsay wouldn't be the first person to be paid such a large amount for a getting-out-of-jail interview: Paris Hilton was reportedly offered as much as $1 million from NBC for her first post-jail interview before that deal fell through and she appeared on Larry King Live, apparently without payment.

Watch out New York! Lindsay Lohan's mum Dina Lohan has revealed that her daughter will be moving to the city after she is released from rehab.
But then again, what do either of her parents know?
Dina told press (as usual), "She'll be coming back to New York. California is a wonderful state but it's a different game you play there, the court system is a little different."
Lindsay is currently completing a 3 month program in rehab, after her two week stint in jail.
