Remember we told you a while ago that the dress Kate Middleton wore during that fashion show at St Andrews was being auctioned?
Well the sheer dress which first attracted Prince WIlliam to Kate back in 2002 ("Wow, Fergus. Kate's hot!" ) has sold at auction for a massive £65,000.
The dress was bought by a 'Nick' from Jersey who reportedly "thinks it's an iconic piece and is very happy with the purchase."
The dress' designer Charlotte Todd said, "I never imagined as I sat knitting this piece it would be so important."
Or that it would earn her so much money!

Hurry though - there's only 5000 available! You can pre-order yours here.
But if you wait till April, you can get one wearing her wedding dress instead. Oh the decisions.

Kate Middleton and Prince William attended their first royal engagement as a betrothed couple yesterday - they went to christen a ship, as you do.
Even though it was supposed to be the hottest day of the year so far (which isn't saying much) Kate wrapped up in a warm spring ensemble of Katherine Hooker coat (the Daily Mail helpfully pointed out that she's had it for five years), brown scarf, gloves, tights and Russell and Bromley boots, an LK Bennet clutch and a feather fascinator by Vivien Sheriff of Wiltshire (who we're sure is extremely happy Kate felt like wearing feathers yesterday).

All that speculation on who would be designing Kate Middleton's dress for her wedding to Prince William has died down now - most people are convinced that Bruce Oldfield is a dead cert - but we know who it definitely won't be: Dame Vivienne Westwood.
The Queen of British fashion was asked about the rumours that Kate would be using her and she flatly denied them, in the blunt style that we love her for.
Vivienne said, "I would have loved to have dressed Kate Middleton but I have to wait until she kind of catches up a bit somewhere with style."
Ouch!
The designer added, "Sorry, I'm not going to say any more, that's it. When people ask me where she's going to get the dress from - she's definitely not going to get it from me."
Lucky Vivienne's already got a Damehood right? Can they take those away?

Kate Middleton and Prince William's wedding invites and guest list have been revealed!
There it is above, all gold embossing and white. What do you think? Simple, but gets the point across right?
And most importantly, who made the guest list? Well you might be surprised to learn that David and Victoria Beckham will be there - can't wait to see how she dresses for that in her pregnant state (dress code is "uniform, morning coat or lounge suit")!
Also rumoured to be invited are Sir Elton John (although he had claimed he hadn't heard anything, but he is a Sir...) and Joanna Lumley.
Have you got your invite? We have it on authority that ours is in the post.

The dress that launched a royal fairytale is being auctioned!
Who could have foretold that when Kate Middleton set off down a catwalk wearing nothing but black underwear and a see through bit of silk, she would cause our Prince William to apparently tell his friend "Wow, Fergus. Kate's hot!" (LOL), and cement her place as future queen?
No-one, but here we are.
Anyway the dresses designer, Charlotte Todd has put it up for auction. She said, "I don't know whether Kate was given it to wear or whether she chose it. If it was her idea to wear it as a dress, she was very brave. I can't imagine her doing it now - it would be frowned upon."
Charlotte added, "But I wonder whether she was trying to get his attention with it, whether she said, 'I'll have that, so that I can bag the Prince'."
We'll never know! Kate's dress goes up for auction at La Galleria on Pall Mall on March 17 at 2pm. See here for more info!

Today the palace announced that Prince Harry has been chosen to be Prince William's Best Man at his wedding to Kate Middleton in just two months!
How time flies.
Harry said when the engagement was first announced, "I am delighted that my brother has popped the question! It means I get a sister, which I have always wanted."
This means he gets to plan the stag night, which I'm sure he's even more delighted about. That is going to be wild.
It was also announced that Kate has asked her sister Pippa Middleton to be her maid of honour, and her bridesmaids will be Prince William's cousin Lady Louise Windsor, the Hon Margarita Armstrong-Jones, who is the daughter of Viscount and Viscountess Linley, the Duchess of Cornwall's granddaughter Eliza Lopes, and William's goddaughter Grace van Cutsem.

Royal aides confirmed yesterday that Kate Middleton has quit her job at her parents conmpany, Party Pieces, to focus on planning her wedding.
The aid said, "She has handed over her work to colleagues and is now preparing for her future life."
To those who wonder why she doesn't just get a wedding planner, her role at Party Pieces included website design, photography, marketing and events organising, so she basically is one.
And apparently it's all for us - Kate wants The People of Britain to be as happy on their wedding day as she is. An insider said, "They don't want the world to be sick of their wedding before they become husband and wife. To them it is very important for people on the day to feel they are a part of something which is fresh and new."
