Get the look: Celebs go retro at Coachella 2013

After seeing the Forties, Fifties and Sixties come alive on the catwalks this season, it was only a matter of time before the celebrities started to work a little vintage inspiration into their wardrobes! At the most fashionable festival of the year, Coachella, our favourite fashion conscious celebs ensured they looked their best in the Californian sunshine as they attended pool side parties, listened to great music, and generally had a blast hanging out with fellow celebrity pals. It may be hot and sweaty, but somebody has to do it, right?

pixie geldof outfit coachella 2013 Esther Williams cherry print swimsuit £59.95, House of Holland 'Glassy' sunglasses £180, Topshop nail varnish in Lacquered £5, And Mary key and heart padlock necklace £5.

First up was Pixie Geldof, who looked AMAZING lounging by the pool at the House Of Holland party in an Esther Williams swimsuit alongside London pals Nick Grimshaw, Jaime Winstone and Alexa Chung. This might just be my favourite photo of Pixie ever; she radiates happiness and the cherry print swimsuit really suits her style and her shape. Featuring a halter neck, gathered sides, ruching across the tummy and a skirted front, this is one piece of retro swimwear that would look great on a range of women - we're definitely hovering over the shopping basket right now! Pixie teamed her £59.95 costume with gold jewellery, a matching red manicure and a pair of super shades (by friend and designer Henry Holland, obvs).

jessie ware coachella 2013 Kelly Brook gingham bralet £22.99, ASOS midi skirt in bold stripe £24, Accessorize large twist hoop earrings £5.

Songstress and fashionista Jessie Ware also caught our eye as she took to the stage in this fabulous Louis Vuitton-esque 50's style ensemble! Performing at the festival, Jessie wore two outfits both consisting of high waisted skirts and cropped tops/bralets, which the star admitted to favouring during an interview with Radio.com. Speaking about what she prefers to wear on stage, the 28-year-old singer said, "The style for the shows has been a crop top because I have a relatively flat stomach and it may not always be flat, so I hide the bits that I don't like and I show the bits that I don't mind." Sounds like woman after our own hearts! It can be difficult to mix similar-but-not-from-the-same-set prints, but quirky Jessie pulls it off, finishing off the look with cute bunches, gold hoops and bare feet.

Shop her style: The Saturdays Mollie King

Celebrity or not, everyone has their favourite brands; the ones that sit at the heart of our wardrobes and provide us with everyday staple pieces or go-to outfits that never fail to make us feel comfortable and look good at the same time. For The Saturdays Mollie King, it looks as though LOVE could be one such label. The gorgeous 25-year-old singer has been spotted wearing a number of their stylish pieces recently; she may be a front row regular at Fashion Week, but Molls still knows how to shop for a high street bargain!

MollieKingstyle2013.jpg

The style savvy Saturday was spotted shopping a few weeks ago in the LA sunshine (where the girls have been filming their hit reality show, Chasing The Saturdays) wearing a navy polka dot dress that has been so popular it's already sold out and been restocked twice! With its swing style and tie back, the cute printed dress is the perfect choice for a sunny laid back afternoon - Mollie finished off her understated-cool look with tan heels, matching tan bag and wayfarer style sunglasses.

Hurry - you can get 20% off Mollie's dress right now! Enter code Mollie20 at the checkout (offer ends midnight 27th March)

Shopping with Taylor Swift, Rita Ora and Bella Thorne

It's Friday afternoon; the perfect excuse for a spot of celebrity shopping (as if we ever need one). Let's take a look at who's been wearing what this week shall we?

taylorswiftcatears22.jpg Images: @RitaOra, @marykitchen, Taylor Swift Vevo

Singer Rita Ora - who's currently trekking the globe with her highly anticipated Radioactive tour - took time out of her busy schedule to go for a dip in the hotel pool in an amazing Cheetah print one piece by We Are Handsome. Retailing at £195, it's definitely on the pricey side, but in our opinion it's OSO-worth it; we've fallen head over heels for the brands photographic animal print swimsuits.

We Are Handsome cheetah scoop one piece £195 >>

Next on our list is Disney starlet Bella Thorne, who attended the premiere of Spring Breakers in LA last night in a rose print dress from Topshop. The 15-year-old actress looked extremely pretty (and also age appropriate) in the lantern shaped number, which she teamed with milkmaid braids and two tone studded heels. Looks like the younger celebs are loving our favourite British brand across the pond!

Topshop rose print lantern dress £65 >>

Last but by no means least, Taylor Swift released the video for her ridiculously catchy single, 22 (seriously, we've been singing it in the office all week) and we haven't been able to stop obsessing over her accessories. Our personal faves are the embellished cat ears she wears throughout the last section of the vid, which the Internet seems to think are from ASOS, but I have a sneaky suspicion that they're actually this pair from Urban Outfitters US. If you can't face shipping costs, you can get an exact copy from Topshop in the sale for £3.50 - bargain!

Whilst you contemplate which pieces to put in your shopping basket, here's Taylor's video
*WARNING* this will be in your head all day long.

Myleene Klass launches first swimwear collection

Celebrity designer, classical singer, presenter and yummy mummy Myleene Klass has launched her first swimwear collection for Littlewoods.com. Following the success of her womenswear and lingerie lines for the online retailer, it was only a matter of time before the gorgeous brand ambassador added swimwear to her repertoire - after all, who could forget the image of her in the "I'm a Celebrity" jungle wearing *that* white bikini?!

myleeneklassswimwearcollection2013.jpg

Myleene hosted a pool party/fashion show at The Haymarket hotel in London to showcase her 25 piece collection, with the help of some gorgeous models (sporting immense bouffants) and a group of synchronised swimmers (swimming in heels = ultimate beach chic!) Designed to reflect and complement every woman's shape, there were a variety of styles on offer, including bandeau shapes, halter necklines, triangle cups and glam cover ups in bold block colours, leopard and Hawaiian prints - the whole collection from dresses to bikinis has a very retro vibe which will certainly go down well with vintage loving fashionistas this year.

Speaking excitedly about her latest venture, Myleene said "After my 'white bikini', I'm forever being asked to give away my bikini secrets so here goes. Swimwear that fits and flatters you like underwear does, is how to look and feel confident on holiday. Try one of my vibrant, eye catching bikinis in the privacy of your own home and you'll see what I mean. I've modelled and worn bikinis for my job for the last 12 years so trust me I know what works...and THAT'S the Littlewoods touch!"

Steal their style: Stylish celebrity mums

With Mothers Day on the horizon and the buzz around high profile pregnancies at the moment (what will Kimye do next?! When will the Duchess of Cambridge wear a maternity dress?!) I thought it was about time to honour some of OSOBlogs favourite celebrity mums.

Even A-Listers need a little help when it comes to being a parent (we've heard rumours of Victoria Beckham in Spanx and Jessica Alba hiding baby sick under scarves), so the next time these women make it look easy as they walk through airports/to school gates/to the playground looking as gorgeous as they do on the red carpet, try not to hate them too much; remember they work hard, play hard, and love their kids too.

celebritymums2013.jpg

With four kids, a fashion line and a super star husband, Victoria Beckham is certainly one of the busiest mums out there! She's also one of the most chic mothers in showbiz thanks to her secret weapon - separates. She may not always impress everyone with her evening wear but Viccy B is the queen of day dressing; she knows that a good pair of dark jeans teamed with heels (to elongate the leg) and a beautiful oversized coat can make you look your best, even when you don't feel it. She's also rarely seen without a pair of oversized sunglasses on her face, handy for hiding from the paps AND covering tired eyes.

Whilst Victoria is super polished, Gwen Stefani has the laid back meets super cool LA vibe down to a tea. The No Doubt singer is often snapped playing with her kids on the playground, on the beach, and at the zoo, usually in a combination of loose fitting vest tops, a hat, and a flattering pair of trousers. Gwen is a great dresser when it comes to colour coding and being creative with her silhouette - take this look for example. It's a fashion truth universally acknowledged that black is the most forgiving colour out there; even Gwen, who has one of the best bodies in the business, still appears slimmer than usual. Adding a pop of colour with her sunglasses and lipstick stops the outfit from looking too sombre, and wearing a jacket with exaggerated shoulders makes her look broader across the top, drawing attention to her top half.

fashionablecelebritymum2013.jpg

Beyonce is one of the newest A-List mums, but she's still as fashionable as ever - arguably even more so! Before and after giving birth, Bey has always been happy to embrace her curves (seriously, who wouldn't be if they looked like that?) but one of my favourite photos of her is this one taken at the Video Music Awards where all curves expect the bump are hidden tastefully inside a gorgeous bold red gown. Beyonce knows that a well constructed maxi dress can make you feel a million dollars, whether you're a mum or not!

Last but by no means least, is Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr. I mean come on, who looks this good breastfeeding?! Just weeks after giving birth, the 29-year-old beauty was back at work, feeding her adorable boy Flynn in hair and makeup in nothing but a pair of heels and a silk robe. We don't know how she does it - perhaps being married to Orlando Bloom helps?

If you're inspired by these superwomen, steal their style below!

celebritymumstyle2013.jpgLeft to right Topshop indigo skinny jeans £40, ASOS check ovoid coat £85, Miss Selfridge PU biker coat £69, Quay Za Ha square sunglasses £25, Aqua Gable cape back maxi dress £129.

Fashion Forecast: Bomber Jackets

bomberjackettrend2013.jpg

Catwalk > celebrities > us: that's the way it's always been, right? Perhaps, but with so many high street brands with their finger on the fashion pulse these days, it's becoming more achievable to have that "I was wearing it before anybody else" feeling.

Whilst the Varsity jacket may reign supreme throughout the Summer's sporting/Americana trend, come AW13 you'll see the return on the bomber jacket - no, not those over sized hideous shiny black numbers from the 1990's with embroidered dragons on the back; we're talking jackets like those seen in the Loewe, Chanel and Stella McCartney collections. Bombers are back, and yes, they will be beautiful!

bomberjacketspring2013.jpg

We've already witnessed one or two celebs rocking them as part of their off duty wear (for example, see the gorgeous Sophia Bush of One Tree Hill fame above) and a number of styles are already hitting the shops too. BANK Fashion have been straight off the mark with these gorgeous bombers below. The Ribbon muted floral jacket on the left is exclusive to BANK (we think it would look great worn over black a'la Sophia) and theGlamorous luxe chiffon bomber on the right is everything a girl could hope for from next seasons hottest jacket!

Celebrity trend: The beanie hat

celebritiesinbeaniehats2013.jpgSo you want to keep warm and look cool at the same time? (let's face it, it's the dream combo) Then there's no better time to invest in a beanie. Although the classic shape has been working its charm on celebs for years, the humble beanie hat has gone through a transformation over the last few seasons, thanks to a blend of upcoming designers taking influence from the Nineties.

First off, find a style that suits you - hats aren't for everyone. Can you work a turn up? Does a loose knit sit best on your hair? Can you wear a beanie slightly off your head without looking like an elf? Choose your headwear wisely; the aim is to look laid back and exude an off duty cool vibe, not look like you're ready to break into someones car. Secondly, take fashion tips from our favourite celebrities who're embracing the beanie. Best friends Cara Delevingne and Rita Ora are often snapped in cult street brand numbers from Trapstar and Dimepiece (they've got the London street-chic look nailed!) but if you're after something more high street, look to songstresses Ellie Goulding and Taylor Swift for inspiration. Yummy mummies Beyonce and Jessica Alba are also fans of the beanie, and who can blame them? They're fashionable, weather appropriate and super handy in a hair crisis.

Shop her style: Kelly Brook keeps warm

Like many of us this week, celebrities across the country have taken to instagram to document their snow adventures, and the outfits they've been wearing in sub zero temperatures. Unlike socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson (who for some bizarre yet hilarious reason decided to pose on a snow covered sun lounger in a bathing suit and heels) one lady who's managed to look super stylish throughout all the horrible weather is model/designer Kelly Brook.

kellybrookjanuary2013.jpg
The gorgeous 33-year-old model, who is snapped in her underwear as often as she is on the red carpet, made us green with envy with her a host of glamorous 'selfies', sporting an array of beautiful coats and weather appropriate accessories. We have to admit, we'd much rather see a celeb being sensible in the snow than teetering around in heels like Bambi on ice...

Kelly opted for a fluffy trimmed parka to announce, "it's snowing!!!" to her followers last week, and has continued to stay warm and fashionable since. From a close up photo featuring a fur coat and hat covering her eyes, to her "Sunday" outfit (consisting of a lovely dress coat, chunky black scarf and some rather spectacular knee-high boots) and her hoody/bomber jacket combo, we think Kelly looks amazing. Want to recreate her style? Check out our favourite picks below!

Steal their style: Celebrities in blue at the Critics Choice Awards

As the Hollywood season swings into action, you can guarantee our eyes will be glued firmly to the red carpet! Following on the coat tails of the Peoples Choice Awards, the A-List flocked to Santa Monica last night for the Critics Choice Awards 2013, providing us with yet another reason to sigh enviously over the swathes of beautiful fabric, glossy hair, and lust-worthy arm candy. Every year we see a number of colour trends emerge at the award shows (last year red gowns and metallic/pastel hues were incredibly popular) and although Pantone announced emerald as the colour for 2013, it looks as though the stars are favouring something slightly different - blue.

criticschoiceawards2013.jpg

Appearing in a host of shades from cobalt to navy, the A-List ladies of the evening certainly looked anything but blue about their fashion choices. Les Miserables actress Amanda Seyfried teamed her pretty lace and chiffon azure blue dress by Marios Schwab with a sleek top knot and black Roger Vivier sandals, which complimented the black inserts at the sleeves. Amy Adams opted for a simple yet glam Vionnet number which featured a draped white top and a midnight blue skirt with a side split. One of our favourite looks of the night came from Vampire Diaries star, Nina Dobrev, who rocked an incredible turquoise blue crystal Monique Lhuillier dress detailing a cut-out neckline and structured shape. I can't get over how amazing she looks!

If you've got a party to go to and you want to recreate these red carpet outfits, check out our best picks below.
