Taylor Swift has appeared on the cover of American Vogue for the first time.
Photographed for the fashion bible's February issue, the musician gives off a relaxed hippy vibe in a floppy hat and colourful knit.
In the accompanying interview she reveals that her next album will be about "an absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak" she experienced. Although she wouldn't say who inspired the new songs, she was dumped by actor, Jake Gyllenhaal in 2010.
She told Vogue that she finds writing songs cathartic, helping her to "feel better" and gain "clarity" after a break-up.
Although we doubt Taylor will stay single for long, she has previously spoken about enjoying her own company. She told People magazine last year: "I don't ever have a morning where I wake up and say, 'I really need to find a boyfriend today'".
Vogue's February issue goes on sale 24th January.

Beyonce has given her first interview since the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, and she's revealed that Jay-Z will definitely be a hands-on dad.
Speaking exclusively to Star Magazine, the singer also talked about the "instant connection" she felt with her baby before confirming that her husband was in the room when she gave birth to Blue last week.
She said: "He would not have missed it for anything. He is a very protective and loyal guy by nature.
"He will change diapers, of course he will. He is going to be a very hands-on father."
She then made our hearts melt by adding: "He has already said publicly that providing isn't love. Love is being there, love is doing the little things for your child."
The rapper released 'Glory'featuring the cries of the newborn baby last week. Although the pair released a joint statement, the former Destiny's Child singer hasn't spoken publicly until now.
When asked about meeting her daughter for the first time, she said: "Nothing can describe the feeling. You have the instant connection once you know your child is growing inside you, but when you hold it for the first time, the words can't be found."
Bey also addressed the rumours concerning alleged heavy-handed security at Lenox Hill Hospital last week. Something the hospital has already denied.
"Everybody who wanted to see her, saw her. Security was very tight, but not just for the sake of it, it was for the security of our daughter", she said.
Congrats again! We can't wait for her first outing.

Singer Avril Lavigne has reportedly split from her long-term boyfriend Brody Jenner due to work differences.
According to US Weekly, the couple ended their two-year relationship last week. It's thought Brody - who's the half brother of Kim Kardashian and dated Lauren Conrad on The Hills - felt held back by his girlfriend.
"Every time he wanted to come back and take meetings to get his career in order, she would make him go to Asia and Europe", a source told the magazine. Blimey it's a hard life.
US Weekly also goes on to claim that Avril vetoed a number of work projects offered to the model.
The source added: "He hasn't worked and he wants to. They were both unhappy because he wants to have his career, she wants him to stay with her."
The couple are yet to confirm or deny the split.

Russell Brand has spoken publicly for the first time since filing for divorce from wife of fourteen months, Katy Perry.
Russell answered questions - in true Russell style - from reporters as part of the TCA press tour.
When asked how he was coping with the split, he replied: "[I am] quite well, thank you. Are you asking because of recent events?
"Well I suppose what you're doing is you're making the mistake of seeing time as linear. The brilliant American author, Kurt Vonnegut, he'll tell ya that if you imagine reality as experienced simultaneously, events become redundant."
He then went on to reiterate that he wants his private life to remain that way.
The actor comedian added: "If I'd done something actually newsworthy...then I'd cover it. But if it was more lacquered nonsense, designed to distract us from truth, then I would wisely ignore it."
We think that's the last he'll be saying on the subject.
Russell filed for divorce from Katy in December, citing irreconcilable differences. There had been wide spread speculation that the pair had been having marriage problems, although Katy is reportedly still wearing her wedding ring.

After Kelly Rowland was spotted buying a green babygrow from a New York shop last week, we knew it was only a matter of time before Beyonce's other celebrity BFF's met Blue Ivy. The baby girl's most recent visitor? Her mum's other former Destiny's Child bandmate, Michelle Williams.
Speaking on the red carpet at the BET Honours in Washington, Michelle told USA Today: "[Blue] is absolutely gorgeous. We are all in love.
"Beyonce and Jay-Z have already settled in to their role of being parents, and it's just awesome to see", she added.
But the singer wouldn't be pressed on who Blue takes after when it comes to looks.
She said: "That will be something that everybody will have to experience the same way I did. That's for her parents to disclose, not myself."
We think we can work it out for ourselves now Michelle!

Could we be any more jealous of the Duchess of Cambridge?
Not only does she have our favourite British designers clamouring to dress her (Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen above), she's also apparently just been gifted a black labrador puppy by husband, Prince William for her birthday.
Kate turned thirty last week. And according to sources, she's been spotted walking the pup near the couple's Anglesey home on several occasions since.
We're yet to see pictorial proof of the pooch, but we knew those Le Chameau wellies would come in handy.
A source told The Mirror: "The dog is ever so cute. The Duke and Duchess have been seen with it several times and he runs along at their heels."
Maybe Wills bought the little dog to keep Kate company when he apparently heads off abroad as part of his work as a Search and Rescue pilot next month?

Even though Russell Brand filed for divorce two weeks ago, we were kind of hoping that he'd sort things out with soon to be ex wife, Katy Perry. But removal vans have been spotted outside their $6.5m home in LA.
Removal men were seen picking up the comedian's things before heading across town to another property in Beverly Hills. It's thought the house is Russell's new home. It isn't clear if either star was in the house at the time but Katy will apparently remain in the pair's property until the divorce is finalised.
This news has quashed rumours that Russell would be heading back to the UK to mend his broken heart. In recent weeks he's been staying at The Savoy Hotel in London.

French actor Olivier Martinez has apparently asked actress Halle Berry to marry him. And ex-girlfriend, Kylie Minogue has already tweeted her congratulations.
According to reports, Olivier presented the actress with a diamond and emerald engagement ring by jewellery designer, Gurhan just before Christmas. She has been pictured wearing it on her ring finger, but is yet to confirm the lovely news.
The actress has previously spoken about her difficult love life. She suffered domestic violence in an early relationship, attempted suicide after her first marriage to former baseball player, David Justice broke down and split from second husband, musician Eric Benet because he was allegedly a sex addict. She also has a daughter from her previous relationship with super-hot male model, Gabriel Aubry.
This time around though it seems Halle may have found the one. A source told US Weekly: "Halle had given up on being married, but she trusts Olivier. He makes her feel safe. He's a keeper."
The couple met on set of Dark Tide in late 2010. Model Olivier dated Kylie Minogue for five years (including during her time battling breast cancer) before they split in 2007. She has remained on good terms with him. On hearing the news, the singer tweeted: "Congrats to Olivier Martinez and Halle Berry!! #Wedding".

We always knew Carey Mulligan was a stellar actress but now she's revealed that she can sing too.
In a newly-released promo clip for new film Shame, Carey's rendition of Frank Sinatra's classic, New York, New York is hauntingly beautiful.
'Shame' is the dark and often uncomfortable story of New York sex addict Brandon Sullivan (Michael Fassbender) whose life spirals out of control when his sister, Sissy (Carey Mulligan) moves in to his apartment. It hits UK cinemas on Friday (12th).
We will hear her duet with Leonardo DiCaprio or Tobey Maguire in Baz Luhrmann'sThe Great Gatsby? After this clip, we very much hope so.

Proud new parents Beyonce and Jay-Z have apparently spent $1.5m on toys and clothes for newborn daughter, Blue Ivy including a handmade solid gold $600,000 rocking horse.
According to reports, the couple went on a huge spending spree to kit out the baby girl's three nurseries before they took her home from hospital last night. And they've allegedly splashed out $15,000 on a Swarovski-studded high chair, $22,000 on a crib and bought a mini Bugatti car.
An insider apparently told The New Zealand Herald: "[Bey and Jay are] really pulling out all the stops - the two of them have spending like there's no tomorrow."
It's thought Blue has an identical nursery in each of the couple's three homes.
Although these are just rumours, in Jay-Z's tribute to his daughter, 'Glory' (released yesterday), the rapper admits that its "hard not to spoil [her] rotten".
Even Beyonce's best friend Kelly Rowland can't resist. She was pictured buying a bright green babygrow from a kids store in New York yesterday.
