Which is music to our ears as we've been lusting after House of Holland's Spring / Summer 2013 offering ever since it hit the catwalk at London Fashion Week last September.

Today's Must Have: Topshop's super separates

Today's must have isn't just one piece from a brand or collection - it's a whole outfit (apologies in advance if you fall in love with everything and end up pulling out the credit card!)

There's no denying that we all love how easy it is to pull our favourite dress out of the wardrobe on a Friday night, but this season evening separates are a big deal. Sleek and sexy simplicity - with a little bit of sports luxe thrown in for good measure - is a great way to experiment with new shapes, colours and textures. When it comes to evening separates, the high end of the high street tends to be at the forefront (think COS, Zara and Whistles) however, if you want to copy the catwalk for less, Topshop have some great pieces right now, from their everyday range right through to their Boutique collection.

Be on the look out for stepped hems and wrap overs, mix fabrics like neoprene, silk and organza, and embrace a monochrome base with a pop of colour in accessories or makeup. We love that Topshop have embraced the simple yet stylish cami top this year (they come in an array of colours) and this bright mini skirt looks like it's worth twice the price. For a streamline finish, team your separates with some gorgeous strappy sandals like this dappled leather pair, a slick of colourful lipstick and if you must wear jewellery, stick to one graphic piece; you don't want to over accessorise!

Top to bottom Strappy cami top £18, Lip paint in Low Down £8, Clean zip clutch £34, 3D mix shape earrings £6.50, Bright blue neoprene skirt £34, Rebel sandals £50.

Today's Must-have: Topshop Patchwork Paint Pencil Skirt

Today's must-have comes in the form of this ultra-new feeling skirt from trend setters, Topshop. With the weather finally coming close to where it should be at this time of year (goodbye April showers, hello sunshine), it's time to embrace the new season shapes with full force. When it comes to skirts, this means showing a bit of leg for Spring / Summer 2013. Wrap-over styles, cut out designs and side splits are at the top of fashion's wish list when it comes to the skirt, and this one is the perfect place to start. But it's not for the feint hearted.

Patchwork Paint Pencil Skirt £40 >>

With artistic creative paint stroke print, it feels ultra-modern and new, but there's no denying the open curved cut out is hard to pull off. Leg lovely ladies should embrace this with open arms, and wear this beauty showing off their pins for all to see. For the more cautious out there, go one size up to avoid such a large revealing split. Made of 100% cotton, the fabric is fairly structured and with pencil shape, it shouldn't be too short. Check it out over at Topshop and team with cropped separates and leg lengthening platforms. WE WANT.

Today's must-have: Whistles Alice Slim Boyfriend Jeans

For me, boyfriend jeans have become a bit of a fashion staple. Whilst skinny jeans still remain at the core of my everyday wardrobe, boyfriend jeans are beginning to offer up something new, ultra wearable and new season fresh. Of all the styles out there; think oversized, high-waisted, vintage, it can be difficult to figure out which ones will serve the purpose of that ultra wearable, yet somehow smart jean alternative.

ALICE SLIM BOYFRIEND JEAN £85 >>

But I think, I may have stumbled upon some all-round winners. This mid / light wash pair by premium high street brand Whistles, tick all the boxes for me. With small contrast turn-up, slim fit and cropped length, they offer a really wearable casual boyfriend style with that cool edge, whilst not being scruffy or untidy looking. I especially love the subtle sporty stripe turn up on the side.

Today's Must Have: Bitching & Junkfood Purple Stud Shorts

These all over studded shorts might not be to everyone's taste, but with festival season fast approaching and our favourite celebs showing us how it's done at Coachella these past few weekends, it's time to turn up the heat when it comes to our festival wardrobe.

Remember those Levi's studded shorts Rihanna wore at last year's Coachella festival by Ragged Priest? These new season move ons are the perfect way to update the look for the new season.

Today's Must Have: Topshop Black Gem Cage Bikini

We might be getting a little carried away with all this sunny weather, but when we spotted this Black Gem Cage Bikini from Topshop, we couldn't resist. Whether you're hitting the beach sometime soon or just want to make an investment for the near future, this one's definatley worth considering.

topshop-black-gem-bikini.jpg

Whilst the high waisted pants and structured top half might make for more of a covered up beach choice, the cage style cut outs on the side and top keep it super-appealing and somewhat sexy. Perfect for curvy ladies who want the support where it's needed. We also love the gem detail which is subtly contrasted in purple and silver.

Check it out at Topshop above.

Today's Must Have: Needle & Thread's exclusive collection

Get excited as Today's Must Have comes in the form of Needle &Thread's S/S'13 debut collection, currently exclusive to ASOS! The sun is finally making more of an appearance and in preparation for those Summer events and functions, this eclectic collection is ideal to dip into for that statement, standout piece, guaranteed to ensure admiration from onlookers and gain priority as a staple outfit in your wardrobe. Having stumbled across this collection, the distinctive pieces are immediately eye-catching thanks to the intricate beading and sequin detail (which is hand-embellished in India by the way) not to mention the sophisticated use of the handcrafted pure silk and use of sheer chiffon.

Needle & Thread ASOS collection Left to right Vivid silk mini dress £125, Illuminate silk midi dress £195, Botanical silk dress £175.

Our favourite pieces include this short silk pink number with faceted jewel stones (left), the gorgeous botanical midi dress detailing hand embellished flowers (right), and last but by no means least, the central 1920's inspired midi-length silk dress, which is suitably on trend following the budding frenzy around the heavily anticipated Great Gatsby movie. If you like the look of the collection, you can check out more of the pieces right here - let us know which dress you've got your eye on!
