After what seems like months of teasing, Lady Gaga's Telephone video (featuring Beyonce) is finally here, and it really is an epic masterpiece. Look out for not-so-subtle Virgin Mobile plugs, a funny reference to the 'Lady Gaga has a penis' rumor, and Shania Twain's catsuit.
Beyonce has just released some images for her clothing line House of Deréon's, ad campaign, and there's something familiar about them...
Is it just us, or does Beyonce look JUST like Lady Gaga?
The fringe... the glasses... the spikes... the moody expression.
Seems like Gaga's style is catching (Oh God, no).
Or maybe she just rubbed off on Beyonce while they were filming the 10 minute video for Telephone (which is, FYI, apparently going to be released on Friday).
Lady Gaga has given an interview in which she talks about herself in the third person, and says she lives to serve her fans.
Yeah.
In the interview the singer refers to the "book of Gaga" and when asked if she thinks it is weird she talks about herself in the third person, said,
"No. Not if you're an artist, it's not. I talk about myself in the third person all the time. I don't live my life in the way someone like you does. I live my life completely serving only my work and my fans. And that way, I have to think about not what is best for my vagina but what is best for my fans and for me artistically."
Gaga also said "I want my fans to love themselves. It's almost like I want to hypnotize them so when they hear my music they love themselves instantly."
At the MAC Viva Glam charity launch in London yesterday Lady Gaga spoke about her wish to be a good role model to her 'little monsters'.
Gaga, who is a spokesperson for the MAC AIDS Fund's campaign (which donates 100 percent of its proceeds from the sale of lipstick and lip gloss to the global fight against AIDS and HIV), said;
"I find it so important now to be a role model and a figure. And I know that may sound strange to some people, but most important is my connection with my fans and the connection that they breed with one another."
The caring singer went on to say "I look out into the audience and I hear them singing my music and supporting me and I want to do everything I can to protect them because some of them are really troubled and insecure."
Aaah bless.
P.S. There are rumours the video for Lady Gaga's new single Telephone, featuring Beyonce, will be out on Monday!
Pantless fiend Lady Gaga has advised the female sex to choose their career over men.
Gaga told Cosmopolitan magazine she has had her fair share of men, saying "I wanted to sleep with as many rock and roll guys as I could. And I've certainly had my fun."
But the singer, who also recently revealed a boyfriend told her (in one of the best 'Famous Last Words' scenarios of all time) she would never make it, told the magazine she advised women to think of themselves before a guy.
She said "Some women choose to follow men, and some women choose to follow their dreams. If you're wondering which way to go, remember that your career will never wake up and tell you that it doesn't love you anymore."
Good advice we think.
Meanwhile SuperGaga was out and about in the early hours of yesterday morning in this superhero-esque outfit, accessorised with a black visor shaped mask, ripped fishnets and a small video camera on her shoulder...
While performing her Monsterball in Liverpool on Wednesday, Lady Gaga managed to top almost every weird-but-amazing outfit she's ever worn with this 'living dress'.
By living we mean that it actually moved. Before the show Gaga tweeted,
"2nite Haus of Gaga debuts "the living dress" inspired by Hussein Chalayan, as a fashion moment to be performed in "pop show" at Monsterball.Watch very closely as the magical angel and I are swallowed by the rainbow twister, and left stranded on the Glitter Way."
No, I know, I don't understand either, but watch the video above to see what we mean.
Lady Gaga has told Cosmopoliton that her ex-boyfriend told her that she would never make it in the music industry.
"I had a boyfriend who told me I'd never succeed, never be nominated for a Grammy, never have a hit song, and that he hoped I'd fail," she said. "I said to him, 'Someday when we're not together, you won't be able to order a cup of coffee at the f**king deli without hearing or seeing me'."
Well, she definitely showed him. Wonder if he has tickets to the Monsterball?
Armani have just released these sketches of two of Lady Gaga's dramatic costumes for her Monsterball tour.
The pieces - an insect-like green segmented body suit with a lobster effect on one sleeve, which comes with matching sunglasses that seem to have antennae on them, and a sparkly, blue, structured body suit with enhanced curved shoulders - are just two more creations Georgio Armani has made for Gaga: he made her no less then five outfits for this years Grammy awards.
And it seems the singer has another fan in Mr. Armani, who said;
"We hear Lady Gaga's music everywhere we go, it is like a soundtrack of our times. In addition to her formidable songwriting skills, she is a modern fashion phenomenon."
Lady Gaga is the cover star of Q magazine this month, which contains an interview that took place a few weeks before she was hospitalized for exhaustion.
In an excerpt of the interview we see a different side to her normal confidence when Gaga walks out crying after not liking any of the images.
"Soon her invincible demeanour dissolves. "I'm stressed..." She retreats to her dressing room, only to mere minutes later in tears and wearing enormous shades..."
"She says she has to leave and hopes the shoot can be rescheduled. "I'm just not in a good place right now."'
