Victoria Beckham has enthusiastically said that she would "absolutely absolutely absolutely" love to dress the First Lady, Michelle Obama.
The singer turned fashion icon and designer, who recently sent Sarah Jessica Parker to the White House in one of her designs, gushed, "I would love to dress Mrs. Obama absolutely absolutely absolutely! I just think she's incredible and she's a very strong woman and she's beautiful."
On the success of her label - which also has fans in Blake Lively, Heidi Klum and Drew Barrymore - the artist formally known as Posh Spice said;
"I love women and I just want to make women feel good and beautiful and it's just been a huge compliment that ladies have enjoyed wearing my dresses and they look great!"
"It just goes to show they can flatter women of all different shapes and sizes, all different heights, and that's what it's about. It's about creating an illusion and having a great cut."

There wasn't an Oscar nomination for Hilary Swank this year, but she still knows how to get people talking about her.
Hilary, who in earlier years won the Best Actress award for Million Dollar Baby and Boys Don't Cry, was one of the most uncovered celebrities when she attended the Vanity Fair Oscar After Party wearing a black Giorgio Armani Privé gown .
The show-stopping dress featured chain metal Swarovski beading, a plunging neckline, and a daring cut-out back which ran into a black and white asymmetrical satin skirt. She topped the whole thing off with Jimmy Choo platforms and a Roger Vivier clutch.

You might for a second wonder what Mariah Carey was doing at the Oscars, but remember she was in the Best Film-nominated movie Precious, alongside Mo'Nique and Gabby Sidibe.
Mariah, who starred as a dowdy social worker in the film, looked beautiful on the red carpet in this off-the-shoulder, midnight-blue Valentino gown, which was exquisitely and flatteringly shaped around the bodice and cinched in with a crystal broach.
Accompanied by her husband Nick Cannon (and frankly we are surprised they are still married) the singer accessorised with a cartload of diamonds on her ears, wrists and fingers and nude Louboutin heels and nails.
We aren't really sure about the cut of the slit, but we can overlook it. You're welcome, Mariah.

We reported that Miley Cyrus would be presenting an award at the Oscars, and here she is on the red carpet wearing Jenny Peckham.
Another of the nude gowns at the event, it was an improvement on Miley's usual outfit choices, in that there is more of it.
Incorporating a the underwear-as-outerwear trend in the bodice, which was corset-esque and edged with a small ruffle (small, Vera, do you hear?), the dress flowed out into a large tulle skirt scattered with crystals, and she kept it young with black nails.
However, Miley; STAND UP STRAIGHT. Kristen has only just got the message, don't you start slouching now too.

Oh. My. God. Whoever suggested Vera Farmiga wear this Marchesa dress to the Oscars has a vendetta.
The Up In The Air actress was nominated in the Best Actress category, but missed out on the award to (the infinitely better dressed) Sandra Bullock.
The dress - which seemed to consist mainly of a ruffle - was, we think it is safe to say, a little bit over the top and the metallic pink colour didn't help matters.
On the plus side, her make up was lovely, and we're coveting her lipstick.

We know, we're shocked too.
The actress (sans boyfriend Robert Pattinson) and her Twilight cast-mate Taylor Lautner were on hand to present an award at the ceremony, and Kristen looked the best she has on the red carpet in a long while.
Wearing a navy strapless Monique L'Huiller fishtail gown, the actress SMILED for the cameras and STOOD UP STRAIGHT.
Well done Kristen.
We're going to lie down.

Sandra Bullock wore the perfect shimmering, silver-embellished Marchesa gown to accept her Oscar last night, when she won Best Actress for her role in The Blind Side.
Ever self-depreciating and hilarious, the actress made a modest speech, starting by saying "Did I really earn this or did I just wear you all down?" and using the opportunity to pay tribute to her fellow nominees.
To Carey Mulligan, Sandra said, "Your grace and your elegance and your beauty and your talent... makes me sick."
She finished by saying "Everyone who's shown me kindness when it wasn't fashionable, I thank you. To everyone who was mean to me when it wasn't... George Clooney threw me in a pool years ago. I'm still holding a grudge."
And all this after winning a Razzie the day before!

In one of the most risk taking outfits of the Oscars, Avatar star Zoe Saldana (you may not recognise her from it, as she was blue) was one of the first on the red carpet last night in this dramatic purple gown.
The actress, who played the blue alien Neytiri, wore a show-stopping, attention-grabbing dress by Riccardo Tisci, the creative director at Givenchy, that we absolutely loved.
Standing out from a sea of understated outfits, the strapless, chiffon gown graduated in colour from the pale lilac, crystal-coated bodice, to the deep violet of the huge bouffant skirt.
Definitely one of OSOYOU's Best Dressed. Well played Zoe.

Despite winning a BAFTA recently for her role in An Education, our Carey Mulligan missed out on the Best Actress award at the Oscars last night.
Although the actress lost out to Sandra Bullock, she looked amazing in a dramatic strapless jet-black Prada gown with a graduated hemline (maybe as a compromise with Anna Wintour who wanted her to wear a short dress), embellished with hundreds of crystals, buttons and teeny tiny knives and forks.
We weren't as impressed with her shoes; it looks like her feet had been bandaged and she should have gone for something a bit more delicate with the imposing dress, but her Fred Leighton chandelier earrings were amazing, and we want them.

Twilight actress Anna Kendrick didn't win in her category for Best Supporting Actress, but she was one of the red carpet winners at the Oscars.
Nominated for her role in Up In The Air with George Clooney, Anna walked the red carpet in one of my favourite looks of the night - which was rumoured to be a last minute replacement for a dress that 'didn't work out'.
The ceremony this year was ruled by nude tones (that's huge for spring/summer BTW) and the 24-year-old was one of the stand outs in a soft pink, off-the-shoulder Elie Saab gown with a slight train and a thigh high slit trimmed with lace, paired with nude platform sandals and a glittery clutch.
