As Kate Middleton and Prince William left LA today (or was it yesterday? The time difference has been very confusing) they had time to meet one more celebrity, Elle Woods Reese Witherspoon!
The actress met the Duchess of Cambridge at an event for the Tusk Trust, an animal conservation charity where they had a lovely chat over a glass of lemon infused water.
Wonder if Kate ever saw Legally Blonde.

Reese Witherspoon has hit the promotional circuit with her Water For Elephants co-star Robert Pattinson, and you know what this means - she's readied an army of pretty cocktail dresses that we're all going to want, but can't have due to their no doubt astronomical price.
Luckily we're here to help you find the next best thing, the purchase of which won't end with you having to remortgage your house and live in a box, with only your £4,000 dress for company.
Reese attended the Spanish premiere of the movie in Barcelona, and gamely posed in front of a crowd who, lets face it, were mostly there for Edward Cullen.

Reese Witherspoon has been doing some damage control after the internet went wild when she referred to doing her sex scenes with Robert Pattinson for Water For Elephants as 'disgusting'.
Because he had a cold. Fair enough really.
But she's determined for us all to know how lucky she feels to have gotten to chance to have pretend sex with Edward Cullen. Lest she start getting death threats from Twilight fans we suppose.
Reese said, "Well so many people are saying, 'Oh, well you guys had this sex scene and he was sick.' And I'm like, 'Even if this guy's sick, I'm so lucky, I can't even tell you!'"
She added, "Not only is he super sexy and obviously incredibly handsome, but he's a really lovely, nice person."
Reese also revealed that the resulting scene, despite the "snorting and snotting" is still epically hot. She said, "Sexy doesn't cover it. I don't know how we got this rating. That's all I'm gonna say!"
Interesting. Clearly we will have to see for ourselves.

Reese Witherspoon has described her sex scene with Robert Pattinson in Water For Elephants as 'disgusting'.
Hold your gasps, Twilight fans, she has a good reason.
He had a cold.
Reese told In Touch, "Rob possibly had the most hideous horrible cold of any co-star I've ever had to do a love scene with ever in my entire life."
She added some unnecessary details to her story: "He was literally snorting and snotting through every second of it - and it was not appealing. I'm talking green, infectious, disgusting - I'm not kidding!"
"I'm going to say it's a little bit of a downer. I was a little disappointed. It wasn't sexy.", she finished.
Bleargh. You would have thought they would have given him the day off.

Reese Witherspoon became a Mrs again this weekend - she got married to her agent fiancé Jim Toth.
We're a little bit sad about this. We always hoped she'd get back with Ryan Phillippe one day... Sigh.
The actress wore a custom-designed Monique Lhuillier gown to the ceremony which was held on her 6-acre ranch in Ojai, California in front of 120 family members and friends (including Reneé Zellweger, Alyssa Milano, and Tobey Maguire).
Not at the wedding was Reese's ex Jake Gyllenhaal, who went bowling with his friends instead, which people seem to be surprised about for some reason.
