We've been inundated with Taylor Swift news recently: does this girl ever take a break?! After releasing her best selling album, RED, which includes the catchy track 'I Knew You Were Trouble' (rumoured to be written about One Direction heart throb Harry Styles, natch) and her brand new highly addictive song, 22, the 23-year-old beauty has been touring the globe, appearing on red carpets everywhere and giving interviews left right and centre.
The latest editorial jewel in Miss Swifts crown is her debut cover shoot with InStyle UK, which features a 'modern day fairy tale themed shoot' (think ethereal yet edgy) and an interview in which Taylor admits she wouldn't care if a certain someone penned a song about her. "I can take it," she said. "If I'm gonna write songs about my exes they can write songs about me. That's how it works. I'm not gonna complain about it. I'm not gonna sit there and say, 'I'm the only one who can write songs about this relationship'. It's fair game."
The singer also confessed that whilst she may have an enviable career, her biggest fear is making the wrong choices and 'messing up' what she's achieved. "I don't wanna end up being awful and intolerable. Alone. Laying in a marble bathtub by myself, like sad, with a glass of wine just complaining that my life ended up alone because I pushed everyone away because I thought I was too good to hang out with anybody."
Shot by Karen Collins and styled by Natalie Hartley, the theme for the shoot was ruffles and frills, with the key piece being a pretty Valentino dress featured on the cover, which details a lace bib and ruffled sides. The soft colour palette moves through white, nudes and mushroom, whilst the fabrics were dreamy froths, silks and lace which I'll bet Taylor adored; in fact I can imagine all of the pieces would look right at home in Taylor's ACTUAL wardrobe. Although I'm not a huge fan of the wide legged Gareth Pugh trousers (bottom right), I love the rest of the picks - especially the embroidered Marchesa dress (top left, below) and the rubber dress with exaggerated collar. They're the perfect combination of girly yet grown up, don't you think?

We couldn't think of anyone better to grace the cover of the magazines Hair Issue - just look at those beachy tousled curls. The 22-year old singer has gone from cutesy country girl to glamorous pop star before our very eyes and we can't help but envy her style.
Photographed by Ellen Von Unwerth, Taylor rocks a retro 50's look that echoes her personal style (we've recently seen Miss Swift in a number of vintage inspired outfits) and quite a lot of red; well, it is the name of her new album! Throughout the editorial, Taylor sports a pillar-box red manicure and her signature cherry red lips, although I've got a feeling this is more a case of colourful lip gloss than her usual Covergirl lipstick. Her cheeks are flushed with a natural, peachy coloured blush and her eye are framed with cats eyeliner, fake lashes and some perfectly preened brows.
When it comes to her lion's mane, Taylor has obviously enlisted the help of some professional heating tongs and a very good hair spray! Taylor Swift has revealed that you won't be catching her in Maxim in her underwear anytime soon.
The country singer revealed that she's decided not to strip off for photoshoots because it's just not her.
"It's just a life decision. I like wearing pretty dresses and I like trying out new styles, but I don't feel comfortable taking my clothes off," Taylor explained.
She added, "I wouldn't wear tiny amounts of clothing in my real life, so I don't think it's necessary to wear that stuff in photoshoots."
Taylor Swift is a talented girl - not only can she sing and songwrite, but she's also recently discovered she has a talent for cutting hair - so she's decided that if her career ever fails, she'll be a hairdresser.
Taylor revealed how she discovered her gift, saying, "One day my backup singer was like, 'I feel like I need to do something drastically different'. I said, 'Why don't you cut your hair?'"
"She said, 'Let's do it now!' So we're kind of delirious from the road and I get scissors and I don't know what I'm doing! She wanted full bangs and I was like, 'I have no training! I'm the last person you should suggest to cut your hair!'"
Don't worry though guys it all ended well - Taylor finished, "She looked awesome so I started cutting all the people on the road's hair!"
Maybe she got a lot of practice with scissors cutting up Joe Jonas's clothes?
Today's Get The Look is a nice casual outfit from Taylor Swift.
The singer was out in Paris looking very, well, Parisian, in a striped top with a flared black mini skirt which she paired with black shoes tied with a bow and a tan bag.
The former 'couple' were spotted together arriving at Bound'ry, a restaurant near Taylor's home in Nashville on Wednesday.
But, Jaylor shippers, that doesn't mean they're back together - a witness said, "They did eat. They were cordial to one another, but not affectionate."
Another backed up the story, saying, "There was no holding hands, but they seemed happy together. They sat next to the fireplace just chatting away."
So not back together then. We have to say we're glad, because despite how close you guys' votes in this poll were, we still think it was all weird anyway.
It seems like Taylor Swift is sharpening up her pencil for another album full of 'How could he?!' songs after her 'split' from Jake Gyllenhaal - apparently the actor left her heartbroken.
A source said, "Taylor is really upset and hurt. She doesn't know what she did for him to just put a stop to it. She feels really burned by him."
Another source agress - they allegedly spotted her at the People's Choice Awards last week. They said, "She was not her usual bubbly, over-animated self. She didn't eat anything, seemed very sad and definitely wasn't having a good time."
Taylor Swift (like Drew Barrymore) attended the Covergirl's 50th Anniversary party, where she no doubt celebrated her win for Favourite Country Artist at the People's Choice Awards earlier in the evening.
For her turn on the red carpet, Taylor turned to a classic LBD by Mark & James for Badgley Mischka: a black strapless dress with a sheer overlay featuring sequins aplently, because let's face it, she's Taylor Swift.
She looked alright... but in no way showstopping. We love her hair up though, she should wear it like that more often.
