BREAKING NEWS EVERYBODY: Taylor Momsen has quit acting!
We're so sad.
So very, very sad.
She told Elle, when they asked if she had any acting projects planned, "I quit acting, actually."
"I quit Gossip Girl and now tour and am in a band and that's pretty much all I want to do. Hopefully I'll be able to only do that for the rest of my life," she explained.

The Teen Choice Awards took place yesterday in LA and the crème de la crème of tween entertainers turned up in their best summery dresses and wearing their biggest smiles.
And then there was Taylor Momsen, who clearly ended up on the bright orange carpet after getting lost on her way to a seedy biker bar to meet the rest of her 'rock' band. I mean clearly she can't have meant to attend. She's 'f*cking out of her mind' after all, and definitely doesn't want to be a role model for kids because she lives On The Edge.
She's dangerous, guys.
Taylor apparently thought she may as well pose for some pictures while she was there, and put on her best scary face and three inches of black eyeliner for the occasion, as per usual.
Although, we do have to give it to her, she did at least put on some trousers.
Taylor Momsen has decided that she's okay with the fact that people care more about her wearing a rubber dress then they do about her music.
If she really cared about her music maybe she would stop wearing rubber dresses then.
"[My demeanour] does take over my music but that's also tabloids. That's their response to who I am," Taylor explained.
True. But if you dressed less like a baby prostitute it wouldn't be so bad.
She added, "I don't have control over what people are going to write and it's always going to be part of it. But fashion, music... it all comes together. Tabloids are going to focus on my shoes and not my music, that's just what they do."
Taylor Momsen has revealed that she's not as hard as we all think and she wants a boyfriend!
Aww, poor Taylor.
She told BANG Showbiz:"Do I have time to meet guys? Well, at the moment not particularly, I don't have a boyfriend right now."
Taylor added, "I love what I'm doing and I'm really proud of the record and excited about the tour, which is all positive. But, you know, I'm a girl. It's not a priority for me but I'm a chick and every girl wants a guy. There's no one off the top of my head who takes my fancy though."
Also Taylor, being "crazy" and "out of [your] mind" can't be helpful either. It would tend to scare people off.

Gossip Girl star Connor Paolo, who plays Eric van der Woodsen, has been defending his old co-star Taylor Momsen, saying that people are too hard on her and can't judge her because she is only 17.
I think you'll find you are wrong about that Connor.
"She's 17 years old," he said. "I don't think anyone has any right to say anything negative being that she - as mature and self-possessed as she is - is still young. It's not fair. No-one has a right to attack someone of that age."
Connor also added that he "dearly" misses her after being absent from most of the last series of Gossip Girl, but he expects her to make a return. Despite how difficult she apparently is.
He said, "Jenny's always lying in wait. She could pop out of the bushes with her machete of eyeliner at any time."
Taylor Momsen has revealed that she once went to a Britney Spears concert.
The singer mentioned it in passing in an interview - and then tried to combat it by listing all the 'serious' musicians she's seen.
She said, "I went to a lot of little shows in St. Louis. Oh, I went to a Britney Spears concert."
And then: "But the first one that had a real impact on me, though, was The White Stripes. I was 8 or 9, and it was the first real rock 'n' roll show I'd been to live. I mean, I'd seen the videos of Woodstock and The Who DVDs that my dad had, but that was the first one I'd been to that was so overwhelmingly loud with just a massive sound system. It had an amazing impact on me. It was so present. It was definitely a turning point for me where I went, "There is nothing else I want to do but that. I want to play on stage and perform in a rock band." I'd already been writing songs for a while when I saw them, but it just kind of solidified everything for me."
It's okay if you like Britney Spears Taylor, no one will judge you. You are, after all, the girl who wrote this.

When I see that Taylor Momsen has been talking crap again, it feels like the universe is giving me a present - she just comes out with the most ridicolus confusing hilarious rubbish!
Taylor is again insisting that she is 'crazy' and 'out of [her] mind'.
If she is so mental, why is she not locked up? Riddle me that, readers.
Anyway, she said, "I probably am a bad influence. The other day this reporter brought his 12-year-old daughter to an interview. She was looking at me, open-mouthed, like, 'I want stripper shoes, daddy!'"
Only 5 years younger then you Taylor.
Taylor continued, "He hated me! But I'm not saying, 'Be like me'. I hope girls read what I say in interviews - they should just be themselves. They wouldn't want to be like me. I'm crazy. I'm f**king out of my mind. I've been told I'm out of my mind since I was 11."
Yeah okay, whatever.

Taylor Momsen has blamed the media (we're always the scapegoat) for her comments about her parents ruining her life by putting her into Ford models, and essentially allowing her to live her dream of being a moody, badly dressed singer.
Those sadists.
To "set the record straight", Taylor told Kerrang, "Maybe I didn't have the childhood people think you should have, but I still went through the ages. I was still a child."
Er... okay, we kind of got you weren't talking figuratively...
She added, "I think my parents have learned by this point that none of what they read is probably true, and words can be put in your mouth."
Yes, and they can also come out of it.

Taylor Momsen has found another thing to be surly and rebel against: she has discovered that she is a 'product' of the entertainment industry.
The actress and singer said, "You get more insight as you get older, on everything. I kind of woke up one morning and was like, 'Oh I see what's happening, I get everything'. I woke up and was like, 'I get it, I'm a product'."
Taylor explained, "Fame just kind of happens overnight. No one prepares you for it. On Gossip Girl, I was just going to work, doing what I've always done, and then all of a sudden you're like, 'Woah!'"
"But you get used to it. You ignore it - because whatever people say about me doesn't bother me at all. If you're in high school or college or at work, someone's not going to like you. It's inevitable. But it doesn't mean anything."
