To promote her line, the Harry Potter actress has been talking about why she loves fashion, and why she's so dedicated to helping produce ethical clothes.
She told InStyle, "I'm always thinking and experimenting, and I make conscious decisions to try and support new talent and ethical fashion."
Emma explained: "I love having control. My job as an actress is to bring to life another person's vision, but with clothes, I can express my own creativity.
She added, "And I wanted to be able to buy fashion knowing it's not harming the person who made it or the environment.
Emma Watson has revealed on her official blog that her double life has all become too much for her and she's decided to take some time off from her university Brown.
The actress wrote, "As you know, I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything but recently I've had so much to juggle that being a student AND fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible."
She explained, "I've decided to take a bit of time off to completely finish my work on Harry Potter (the last one comes out this summer) and to focus on my other professional and acting projects. I will still be working towards my degree... it's just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought : )"
Well with her new clothing range, and films, she did bite off more then she could chew. But school comes first kids, remember that!
Emma Watson is moving onto bigger and better things after the end of her collaboration with People Tree - she's designed a line for Alberta Ferretti!
She's sticking with her dedication to bringing us all eco friendly clothes too: Pure Threads will be for "sensitive people, who want to be supportive of these kind of issues" and produced with materials and techniques that are environmentally friendly such as cotton poplin, cotton muslin and hemp.
"I'm pleased that a luxury brand such as Alberta Ferretti has decided to create ecological clothes," said Emma. "I believe this is a big step forward for all of the international fashion industry, but also an important step for an increased sensitivity to the problem of ecology."
So - there's an example of what you can expect: what do you think of it so far?
Emma Watson seems to be over the dramatic rebellion that was her pixie haircut - because she's growing it out already.
Emma told Elle at the Elle style awards, "I'm kind of looking forward to getting to a cute little bob stage. I am trying to grow it but it's slow, it's taking a while obviously."
But, she revealed, it's mostly for work reasons.
She added, "If I want to keep acting it's more flexible for me to have it longer for different roles, it's quite a specific cut."
I'm sure I don't have to tell you that the coat that Emma Watson is wearing here is Burberry, but I will and it is!
I had planned to link to it so you could buy it, you know, if you had a few grand just lying around, but it's completely disappeared from Net-a-Porter already.
Luckily for us though, Topshop have produced an excellent lookalike coat: the below the knee stone double breasted trench coat is much longer then Emma's but apart from that pretty damn similar, with the same black leather sleeves.
Images of Emma Watson's latest collection for People Tree have been released!
There's a lot of black.
Of the line, Emma said, "I designed the collection last year after I'd started university in the US. We took care to design a really wearable collection that truly celebrates the traditional skills of People Tree's Fairtrade groups around the world."

Emma Watson has stated that she has too much money.
Over here Emma, I'll take it.
The millionairess Harry Potter star said, "I have way too much money to know what to do with it."
You'd think that with a wardrobe full of couture and flying back and forth between the US and London would help reduce her bank balance, but no.
But, Emma said, she does spend it; "I bought a laptop, and a Toyota Prius when I passed my driving test, but that's the most expensive things I've spent my money on outside my education."
Emma Watson has been insisting that she doesn't make a very good girlfriend - although she confirms she is single right now, and enjoying it.
The Harry Potter actress explained, "It's rubbish being my boyfriend. People are constantly coming up to me, I'm always working. I don't have a boyfriend at the moment. It feels good, actually. It's nice to be selfish."
Not that she'd actually tell us if she had a boyfriend - Emma said, "I'm never going to confirm or deny who I am dating, but if they keep doing it, the tally will get so high - not very Hermione."
