Cheryl Cole has posted a message on her website from her sickbed, apologising for her missed appearances on the Friday Night with Jonathan Ross show and Radio 1.
Cheryl wrote: "As some of you may know, I'm really ill at the moment with a nasty case of bronchitis."
"Unfortunately, I'm stuck in bed under strict doctor's orders, so I've had no other choice than to cancel my performances on the Jonathan Ross show and the Radio 1 Live Lounge this week. Gutted! It's a good job I've got my iPod to keep me entertained."
She added: "I'm really sorry for letting you down and I look forward to seeing you all soon."

After first cancelling her interview on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross because she didn't want to answer questions on her private life, Cheryl Cole has also dropped out of her scheduled performance on the show because of illness.
The singer was due on the popular BBC1 show to promote her new single Parachute, but has reportedly contracted Bronchitis, leaving her unable to sing.
Cheryl also had to cancel a planned Radio 1 session with Fearne Cotton after doctors ordered her to rest.
A friend of the singer said, "Cheryl has been a trouper up until now but the pressure has finally got to her. She is very sick and feeling very, very low. The bronchitis has knocked her clean off her feet."
Poor Cheryl, get well soon!

Cheryl Cole is reportedly going to France where husband Ashley is currently staying in a rehabilitation clinic for treatment on his broken ankle, where she will participate in 'crunch talks' with the footballer.
The Girls Aloud singer has apprently been besieged with texts from her estranged husband - who she left after a long string of cheating - which have been saying things like "We've got to fight for this love".
Urgh. Reeeaaaally?
Cheryl is also thought to have agreed to take part in marriage counselling, with a source saying, "Cheryl has agreed to see a counsellor with Ashley to hear his issues. She think he deserves to be heard and understands how he could think that she let him down as a wife."
FYI Ashley is thought to have cheated on his wife with at least four women during their relationship.

Footballer Ashley Cole is quite upset by recent events in his life and has been shouting at paparazzi, telling them to "f*ck off".
The 29-year old has been at a French sports clinic for the last few days receiving treatment for a broken ankle, ever since his wife Cheryl Cole announced her plans to divorce him.
He is so upset, he has stopped shaving and grown a beard.
Ashley is reported to be almost suicidal with unhappiness and has 'suprised' his friends by how hard he is taking the loss of his wife.
He said "F*ck off! Why doesn't everyone just leave me alone? Just f*ck off, my life has been ruined."
If only we knew who to blame.

Cheryl Cole has pulled out of her scheduled appearance on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.
The singer who has demanded a divorce from her footballer husband Ashley Cole after a string of cheating allegations, was booked to appear on the popular chat show in two weeks but has pulled out because she doesn't want to discuss the end of her marriage.
Cheryl may perform at the end of the show, but there will definitely be no interview. "It's tacky, it's got Jordan written all over it.", she apparently told producers.
Ashley, on the other hand, is apparently feeling suicidal over the split. Fears for him were sparked after he sent a text saying 'Thanks for everything' to his friends.
A source said, "He's a broken man. He is in his own world. He is like a zombie."
Poor Ashley.

Friends of Cheryl Cole are worried about the singers lack of appetite following her separation from husband Ashley.
What do they expect really though? If you just found out your husband was a... well, was worthy of what Ke$ha wants to do to him, you wouldn't really feel like eating much either.
A 'friend' said, "Since the latest storm broke, she has lost her appetite completely."
"All she will touch is peppermint tea. Her mum has been cooking up lovely homemade soup but she is not interested."
Luckily she has her friends to support her - fellow Girls Aloud member Nicola Roberts was at Cheryl's house mansion until the early hours of yesterday morning - leaving in a limo at 1am.

As the saga continues, it's being claimed that Ashley Cole told wife Cheryl he would do a Tiger Woods and head to sex rehab if she gave their marriage another shot.
A source said, "Ashley was calling every ten minutes or so and leaving messages. He was very emotional and in distress. Ashley suggested they could go for counselling and that he could try therapy. He admitted for the first time that he has a problem."
A problem being caught maybe.
Luckily Cheryl has some support from an unlikely source. Ke$ha is doing the rounds in London this week and added her two cents to the drama.
The Blah Blah Blah singer told the Daily Star, "I saw the picture of him in his pants. If someone did that to me I would stab him in his d**k."

Yesterday Cheryl Cole finally released a statement confirming her split from her husband footballer Ashley Cole after repeated allegations of his cheating.
The message released by the singers management said, "Cheryl Cole is separating from her husband Ashley Cole. Cheryl asks the media to respect her privacy during this difficult time. We have no further comment to make."
And with that, the world cheers.

The police were called by Ashley Cole last night when his mansion was targeted by theives who attempted to break into his £3.5million home in the early hours of this morning.
Apparently the theives, who tried to break in through the window at 4.30 a.m, were after Cheryl Cole's £160,000 wedding ring which everybody and their dog knows she has taken off and left at home while in LA.
Police said "It cannot be coincidence that people attempt to break into the family home when both of them are due to be out of the UK. And it happens when there is widespread publicity that Mrs Cole is not wearing her wedding ring. Whether they were acting on some kind of insider information is certainly possible."
We think it's more likely that somebody read the papers and spied an opportunity.

Heartbroken Cheryl Cole is said to bet set to divorce her reportedly phillandering husband as soon as possible, and will not be fighting for this love. Sorry...
The 26-year old signer arrived in LA last night without her wedding ring after the Brits performance in which her anger was obvious (it basically looked like she imagining ripping Ashley's head off throughout it, let's be honest).
A source told the Daily Mail, "She loves Ashley, he is the love of her life, but there is only so much she will take."
'Cheryl is exhausted with it all. There was a point when she was going to ride it all out, but she has heard rumours of more women and cannot face it. They will split within weeks."
What's more the couple apparently didn't sign a pre-nup before their wedding in July 2006 so Ashley's footballer fortune is up for grabs.
