Lily Allen revealed during the filming of her reality show Lily Allen: From Riches To Rags, that she developed an eating disorder last year.
The singer confessed, "There was a point last summer where I had an eating disorder, I used to vomit after meals. It is not something I am proud of. But I tell you what, a lot of people used to come up to me and tell me how great I looked."
"And I was on the cover of every magazine with them saying, 'Lily is looking amazing - look how much weight she has lost'. I thought I looked good."
She explained, "It was great to try on clothes and walk out of the shop feeling a million dollars. When you have been a victim of people saying the complete opposite, you want more of it. But I wasn't happy, I really wasn't. I would like to be the skinniest, mini-est person in the world, but I know I can't do that without being unhappy. I like my food."

Lily Allen has apparently been offered a place on the judging panel of the UK X-Factor - and she said thanks Simon Cowell, but no thanks.
A source told The Sun, "Lily was flattered to get Simon's call. It's a big job and an honour to be asked. But she's not convinced."
They explained, "She has tried to take a step back from the limelight over the last six months and doesn't want to be thrust right back into the madness of the showbiz pantomime that comes with the show."
"She doesn't need the money or the hassle at this stage in her life. Maybe in a few years' time when circumstances change she will be more receptive," the source added.
Shame - Lily would be great don't you think? She'd double the number of people leaving the auditions crying.

Lily Allen has reportedly set a date for her wedding to builder fiancé Sam Cooper - they'll be marrying on June 11th!
But she won't be having a big fancy wedding with half of Hollywood in attendance - she's getting married near her house in the Cotswolds.
A friend said, "Lily doesn't want a huge showbiz wedding, she's simply not into all that any more. She and Sam are really happy and will marry near their Cotswolds home."
Lily has previously said of Sam: "Sam treats me differently. He's told me he'll look after me forever. That's what I've always wanted - someone to look after me."
"We've never had one argument and there's nothing about him that annoys me."

Jeeze, seems like Christmas is a time rife with engagements: Lily Allen has gotten engaged too!
Lily's boyfriend, Sam Cooper, proposed on Christmas Day, which they spent at a resort in Indonesia - that must be a nice to end to a horrible year for them after losing their baby.
A source said, "It has been a terrible time for Lily and Sam, but they are totally in love with one another."
"It all came out of the blue - but Lily was overwhelmed and they are both overjoyed. They can look to the future now."

Lily Allen's sister Sarah Owen has revealed to The Mirror that Lily is planning to try for a baby again in the New Year.
"Lily hasn't been in a great place, but she's getting there. It's been a long, hard road," she told them in an interview.
"She is in the country with her boyfriend and doing wholesome things. They're going to start trying [for a baby] in the New Year."
"New Year, new start," she continued. "Losing the baby has totally devastated her, she's still grieving. I didn't realise the impact something like this could have on someone, and as a sister it has been painful to watch.
"Lily won't let this stop her - she is absolutely determined to be a mum. This is what she wants more than anything in the whole wide world, more than her singing career. It's always been her dream."

Poor Lily Allen has been admitted back into hospital suffering from septicaemia following the loss of her baby six months into her pregnancy.
Her spokesman released a statement saying, "Lily Allen is back in hospital, where she is being treated for septicaemia. She is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve."
"Lily thanks everyone for their messages of support and again asks that she and partner Sam Cooper be left alone while she recovers."

Lily Allen has suffered a miscarriage six months into her pregnancy.
The singer was due to attend Elton John's Aids Ball on Saturday night but pulled out due to a 'viral infection', but it has now been revealed that she has in fact lost her baby.
Lily's spokesperson said, "it is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby."
Poor Lily.

Lily Allen has sent a very public message to her boyfriend revealed that she really wants to get married.
She told The Telegraph, "That's something you'll have to ask Sam. But yeah, I think I've been quite clear about what I'd like."
Lily also explained how being pregnant has affected what she thinks of her body shape.
She said, "The weird thing about being pregnant is that it seems to give people the licence to talk about your body shape and say things like, 'Wow you have got so big!' 'Thanks', I always say, I'm embracing it."
She added: "In the end my size has always been to do with my general state of mind. If I'm feeling good about my work and everything else in my life, I could be 17 stone and still feel beautiful."

Lily Allen has been talking about her baby - which if you hadn't heard is a boy!
Lily said, "The whole thing became a lot more real to me when I found out it was a boy. You start to think of names, and then you can go shopping, and it all feels like it's happening."
And she's been thinking names too - but don't worry, she won't naming him after fruit or anything.
She said: "I've got a really stupid list of names, but I'm not going to show you. But, no, we probably won't [use it]."
Lily added, "I think Sam is way too straight and traditional for that sort of thing. He'd get the piss taken out of him on the building site."
We're going to start accepting bets on 'Henry'.

Lily Allen has won damages after she sued French sports magazine So Foot for printing a made up interview with her in which she insulted Cheryl Cole and Victoria Beckham.
Lily's lawyer said today, "The second defendant [So Foot magazine] now accepts that the claimant [Allen] did not make the statements attributed to her in their magazine and that, contrary to their previous understanding of the position, no interview in fact ever took place."
According to The Guardian, the lawyers for So Foot added: "The second defendant [So Foot magazine] offers its sincere apologies to the claimant [Allen] for the damage, as well as the upset and embarrassment caused to her by the publication of the article."
