Jennifer Lopez has confirmed that she has parted ways with her record label Sony.
The singer confirmed that she is no longer signed to Sony, but insisted that she will release her new album Love with a new label.
She said, "I have belonged to the Sony family since the beginning of my career as a singer and together we've had great success."
"I have fulfilled my contractual responsibilities with Sony/Epic up to this point, and we have both reached friendly terms about my departure from the label."
Jenny From The Block added that she has already been signed to a new label and her new album, Love, will be released in the summer of 2010.

Kim Kardashian, of the Kardashians, launched her new fragrance at Sephora yesterday.
Yes that's right, another celebrity perfume.
As I'm sure we are all aware, the world has been severely lacking in celebrity perfumes - after all Jennifer Lopez hasn't released one for a while.
Kim arrived at the launch in a slinky, black cut-out dress with a draped, ruched skirt that showed off her considerable curves, and posed with her bottle. A lot.

Catherine Zeta Jones is in big trouble with PETA.
The organisation has called her out on her love of fur by crowning the 41-year old Welsh actress the 'Biggest Fashion Offender' on its annual 'Worst Dressed' list. The organisation said "With her creepy cow-skin pants, ugly fox coat, and icky alligator bag, Catherine Zeta-Jones looks like she's working her way through Noah's ark with a knife,"
Also featuring on the list is Jennifer Lopez, Kate Hudson and Jessica Simpson, of whose outfits PETA said "all resemble her career - dead." Ouch.

Love it or hate it, there's no denying that J-Lo's eye-catching catsuit certainly grabs attention. First seen at a New Years Eve performance where it received mixed reviews (to put it kindly), the glitzy all-in-one was allowed another airing at Saturday's pre-Superbowl performance in a Miami nightclub.
While the catsuit doesn't get my vote, I have to say I'm behind the bootees one hundred per cent. Let's see more of the studded Louboutins and less of the sausage-skin catsuit next time, eh J-Lo?

After Jennifer Lopez's smokin' hot outfit on New Years Eve, can you blame her for wanting to slip into something more comfortable? Call us old fashioned but we much prefer her looking luscious in this printed jersey dress than in the nearly-naked catsuit.
Jen and husband Marc Anthony were snapped at a Miami Dolphins football game at the weekend - no surprise since they have a stake in the Dolphins. We do think it's sweet that La Lopez engineered her outfit to colour-coordinated with the team colours, it beats a baseball cap any day.

Only Jennifer Lopez could get away with turning up to an American football game dressed in a denim catsuit and kitten heels.
She was attending the Miami Dolphins game with husband Marc Anthony - the pair have a private box at the grounds and a minority stake in the team. Marc, meanwhile, was doing his best to out-diva his wife with several inches of chest hair on display at all times. Nice.

A judge has ruled against the releasing of an alleged sex tape featuring Jennifer Lopez and her first husband Ojani Noa.
No amount of rebranding as J Lo or Lola or whatever would be able to get Jennifer out of that particular tight spot, as the video, entitled How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J.Lo and Ojani Noa Story, apparently features 11-plus hours of private home videos of Lopez "in a revealing lack of clothing, and in sexual situations, especially in the hotel room from (her and Noa's) honeymoon," according to court documents.
The judge has agreed to keep the movie out of the public eye until a further hearing on Tuesday when the injunction may be made permanent. That said, Jennifer's always had an entrepreneurial spirit, if things don't go her way she can always do a Paris Hilton and try and get some profit out of the whole thing...

Jennifer Lopez revealed her new persona Lola at the launch of her new video for 'Fresh out of the Oven' in Florida.
We're uncertain as to exactly how Lola differs from bog standard J-Lo, but she was certainly very shiny in a sequined dress complete with (Michael Jackson inspired?) elbow length glove.
However, despite all of this, we're still none the wiser as to who Lola actually is - answers on a postcard please. Or Jennifer, if you'd like to clarify, feel free.

Jennifer Lopez is looking rather pleased with herself at the moment - she's possibly revelling in her new persona, Lola. Yes, that's right, on the back of Beyonce's Sasha Fierce, the one they used to call J-Lo has released a new single under the name Lola and launched a Twitter account and website with the teaser 'Who is Lola?'
We're never sure what's behind this A-lister obsession with creating whole new character for themselves - is it a cynical marketing ploy or merely an indicator of a multiple personality disorder? Either way, Lola certainly suits Jennifer, she looks great in the blue dress!
Mark Anthony, on the other hand, looks less than happy with recent developments. Perhaps someone's just discreetly told him that no-one actually unbuttons their shirt to their navel these days...

Jennifer Lopez is not only from the block, she's been around it too - the singer/actress hit the big 4-0 last week.
She's got things sussed, though; whereas her namesake Jennifer Aniston hit the decade earlier this year with a toyboy at her side, J-Lo will feel eternally young with Marc Anthony on her arm... He's surely got the combined age of Mr Burns and Skeletor...
Let's hope the birthday girl didn't have the public humiliation of having to feed him when they stepped out for a celebratory meal at the weekend.
