Her first collection with River Island was a sure fire hit after being revealed at London Fashion Week last season, so it comes as no surprise that rebellious popstrel Rihanna is set to release an additional high summer offering to her fans.
Along with the above snap of herself relaxing in a two piece set from her new collection, Rihanna tweeted, "Look at you....now look at us!!!! #RIHverIsland SUMMER collection is available online and in stores on May 25th!! Thank you for supporting the Spring collection in such major way!! Enjoy #RiverIsland".
After minor glimpses and a few hints at what this second offering is all about from the Barbadian star, River Island have released the behind the scenes video below which features RiRi herself talking through elements of the collection including a tie dye jumpsuit, slinky black dresses and a printed parka. Rihanna says in the vid, "I made a piece for everybody in my crew - we all have different body types, different tastes, some are braver than others. I think like that because that's how women in the world are, we're all different, we all like different things."
She added, "When we started doing this collection with River Island we decided we've got to get our hands dirty and see everything behind the scenes, start from scratch. I just wanted stuff that I'm going to wear because at the end of the day, that's what got me into designing. I'd see things on the rack which were great but they could be a little more me, or fit me a little better, or be a little longer, or be a little shorter. I needed to make clothes for fat days, I just wanted to make things that I want to wear. I was being selfish". Check Rihanna out in the video above and watch out for the collection which is available from 25th May.

Rihanna is not the only one who gets her inspiration from and consistently pays homage to Mr Karl Lagerfeld. Along with fun loving gals Cara Delevingne and Rita Ora, Badgal Ri Ri has been wearing the fashion icon across her chest in the form of a graphic printed tee and as always sharing all her Twitter and Instagram followers.
Styling it up with super short denim cut offs, black long-line blazer and stacked gold blong jewellery, Rihanna showcased the tee whilst out and about in New York during a stop off from her world Diamonds tour. Following her recent successful fashion line with River Island, of which she is already working on her next season range for Autumn / Winter 2013, as well as a sell-out collaboration with MAC, it seems our favourite bad girl can do no wrong at the moment.
It's official. Summer is on it's way and our favourite famous faces stateside are getting the ball rolling with some true sunny season style. None more so this week than our favourite bad girl, Rihanna, who stepped out during her Diamonds tour wearing a series of sunshine yellow looks.
All eyes are on the barbadian popstrel at the moment and she's not afraid to share her style with her fans Instagramming her favourite looks. The cut out bodycon dress worn by RiRi comes from celebrity fashion line, Whitney Eve, by style icon Whitney Port. The dress which is loved by celebrities world wide including the Kardashians and Fearne Cotton, features cut out back, vest shape and stretchy jersey fabric.
Rihanna also showed off her amazing bod in matching bikini by Andie which features triangle shape, side bottom tie, gold metal detailing and subtle grid pattern. Like Rihanna's all yellow looks? Shop the exact items above.

We cannot get enough of Rihanna's recent collaboration with River Island - and, it appears, neither can she. The latest look Instagramed by the Barbadian beauty shows Bad Gal Riri dressed head to toe in her own collection. Stating 'Rockin dat for #RIHforRIVERISLAND', Rihanna is showing us exactly how she wants her pieces to be worn. The rebellious popstrel who is rumoured to have recently split from Chris Brown (again), is currently on a world wide tour and keeps things casual off-stage with a grungy feel.

RiRi is wearing the Sheer Overall Maxi Dress (£60); a utility feel floor length number with sheer panelling. Rihanna describes it as one of her favourite pieces from the collection, stating of her own design that "it's my girly version of something grunge".
Fancy completing the look just like one of our style icons Rihanna? Match the dress with her Cropped White T-Shirt and Tattoo Pendant Trucker Hat, both available from River Island. For the full look, finish it off with a leather cuff and ghetto gold jewellery.

Rihanna isn't a stranger to Twitter, or Instagram for that matter. If you follow Ri Ri on the social networking sites, you'll know what I mean. The controversial pop star posts images at least every hour online and this week we were treated to a sneak peek of her top secret upcoming clothing collection with River Island.
We told you about the collaboration back in July when news first broke, but after a cheeky preview what are your thoughts? Along with the snap, Rihanna posted, "My bitches so Bvalgari... Just directed my first ad campaign for my new collection with River Island, Spring". With an obvious source of inspiration and famous model face Jourdan Dunn on set, we reckon Rihanna's got all the ingredients for a fly-off the shelves collection. Of the clothing range, Rihanna said, "I've been wanting to design my own collection for some time. River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family run business also really appealed to me. I find London really inspiring and River Island loves to have fun with clothes. I'm looking forward to working with them and creating something really special."

Rihanna wowed the fashion crowds at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last night, and not just with her spectacular performance! The 'Good Girl Gone Bad' gave the VS models a run for their money as she took to the stage in a number of raunchy outfits, showcasing her unbelievable figure.
Prior to her performance, the 24-year-old singer walked the pink carpet in head-to-toe Miu Miu, sporting a monochrome look straight from the Miu Miu SS13 collection (a crushed white midi skirt teamed with a silk black bra-let) and Miu Miu slate suede ankle strap heels. Thankfully Ri Ri kept her accessorising simple - wearing a silver necklace and delicate gold anklet - finishing the look with a gorgeous vintage inspired hair style and sultry dark lips. Look at her working those soft short waves!
I absolutely adore this whole ensemble; it's daring, fashion forward, yet classic too. Although Rihanna still enjoys pushing the boundaries, her personal style has definitely fallen in step this year - she's more confident, polished and aware of what suits her. What do you think of this look? Do you prefer Rihanna's ghetto laid back approach to fashion, or do you dream of seeing more outfits like this? Let us know in the comments below.
Ever since Ri Ri has gone back to her roots au natural with her super short pixie hairdo she's been styling it out in her usual rebellious, controversial and attention grabbing form; think thigh high boots teamed with just an oversized graphic tee, androgynous masculine tailoring and sporty sequin mini dresses (have your say on our yay or nay on that here).
But this week we've seen Rihanna in a whole new light in a simple monochrome dress, a pop of red lipstick and the gold jewellery we all know and love on her. What do you make of Rihanna's more demure look? If you fancy stealing it for yourself, check out our product picks above.

Rihanna has been in the limelight of late with a recent trip to our very own capital. The Barbadian popstrel was making waves on a night out in London having apparently early gotten kicked out of a nightclub. All we can think is, how much fun would a she be on a night out?
As well as making waves on the party scene, Rihanna has been styling it out with some rebellious outfits including this one which she tweeted last week. What do you make of her off duty party girl style? We've shopped her look below so if you fancy channelling some of Ri Ri's style, check out the picks below.
We've just learnt some exciting fashion news. One of our favourite style icons, good old Rihanna, is set to be teaming up with UK retail giant River Island to create her very first fashion collection. We're honoured that Ri Ri has chosen to debut her fashion offering here in the UK with a wealth of state-side options available to her as well we're sure. So what made the Barbadian postrel choose our humble River Island for her sure-to-sell out collection?
Rihanna sad, "I've been wanting to design my own collection for some time. River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family run business also really appealed to me. I find London really inspiring and River Island loves to have fun with clothes. I'm looking forward to working with them and creating something really special."
We actually agree with Rihanna here and reckon it's a partnership made in fashion heaven - roll on 2013 we say. Whilst details on this may be lacking at present (stay tuned for more later this week we suspect...), our friends over at Catwalk Queen showed us the trailer for her brand new fashion TV show, Styled to Rock, which is well worth checking out and you can also shop her OSOYOU Style File here.

Rihanna certainly showed off her stamina this week as she performed at BBC Radio 1's Hackney Weekend in London on both Saturday and Sunday, as well as finding time to party until 3am with her mates! The 24-year-old singer, who was joined on stage by Jay-Z, closed the free festival last night with an impressive Ancient Egyptian themed show (featuring a giant glittering sphinx, cat statues, hieroglyphic banners and a rotating golden throne!) that influence her outfit choice as much as her music.
The Barbadian songstress took to the stage in a black leather jacket adorned with golden Egyptian symbols, a long white t-shirt detailing a mirrored print of a big cat growling, heaps of ghetto gold jewellery (including hooped earrings, a chunky collar style necklace and some interesting embellished sunglasses), super short shorts with corset style fastenings at the side, fishnet bicycle shorts, and a pair of extremely sought after Air Yeezy 2 kicks designed by Kanye West.
A lot of people have hated on this look, but for me, this is one of Rihanna's best on stage outfits I've seen. She looked comfortable as she bounced around the stage in her trainers, she didn't lose her sex appeal by covering up thanks to those almost invisible shorts (come on, she has FANTASTIC legs) and she's bang on trend with her Egyptian inspired ensemble. Perhaps Ri-Ri picked up a few style tips from new best friend Rita Ora, who sported an evil eye necklace a few weeks ago?
It's not just the celebrities who've taken a shine to Ancient Egypt; hieroglyphic style graffiti prints and gold detailing were seen all over Topshop Unique's SS12 catwalk, and are now starting to trickle down to the high street. To get the look, embrace your street savvy style like Rihanna and mix graphic prints with gold jewellery and high tops, layering different fabrics to create a fun and fresh vibe.
