Well, Smurfette if you want to be technical - Katy Perry will be making her first foray into acting as he only female Smurf in the new film, Smurfs: The Movie.
The I Kissed A Girl singer will be lending her voice to the small blue creature from the 1980s cartoon for a live-action/CGI hybrid movie.
How I Met Your Mother actor Neil Patrick Harris will also star as the lead live action character and voicing characters alongside Katy will be Alan Cumming, George Lopez and Jonathan Winters, who was the voice of Papa Smurf in the series.

Despite the many opportunities for an untimely wardrobe malfunction, Katy Perry looked ravishing at the Post-Grammy party at the W Hotel. Wearing a plunging mermaid dress that left precious little to the imagination, all she needed was a bit more uplift (and an entire roll of 'modesty tape') to make the dress a success.
Continuing the latest trend for backless and nude, Katy's blush-hued gown ticked the right boxes, with a heavy shower of sequins to make it truly spectacular. Asked about their wedding plans, Katy and fiancé Russell Brand were tight-lipped with Russell joking, 'We are going to do the wedding naked!'

Arriving in L.A following their romantic holiday, Katy Perry and Russell Brand look the picture of celebrity coupledom. Yes, in accordance to the rule book, they are perfectly matching with bedraggled inky black locks, dark rock star shades and his-n-hers knitwear in varying shades of grey.
Also in attendance was The Engagement Ring and a brace of pregnancy rumours. Brand proposed to Perry with a Cartier diamond ring in India on new year's eve and the couple are in L.A. to show off the rock to 25-year-old Katy's family in California.

It's true! Russell Brand's team have confirmed the rumours that he is engaged to Katy Perry. The couple have only been dating since September when they met at the MTV Awards but in true celebrity style, just can't wait to fast track to wedded bliss.
Katy's people also confirmed the news that the couple got engaged six days ago on their recent trip to India. According to The Sun, Brand said, 'Katy's managed to tame me. This is it -- I'm completely in love.'
Ah sweet, let's hope it's forever, eh?

Looks like Russell Brand decided to put a ring on Katy Perry after just three months together. According to the Sunday Mirror, the comedian asked the singer to marry him last week during her visit to the UK.
A source told the paper: " Russell knows Katy's the one for him. He's never been into a girl like he has with her and they're besotted. He asked her to marry him last week and she quickly said yes.
"They don't know when the wedding will be but they are planning to make it in 2010 if the schedules can work."
Russell is apparently now on the hunt for an engagement ring to present to Miss Perry on New Year's eve...

Katy Perry has hit back at rumours that she's dating Robert Pattinson, and took the opportunity to bang on about how in love she is with Russell Brand. Again, some more.
The pair were spotted together at a party in Los Angeles, and were even seen leaving together. However, Katy posted an outright denial of any wrongdoing on her Twitter page: "Read a bunch of yesterdays-news-BULLOCKS," she wrote.
"Ppl should know by now that I don't do vampires, but I do, DO @rustyrockets. Don't get it TWISTED!"
Katy's also been spotted wrapped around Russell at various locations across London in the past few days, just to make sure we get the message THAT SHE'S GOING OUT WITH RUSSELL BRAND.
