Coleen Rooney - nee McLoughlin - has started work on her new TV show. And here she was filming it yet. It's a hard-hitting investigative journalist piece on the current American political climate. Not really. It's about fashion. Probably.
Well, at least she looked nice while shooting her programme about fashion - wearing black, white and red, and sporting a cute braid in her hair. Still, when she's telling us what real style is, you do sort of expect her to look really stylish, don't you?

Uh, oh. Coleen Rooney has been replaced by the very people she champions - 'real-life women'. The horror! Yes, Asda have decided to use three hospital workers as the face of their clothing label George.
The doctor and two nurses (who look like models to us), were hired after a poll revealed shoppers weren't impressed by celebrities promoting its outfits and preferred 'real people'.
Apparently Asda shoppers respect the medical profession more than any other, so when Col's £3million contract came to an end the Asda bigwigs decided to snap up the hospital workers.
It's all a bit ironic considering Mrs Rooney's TV show Coleen's Real Women, was all about finding big modelling jobs for ordinary girls.
We can't help feeling a wee bit sorry for Coleen, but then she did earn £8 million from her Asda contract which should keep her in Christian Louboutins for a while.

Coleen Rooney hit Liverpool at the weekend as part of a promotional tour for her latest book Coleen's Real Style. While she was loving being back on home turf, we were loving the fact that she wore the same shoes (Christian Louboutins, admittedly) that she was spotted in at her book launch at Lakeside Thurrock see here And if you look very closely, she even appears to be wearing the same colour nailvarnish.
Might this be a new trend? First there was Katie Holmes seen wearing her biker jacket twice (no need to mention those jeans either) and now Coleen is getting two days' wear out of Louboutins.
Maybe the celebs are feeling the credit crunch too.

Coleen Rooney - née McLoughlin - signed the first copies of her new fashion bible - Coleen's Real Style - at the Lakeside shopping centre in Thurrock, Surrey, yesterday. And suitably stylish she looked, too, in her black and white outfit with matching Christian Louboutins.
Ah, Christian Louboutins. I'm sure that Coleen's book tells you that you don't need money to have style. But it does help, doesn't it?

Erm, OK then. Coleen Rooney - née McLoughlin - has got a book coming out about fashion. And she wants us to know that it will be her last project under her maiden name.
"I'm changing my name completely," she tells the Sunday Mirror. What, completely, Coleen? Ah, no. Just the surname part.
"At first I thought about keeping my own name, then I thought about using both names," she continues, "and then I said to Wayne, 'What do you want me to do?' And he said, 'I want you to change it'." So, erm, that was that, then. Good to know who wears the trousers in that relationship!
And speaking of trousers: what about that forthcoming book of hers? Well, apparently it's called Coleen's Real Style - and it's a guide that "covers everything anyone could ever need to know about fashion from bags, shoes and evening gowns to casual clothes, jeans and underwear".
But according to Amazon, its author is Coleen Rooney - not Coleen McLoughlin. Let's hope the publishers didn't get too annoyed by that last-minute cover change, eh?

Yes, the new Mrs Wayne Rooney, Coleen McLoughlin, took some time off from being a footballer's wife - actually, being a footballer's wife means constantly taking time off, doesn't it? - by attending the V Festival.
And here she was, accessorising for Britain as she did so. Why, even her drink matches her handbag. Eat your heart out, Posh!

While the rest of us fear the day we might be forced to shop from the sale rails, Coleen hasn't decided to slow her spending one bit. With 'one bit', meaning, ooo, £1000.
She splashed £20,000 at her favourite boutique, Cricket, in under two hours at the weekend. Now that's fast work.
The Liverpool shop was shut while its entire new autumn/winter range was brought out for her to peruse. Poor Col' couldn't decide what to buy... so she snapped up the entire collection.
A source told the Daily Mirror, 'She spent hours looking at clothes, picking out £1,000 dresses like they were, well, going out of fashion.'
We don't suppose Coleen will be queuing up at the 'Returns' counter come Monday. Sigh.

Coleen McLoughlin and Wayne Rooney may have called off their post-wedding celebrations here in the UK - apparently they're all "partied out", poor loves! - but they went out to dinner with friends and family in Liverpool last night all dressed up to the nines.
Well, Coleen was dressed up to the nines, at least. Wayne was wearing a shirt tucked into jeans. Coleen, on the other hand, was dressed like one of the women in the Ascot scene in My Fair Lady. Is she getting married again in the morning?

Yes, Coleen McLoughlin and Wayne Rooney's honeymoon in Las Vegas is continuing, well, if not unabated, then at least uniterrupted.
Here were the newlyweds in the pool yesterday - and as you can see, Coleen was modelling bikini number four - number four, I tell you! - which was a lovely strapless, red polka dot number with tie-sides.
