KateWatch #4: Kate Middleton's hair becomes the new 'Rachel'

kate_middleton_boots.jpgKateWeddingWatch here again, and today we're hearing that The People of New York have fallen in love with Kate Middleton's hair.

The BBC is reporting that New Yorker's are asking for Kate's hair in salon the same way we all asked for Jennifer Aniston's 'Rachel' from Friends.

Stylist Kelsy Osterman told the BBC dozens of women have been coming in and asking for a Kate Middleton cut.

He said, "People get really inspired by all these big beautiful photos of her and I think the one thing they can try to obtain of that beautiful look is the hair. There could have been 20 women in a day that ask for it."

Wow. So again, we direct you to Kiss and Makeup's guide to getting Kate's hair here!

KateWatch #3: Once, Kate went out wearing bunny ears

kate_middleton_boots.jpgIt's KateWeddingWatch again, and today brings the news that three years ago, Kate Middleton went to a club wearing bunny ears (gasp, etc).

The incident occurred when Kate and Prince William were On A Break and Kate went off to a party at a club to celebrate the release of a documentary about the Rampant Rabbit (how very unroyal), clearly, as the tabloids put it, to Show Him What He Was Missing.

Unfortunately we don't actually HAVE these pictures, but if you could just imagine Kate wearing some in the other picture on the left, that would be great, thanks.

Or you can see them here if you must (but that means you have no imagination).

KateWatch #2: Kate Middleton wears some boots

kate_middleton_boots.jpgWell it's Day Two of KateWeddingWatch and we bring you the news that yesterday, Kate went out in the snow in some black boots.

As you can see, Kate wore her boots with black tights and a black coat.

The Daily Mail wants everyone to know that Kate has worn these boots on a few occasions, which is very exciting I'm sure you'll agree.

Also look how shiny her hair is - if you're staring in jealousy too, there's a guide on how to get Kate's shiny hair over on Kiss and Makeup here.

Kate Middleton Watch #1: The Peacocks 'Kate' Dress

!cid_image003_jpg@01CB9200.jpgSuch is the obsession with Kate Middleton right now, we've decided to start KateWeddingWatch: bringing you all, and we do mean all, the Kate Middleton news.

We've had the engagement ring copy, and now we've got another blue dress copy - come December 20th Peacocks will be selling the 'Kate' dress, which will retail for just £14.

They're expecting (rightly) that the dress will be an instant sell out, so if you want to get your hands on one, Peacocks' Customer Service has set up the 'Waity Katie" waiting list.

And if you can't get a dress, there'll be a higher distribution of the piece in Wales in honour of Kate's future title, Princess of Wales, so maybe you and some friends can go on a Kate Middleton road trip (if you do, please let us know and send pictures).

Bruce Oldfield to design Kate Middleton's wedding dress?

kate_middleton_prince_william_engaged.jpgWe may have discovered who Kate Middleton has chose to design her gown for her wedding to Prince William - Paddy Power have stopped taking bets on it because of so many people put massive bets on it being Bruce Oldfield.

A spokesman told Vogue, "Sometimes this kind of betting comes from people taking an educated guess, but sometimes it is the result of a leak."

"We were taking bets of £500 or more so it could be a leak."

"The wedding is in April, so someone knows what dress she is wearing. I suppose we will just have to wait to see on the 29th."

Bruce has designed wedding gowns for Samantha Cameron and Jemima Khan in the past.

Kate Middleton to wear Ultimo?

kate_middleton_prince_william_engaged.jpgMichelle Mone, founder of Ultimo lingerie, revealed that she's designed Kate Middleton's bridal lingerie.

The glamorous entrepreneur paid a visit to Buckingham Palace yesterday to receive an OBE. Michelle admitted that she's had some designs made for the to-be princess and is planning on sending them to her.

We don't envy Kate Middleton on her wedding day choices, and The Royal Wedding does seem to have increased the competition in the fashion world. British designers everywhere are poised with needle and thread, names including ISSA, Jenny Packham, Alice Temperley and bookies' favourite Phillippa Lepley are all in the running to create the most iconic dress of the decade... so no pressure. Which designer do you think Kate will go for?

Kate Middleton's see-through dress could sell for £100,000

Kate-Middleton.jpgThe sheer see-through dress that Kate Middleton was wearing when Prince William first set his eyes on her could now be worth £100,000.

The Prince first saw his future bride as she walked down the catwalk for charity in the risqué dress, which was designed by fashion student Charlotte Todd.

The silk dress which cost just £30 to make and showed off Kate's underwear has been in then designer mother's wardrobe since 2002.

Charlotte has already turned down an offer of £1,000 for the ensemble but auctioneer's predict once Kate and William marry the dress could soar up to £100,000.

prince_william_kate_middleton_engagement_ring.jpgKate Middleton and Prince William will marry in April 2011, it is being reported.

Clarence House is expected to confirm the date of the wedding very soon, but we're hearing whispers that the biggest royal wedding since Charles and Diana's could be happening on April 28th.

As for the venue, Kate was seen at Westminister Abbey last week, leading to speculation that the ceremony may take place there (even though that was also where Princess Diana's funeral was held).

We will, of course, let you know!
