This whole Cheryl Cole on US X-Factor thing is getting pretty tiresome don't you think?
First she has it, then she doesn't, I don't even care anymore.
The latest news is that... she doesn't have it - apparently the producers (understandably) want someone more established in America for the job.
A 'friend' said, "Everyone thinks Cheryl has the judging job on US 'X Factor' in the bag."
They continued, "The truth is, nothing has been signed and the producers still aren't convinced."
Adding: "They are more keen to get a big US star like Katy Perry or Rihanna on the panel - someone who will bring credibility to the show and who is already popular in the US."
Sigh. How about someone just tells us when they've made a decision, and then we leave it at that?

Remember how Cheryl Cole is apparently secretely dating Derek Hough? Well now she has reportedly told him that that's all it will ever be - she won't be getting married again.
An insider told the Daily Star, "Cheryl has told Derek point blank that she won't marry him."
The continued, "They've been talking a lot recently about what the future holds for them. Cheryl has told Derek she loves him and wants to settle down and start a family. But she's made it quite clear that it won't involve a wedding."
They added: "She's been permanently scarred by her marriage break-up with Ashley and can't face going through another divorce."
I'm sure next week they'll be 'engaged'.

It's the start of a good year for Cheryl Cole: the singer has been nominated for two Brit Awards!
Cheryl will be hoping to win Best British Female Solo Artist and Best British Single, for Parachute.
Other nominees include Tinie Tempah, who snagged four nominations, and Katy Perry, Kylie Minogue, Alicia Keys, Rihanna and Robyn who are all nominated for International Female Solo Artist.
The most surprising nomination though was the cast of Glee's nomination for Best International Breakthrough Act! So funny. Hope that means Lea Michele will turn up in an amazing outfit. We'll have to wait for February 15th to see!

Fox and X-Factor head Peter Rice has given Cheryl Cole the OK to use her Geordie accent.
How nice of him.
He said, "If Cheryl was to be on the show, I think she's proved that she's a terrific judge."
Hang on, 'if'? We thought it was settled? We're so confused.
Rice added, "There's great speculation. I think Simon is still meeting and trying to find the right mixture ...It'll be four judges as it is in England - it's two men, two women... one of which will be Simon."
We'd still put money on Cheryl.

Cheryl Cole has revealed that despite routinely topping sexiest/most beautiful lists, she still has days when she feels like crap.
She told Fabulous magazine, "Do you ever reach the point when you're happy with your body?"
"I don't think you do. I can look in the mirror in the morning and feel rubbish. But never change your look for a man. Never."
Cheryl also recently denied that she would ever get plastic surgery, because it makes everyone look the same.
"There is a massive difference between here and LA," she said. "In Hollywood you see surgery all the time, walking down the street. But I don't think it's good or nice, because everyone looks the same. Part of being you is your uniqueness and identity."

In more of her Elle interview, Cheryl Cole has described the horrible year she's had and how she's stopped caring what people think of her.
She told the magazine, "I have taken so much s**t, I've stopped listening to other people. I have had enough. There's only so much you can cope with and then you either allow it to swallow you up or you say, "Sod this". I have had it with negativity and bitchiness."
"I want people to like my music but I couldn't give a s**t about what they think of me. Take it or leave it. I do not care."
Cheryl even revealed that her self-esteem has hit such a low that she won't look at pictures of herself. Gosh. If Cheryl Cole won't look at pictures of herself then we're all in trouble.
She said, "My confidence has never hit such an all-time low as it has this last year. It feels really bad. I don't look at pictures of myself. I can't."

Cheryl Cole and her killer cheekbones cover the February issue of Elle magazine where she dishes a bit on her attitude to fashion.
Showing she's still a down to earth Geordie lass at heart, the singer told them, "I love Balmain but that's just being ridiculously spoilt. I always find that I really love their stuff."
Cheryl added, "I appreciate fashion, it's not something I worry about or something I strive to be but it's definitely a massive part of who I am and what I do."

The various members of Girls Aloud are still trying to dispell rumours of a rift and convince us that Nadine Coyle will be returning to the group - this time it's Cheryl Cole's turn.
She told Alan Carr on his talk show about the reunion, "I haven't got any news for you just yet but you'll be the first to know when I do."
When asked if she thought Nadine would be coming back, she said, "Yeah, of course. That's all been blown way out of proportion. Nadine is very much a part of Girls Aloud."

It's finally Christmas Eve, and though we're wrapping presents or enjoying the last few hours before we have to entertain our Great Aunt Doris, we have to remember there are some people who aren't going to have such an enjoyable time this year.
Cheryl Cole for example, who will be celebrating her first Christmas after her divorce from husband Ashley.
The singer apparently 'broke down' after receiving a card from her idiot of an ex-husband. A source told The Sun, "Cheryl felt quite choked up at being sent the card. After all that has happened between them, she thought it was a nice gesture."
The source added, "It has been a difficult year and as anyone who has been in love knows, the holidays can bring on a lot of emotion and nostalgia."
