Leighton Meester wore a modified version of the dress as her character Blair in Gossip Girl in an episode titled "The Princesses and the Frog" during Season 4.

Even though countless of their famous peers before them have seen the naked photo they sent someone become their downfall, it still doesn't stop them from taking pictures of parts of their body they'd rather not have us see and then being embarrassed and shocked as they watch them sweep the internet.
Lady Gaga fell foul of it just this week (although we doubt she minds). You'd think they'd learn from everyone else's mistakes but no. Everyone from Disney princesses Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus to wannabe Peaches Geldof have seen their sexy snaps almost destroy their credibility and career (well except for Peaches, she didn't have any in the first place).

Leighton Meester has revealed that she had a pretty hard time at school when she was younger - so she's happy she got to have a better experience while at school in Gossip Girl.
The actress explained, "School is not fun for most people, but the people who do have fun are usually making fun of other people, which sucks. By no means did I have a conventional upbringing, but I was brought up with love. I don't believe it matters what kind of place you come from."
Leighton revealed, "I didn't tell people I was an actress. Then one day, I went into school and someone was holding a magazine and they were like, 'Is this you?' It was just a small photo spread - I was 14 - and I said, 'Yeah, it's me', and they were like, 'Man, you are such a dork'."
"One of them said, 'You're bigger on TV'. I said, 'What do you mean?' And they said, 'Well, you look kind of fat'. Kids are so mean! What's wrong with them?"

She's got a great voice, so it's no surprise that Leighton is planning on launching a music career. She said recently, "I recorded three songs recently. I have, like, 20 more to do."

Leighton Meester has clarified the whole Leighton Meester Leaving Gossip Girl stories (including ours), saying that her quotes were misinterpreted.
Stories insinuating that Leighton had had enough of the show swept the web earlier this week, but the actress says that's not what she meant.
Leighton told Access Hollywood, "Someone asked me the other day, 'What do you see after Gossip Girl - when does it end?' and I said, 'I guess in a couple years, that's when my contract is up'."
She added it was: "Nothing crazy. Things come to an end and I honestly don't know what's going to happen. I love being on the show, so I can't predict the future."
Leighton Meester has been talking about love: she think's it's wonderful!
Leighton said, "It's wonderful to be in love. And it's definitely wonderful to cuddle and have sex and get to experience life with somebody. But it's okay if you don't find him and you're 24. You can find it someday."
Leighton also revealed that she relates to the complicated relationship between her character Blair Waldorf and on-screen love interest Chuck Bass.
She added: "I can really relate to it - not necessarily because it's this dramatic, tumultuous relationship, but because the way they love each other is very real, and not for the sake of being dramatic. It's actual love. There's nobody for each other but them."
Leighton gushed, "She is full of surprises. As an actress, she is so giving and talented. She's super down-to-earth and she makes dirty jokes. She's just a cool chick."

And if that's not enough, Leighton added, : "She's gorgeous without any make-up on. She came to [the film's] set at 5am looking really hot."
