Despite the rumours that she was rejected because of her diva-ish demands, it has been confirmed that Jennifer Lopez will be a judge on American Idol!
The singer signed a $12 million deal to join Randy Jackson and Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler at the judges' table.
The last time we'd heard Jen's name in relation to American Idol, sources were saying that she was no longer under consideration for the show.
A source said, "Her demands got out of hand. Fox had just had enough."
We guess that goes to show, you shouldn't believe everything you read!

Jennifer Lopez has discovered the pitfalls of motherhood - having no time for yourself.
The actress, singer and mother to twins Max and Emme said, "I don't really believe mothers have time for themselves. It's always on your mind, even when you are trying to relax and get away - it's just one of the absolute facts of being a mother."
However Jennifer says that on a film set she finds it easier to concentrate on other things.
"That's when I have time to concentrate on what I'm doing, but as far as leisure time, mothers don't get that - it's just part of the deal."
Never mind Jen - we're sure you have a nanny or 3.

Jennifer Lopez was seemingly poking fun at the reports of her diva behaviour pushing her out of the running for a spot on the American Idol judging table yesterday by posting a picture of her extensive diamond collection online.
The singer posted the photo on twitter with the caption, "Hmmm... what should I wear today?" showing her impressive jewellery collection and a feathered hat.
Obviously her husband Marc Anthony is a very generous man!
It's nice Jennifer has a sense of humour, but if she gets robbed she only has herself to blame.

Infamous diva Jennifer Lopez is reportedly 'out' as a judge on American Idol after her demands got too much for the show.
The singer was thought to be a strong contender to grab one of the judging spots at the revamped shows table, along with Steven Tyler, but is apprently no longer being considered for the job by show producers.
A source said, "Her demands got out of hand. Fox had just had enough."

Jennifer Lopez has been announced as the newest judge on the American Idol judging table.
The Latino singer's music career has been on hold lately since she was dropped from her record label, Sony, and her last film, erm... was... was... anyway.
Jen's been lined up to replace Ellen Degeneres on the panel, who has left the show after just one season.
She will join Randy Jackson on the table, and possibly Steven Tyler, who is rumoured to be replacing Simon Cowell.

Jennifer Lopez is not happy with the 13 (yes, 13) fragrances she has already released and so is launching a new one!
What is it about celebrities and perfume?! This one is called Love & Glamour.
But we feel sorry for the manufacturers - according to the actress herself, designing a perfume for her is an ardous task!
She said, "I drive them a little bit crazy because it's always not signature enough. I go back and say things like, 'Can we push the sandalwood a little bit more, can we make a tiny bit more sexy?'"
She adds, "And then I think we are in the right direction. And then they come with one or two variations and I say, 'No, that's not it.' It's a long process."

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have renewed their wedding vows!
The couple, who have now been married for six years, held the ceremony to celebrate their anniversary. Marc told press, "We realised the bets in Vegas [on whether we'd last] stopped at five years, so we're really looking forward to this one. This is a big anniversary."
And now the really important part: details of the party. There was a black, brown and white colour scheme and the garden featured various outdoor lounge areas with Regency couches, lamps, mirrors and tables.
There was also a bar decorated with black martini glasses and calla lilies and orchids in vases, and the swimming pool was decorated with hurricane candles.
We wish we were there.

Oh, celebrities. If they aren't getting married after a 2-day whirlwind romance, they're renewing their wedding vows. This week: Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony re-tie the knot.
The couple, who got married in 2004, and then renewed their vows in 2008, are planning to do it all again in a big ceremony on June 5 at their Hidden Hills, California estate.
Marc explained, "We realized the bets in Vegas (on whether their marriage would last) stopped at five years, so we're really looking forward to this one. This is a big anniversary."

Jennifer Lopez performed at the 2010 World Music Awards in Monte Carlo earlier this week and apparently lived up to her reputation as a demanding diva.
The pop star and actress allegedly demanded a helicopter to be 'on stand-by' at the venue, a custom-fitted speed boat furnished with faux leather seats and a champagne fridge, and a pair of £3,000 diamond encrusted headphones.
Diamond encrusted headphones? Why?
And that's not all - Jennifer also asked for a private floor of her 5-star hotel, an on-call masseuse, a 12-strong hair and make-up team and her very own private stretch of coastline.

Jennifer Lopez topped off her promotional tour of Europe with a trip to London yesterday for the premiere of her new film, The Back-Up Plan.
Jennifer arrived in Leicester Square wearing what appeared to be a bin liner - in fact it looked a lot like my Halloween costume a few years ago (I was a raisin) - but was actually a Lanvin Spring creation.
The actress also rocked a beehive type hairstyle, that gorgeous Lanvin necklace and black satin Ferragamo heels.
