Whilst most of us were catching up on sleep over here in the UK, Miley Cyrus was busy causing a Twitter/Facebook storm and whipping her fans (and celebrity pals) into a frenzy. Here's all you need to know:

Urban Dictionary describes twerking as "the vigorously shaking of your Gluteus Maximus", which is pretty much the best definition I've heard.
Whilst wearing a Unicorn onesie.
If you love Miley as much as we do, you'll know she's a sucker for a onesie, or as she refers to it, a "1Z". To get her twerk on, the singer busted out the only pyjama suit that would suffice - a unicorn. As you can imagine, every unicorn onesie ever made now appears to be sold out online (seriously) but if you want to make like Miley and dance in an animal suit, we recommend the official Kigu's which you can buy over at Urban Outfitters.
Cara Delevingne, Pharrell, Amber Rose and Will.i.am LOVED IT.
See? I'd pay to see Miley and Cara do a double twerk in a unicorn VS dinosaur onesie situation. Also, Will.i.am's hashtags are the best.
She's wearing her engagement ring again.
She may be in the middle of some emotional stuff with her again/off again fiancé Liam Hemsworth (sniff) but Miley's wearing her engagement ring again - could all this happy twerking be the sign of a possible reunion? We hope so.
The girl can really shake her thing.

It looks like Miley Cyrus likes a bit of online high street fashion as much as the rest of us. This week, the popstrel was spotted out and about wearing this striped monochrome dress from online fashion destination, ASOS.
Styled up in her newly found quirky way, Miley matched the goemetric patterned dress with super gold bling jewellery, height gifting platform heels and carried a tough looking biker in case those shoulder cut outs cause her to get a little chilly. The dress, which comes from ASOS Collection, is made from a Made from a soft stretch jersey fabric and features a high neck with cut out shoulder design, chevron stripe to the top and cut-out back with a tie closure.

Over the last few months, I've become slightly addicted to Miley Cyrus. Not in a "I'm going to get 15 tattoos of her face" kind of addicted; more an appreciation of the woman she's turned into *sob*. In a seductive yet brooding pose, the pretty 20-old-singer looks more than comfortable in her role as cover star for Cosmopolitan's March 2013 issue, baring almost all in a white Roberto Cavalli blazer alongside the headline, 'It's Miley B*tches'. Yes, it certainly is. The self confessed Twitter addict even shared a sneak preview of her Cosmo photo shoot with her adoring followers over the weekend, the popstrel referenced Black Eyed Peas song, 'My Humps' in the cheeky caption, "My lovely lady lumps. Check it out."
Leaving any trace of her loveable yet annoying squeaky clean teen Disney character Hannah Montana behind, Miley has transformed into a dog rescuing, yoga loving, head shaving, sailor swearing, witty young woman who inspires teens everywhere whilst simultaneously sending them green with envy thanks to her hunky Hunger Games fiancé, Liam Hemsworth - SWOON. Anyway, look at how hot she looks inside! We're loving the sheer pastel colours mixed with a masculine cut jacket and chunky gold jewellery.
During the accompanying interview and the behind-the-scenes video, Miley comes across as a down-to-earth celeb, happy to talk about everything from not playing the Disney game and what it must be like to be openly gay and a musician, to taking photos of her topless future husband. "The other day, I turned on the pool heater and it was steaming, and he [Liam] walked outside and took off his clothes and jumped in the pool. I was like, "I'm gonna faint--the hottest guy of my life is in a steaming pool. This looks like a Playgirl shoot." So I took a photo and made it the background on my phone. My best friend grabbed my phone and was like, "Who's that? He is so hot!" That's my hubby!"
When questioned about her personal style, Miley admits she's a bit of a hoarder. "I have so many things that are all Victorian, from you know, 1920's, I have a hoarding problem where I just wanna own the clothes, even if they're like, too ugly to wear, I buy them because they're too ugly to wear, but I just wanna own them," she explains. Continuing to discuss fashion faux pas, Miley reveals, "I definitely had some sketchy fashion moments in the beginning of my career coz my Mom would style me and there's been some sketchy choices, like disgusting bedazzled cross like something, with like, a bedazzled jacket - tacky."

According to Miley Cyrus, it was just one of those CUHHH-RAZY pant days. She's not wrong there. The teen popstrel, recent hot bod and new undercut extraordinaire, tweeted this snap of herself showing us quite how crazy she can be. Miley opted for a pair of rather jazzy leggings and teamed them with a sheer white tee, cute triangle lace bra and her statement Dr Martens.

You'd have to be blind not to notice the vast transformation that Miley Cyrus has made over the last few weeks. First, it was that dramatic change to platinum blonde, the nose ring, and then she had a bit of length cut off her locks; all this made us just a little suspicious - what was next? This, that's what was next...
The squeaky clean teen (pardon the One Tree Hill reference for any of you fans out there) has successfully shrugged her super glam and girly image with an ultra-rebellious punk feel look which we're actually quite enjoying. The success and longevity of her newly styled undercut however, remains to be seen. What do you make of Miley's new look?
Yesterday, the American star tweeted the below snap of herself with the caption, "muahhhh" in what looks like a rather trashed up hotel room; what does this say about Miley's antics? We haven't heard from Miley Cyrus in a while, but she's back again, and she's still annoyed that people think she is a child - she is 18 years-old now, god, she can wear Agent Provocateur underwear on stage if she wants to, OK?
"People see me as this perfect Disney star, and the moment I put out a record that says, 'I'm not 11 years old anymore,' people look down on me," she told actual rock star Joan Jett in an interview for V Magazine.
Miley added, "That's why I have always looked up [to] you. When you came out people were shocked that there was a chick that wanted to rock as hard as the guys."
People aren't shocked that you want to 'rock out' Miley. People are shocked you posed for a magazine naked under a sheet at like 13, poll-danced at a kids awards show, and generally are a bit trashy.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were love's young dream last summer but devastatingly split up after just a few months together.
But it looks like the couple, who met during the filming of hit movie The Last Song, have decided to give it another try!
Miley and Liam were seen kissing and holding hands this weekend in Sherman Oaks in LA, which is pretty definite evidence if you ask us.
Plus there's the tweet that Miley sent from her brand new twitter (oh yeah, she's rejoined. Even though she said "Twitter should just be banned from this universe".) congratulating Liam on his newest role.
She said, "I can say the best news ever now! Dang word travels fast! Liam booked the role of Gale in Hunger Games! I gotta go read all the books now!"
Miley Cyrus has been off the radar for a while (shame because we like writing about her) but she's back today, and she's again professing her right to be imperfect.
She told The Daily Telegraph, "I mess up - there you go! But if you live your life trying to be perfect, you don't really live your life ever, because you don't really make any mistakes and at the end of your life you won't be very smart or wise."
Wow Miley, how deep.
The singer explained that while she might do naughty things like polldancing at the Teen Choice Awards and smoking salvia, she doesn't lip sync, and that's what matters.
Miley said, "I don't lip-sync. I would rather someone say I sound like crap, than have people see me lip-sync."
She added, "I want to show people who I really am, more than just what they see on TV. It's all about the music."
We make fun of Miley Cyrus quite a lot, but you can't say she's not a good daughter.
The singer was out eating with her mum Tish and as usual the paparazzi were waiting there like the ever circling vultures they are.
One of them made the mistake of shoving past Tish to get a better angle of Miley, and, well... she wasn't happy. In fact, this is probably the most we've ever respected her! Check out Miley sticking up for her mum in the video above!
