She said, "Being in Girls Aloud was a bit like being on holiday with people that you swear you'll keep in touch with when you get back and then, you don't.
Nadine added, "At the end of the day, I would say we were more colleagues than friends."

Sorry Girls Aloud fans, but the chances of them releasing another album are not looking good - Nicola Roberts has just signed a solo deal with Universal.
A source said, "Everyone's so excited about Nicola releasing her own album."
"She's very quietly been recording in the studio for the last few months. She's working with some great people and coming up with some great stuff."
The source added, "She's being guided by a lot of people who have been involved with Girls Aloud in the past so it's going to be a great record."

Kimberley Walsh has made her first solo appearance on rapper Aggro Santos's new single Like You Like.
You might recognize him from his last song with Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt, Candy.

Kimberley Walsh has put her two cents in about Rihanna's well publilisced decision to miss best friend Katy Perry's wedding due to her work commitments.
The Girls Aloud singer wrote in her column for OK! magazine, "Katy Perry says she's forgiven runaway bridesmaid Rihanna for not showing up to her wedding... I don't think I would!"
Kimberley continued, "I'm not an unreasonable person and if there was a really good reason then you might understand, but it's such an important day and if your bridesmaid didn't show it would be horrible. She said she had work commitments but for me, friends come first and if I was a bridesmaid for one of my friends there wouldn't be any work that would come in the way."
At least Kim won't have to worry about angering two of the most powerful women in music right now - they probably don't know who she is.

Kimberley Walsh has revealed that she never thought her Girls Aloud bandmate Nadine Coyle would ever get married, and was surprised when she heard she was engaged.
Kimberley told OK! magazine, "I never really saw her [getting married]."
She added, "We always joked about it. I was always like, 'You're never going to get married'."
And it looks like the reporter tried to ask her about the suspected rift between Nadine and the rest of the girls... which Kimberley wasn't happy with.
She said, "Oh my God, I'm so over it. There's nothing to say."

Reports are floating around that Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle have settled their differences and cleared the air after weeks of press attention on their relationship.
The ever-present 'friend' told Closer, "Nadine was sick of the fighting and said it had been going on for too long, so she made the first move after seeing pictures of the rest of the band together at The X Factor."
They explained, "All the other girls were invited to Cheryl's house, but they couldn't make it so it was just Cheryl and Nadine. It was awkward at first, but Cheryl couldn't have been more welcoming."
"They both had a lot to say. But after a few hours they both admitted things had been totally blown out of proportion."

Kimberley looked absolutely stunning in this bright coral strapless gown - the neckline and bodice give her an amazing shape and we're loving that she wore her Remembrance Day Poppy as a corsage on her waist.
Annnd Sarah wore a nude lace mini dress with glittery peep toe pumps.

Cheryl Cole was outdressed by her Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts at the Pride of Britain Awards last night.
Nicola looked amazing wearing a William Tempest nude 'siren devore' dress with long sleeves, which coordinated very well with her hair and skin tone and topped it off with clear glitter ankle strap heels and a black clutch.
Cheryl on the other hand wore a boring black dress with a slit and black shoes. Meh.

Nadine Coyle has revealed that she isn't surprised that her bandmate Cheryl Cole's single beat hers in the music charts this week (Promise This was number two after her number one last week, and Nadine was left "absolutely gutted" when Insatiable placed at... 26).
Nadine said, "The truth is, I knew I could never take on Cheryl. She has all the power of The X Factor and Simon Cowell behind her. It's a massive advantage."
The singer admitted, "I would totally love to have someone like Simon in my camp - who wouldn't? He can make big things happen and he has the whole music business under his control."
But Nadine doesn't care - she says: "To be honest, I'm happier doing what I'm doing now, no matter what the sales are like. I'd rather be singing in pubs for 50 quid a night and be happy than doing something that I wasn't really interested in or passionate about."

Nadine Coyle has revealed that she's planning on having a long engagement to her fiancé Jason Bell - she even says the wedding could be 10 years away!
"It will definitely be a long engagement," she said. "We haven't even had an engagement party. I'm going to ride this one out. It still feels so new, so we could do this for ten or 12 years, you know!"
Nadine also revealed some details about when Jason popped the question, saying, "He got down on two knees, not one knee because he had played football for a while so he was all banged up."
She explained: "I just got back from London and he was in New York and he surprised me with a ring and stuff, while I was in my pyjamas! If I had known I would have had a blow-dry or at least had a manicure or something!"
