Lily Allen made a surprise appearance at Karl Lagerfeld's 'romp in the hay' themed Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week.
Lily was all glitz and feathers as she performed single 'Not Fair' at the show, backed by two models posing as backing singers. However, it looks like she still hasn't learnt how to get on in the playground, apparently banning fellow singer Katy Perry from attending the show.

Despite Lily Allen's recent claim that she's about to quit music, she's just lined up a tour with Dizzee Rascal.
Earlier this week the singer claimed on her blog that she hadn't renewed her contract with her record label and was thinking of quitting music for good.
However, her publicist was quick to deny these claims, and it looks she got her own way.
According the The Sun, the pair will be performing twice next March, and Manchester's MEN Arena and London's O2.

The rumour mill is going into overdrive (well, sort of) with news that Lily Allen is going to quit music. Lily posted a message on her blog on Thursday that she hadn't renegotiated her record contract and had 'no plans to make another record'.
However, her publicist was quick to wade in and deny this with a swift "Lily is not retiring from music.
''She is still promoting her current album which is why she said she is not thinking about her next record right now.''
Dear oh dear, looks like Lily and her spokesperson need to get their stories straight.

With boyfriend Alex Turner on tour with the rest of the Arctic Monkeys, it was down to Alexa Chung to play gooseberry in London the other night, as she went for dinner in Soho's Quo Vadis with Lily and Alfie Allen, Jaime Winstone and Sam Cooper.
Covered up in a chunky knit cardigan, Alexa looked marginally less skinny than late (even commenting on her Twitter status earlier in the week 'now eating pasta cos everyone keeps telling me i'm wasting away..def not a good look :(').
Not sure if couple's night panned out quite the way Alexa had hoped. Not only did she have to play gooseberry to the Allen siblings and their other halves, but the evening ended with Jaime Winstone getting arrested for drink driving (see below). We bet Alexa can't wait to hot-foot it back to the Big Apple.

Dear oh dear, Jaime Winstone ( sometime actress and daughter of Ray Winstone in case you were wondering), has been arrested for drink driving.
She was out in London's Soho with boyfriend Alfie Allen, his sister Lily and Alexa Chung. She was returning to her car when she was arrested and taken to Charing Cross police station.
The Metropolitan Police released the following statement: 'At approximately 12.15am a woman was arrested in Frith Street, Soho, on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol. The 24-year-old woman was taken to a central London police station and she was later released without further action."

Give it up Kate, you're never going to be on the X Factor. The model/booze hound attempted to impress Simon Cowell with her dulcet tones back in July on the Karaoke machine at London club Sketch, and now she's at it again.
According to the Daily Star, Kate's hooking up with pal Lily Allen (who's apparently forgiven her for GQ Awards-gate), and is planning to sing a duet for Simon at his 50th birthday party next month. They're deliberating between Lily's hit song Not Fair (which would be funnier), or a Marilyn Monroe-style rendition of Happy Birthday.
Looks like someone never quite got over their childhood ambition to be on Top Of The Pops...

Once she'd been spotted watching the Ashes, been interviewed by a cricket pundit and caused all sorts of a furore over her love of the ultimate gentleman's sport, Lily Allen was faced with no choice but to keep pretending she was really interested in cricket.
Snapped in a private box with Mick Jagger, Tim Rice and boyfriend Sam Cooper at a one day England vs Australia game at Lords, Lily manages to maintain her enthusiasm levels throughout the day.
She's still not entirely sure of the rules, but she's discovered that by standing up and cheering every time the ball makes a satisfying thwack against the bat, she looks like a seasoned pro.

That's another kick in the teeth for the suffragettes. Just months after Peaches Geldof announced that she was a good role model for young women, Lily Allen has said that she dreams of marrying a rich man so she can leave her high profile life behind and get sprogged up.
Despite creating a niche for herself penning jaunty tunes about modern women, Allen told the Daily Star "I just hope I can stay famous enough for a little bit so someone rich will marry me. That's all I really care about these days."
She then added, "people think I'm this super-confident person who's all for female empowerment but it's not true."

Lily Allen demonstrated that quirky Allen sense of humour (yes, the same sense of humour made Keith Allen think that Vindaloo would be a good title for a song), at the Ashes yesterday by wearing a beer hat.
Fortunately for Lily, the people she was sitting next to thought she was nothing short of hilarious, with her boyfriend Sam Cooper laughing particularly hard at her wacky antics. Mainly we're just pleased that she's stopped sobbing into web cameras and started having some fun...
