Nodding once more to the metallics trend we've seen on the red carpet recently, Kylie absolutely dazzled as she pick up her gong from Glamour magazine's Women of the Year awards. Wearing a floor-length gold gown, she sparkled and shone as only Kylie really can. We're loving that unusual neckline.
Our favourite pop princess (sorry, Britney) was awarded with an outstanding contribution award and deservedly so! The Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears presented the award, saying that "She is the best girlfriend a gay boy could have."
We all wish we were best friends with Kylie, Jake. Stop being such a show off.
Other winners of the night included solo artist Jessie J and actress Eva Longoria. Fearne Cotton picked up an award for best radio presenter while her BFF Holly Willoughby was awarded the presenter gong.
The night definitely belonged to the 44-year-old Aussie, though. Congrats, Kylie!
This Acne dress is getting a lot of love from our favourite celebrities. Kylie looks hot in it, doesn't she? She tweeted a picture of her in this dress with the message "Hello Cannes!" as she got ready for her debut at the film festival. Everyone has been looking divine at this year's festival. Top marks, celebrity folk.
She's not the first person to wear this £310 Acne dress at Cannes, though. Dr Who? star Karen Gillan wore the dress on a photo shoot in Cannes last week! That was aaaaages ago, Kylie. Perhaps she hasn't been reading the style pages of any papers recently.
We love this dress, and have to say that we think Kylie wore it better (just by a margin). It looks fab with her little biker jacket. Is that a slither of leopard print we see on her clutch? Nice touch, Ms Minogue.
Want the dress? It's £310, and you can buy it at Net-a-Porter.
Well these quite strange pictures dropped into our inbox this morning and confused us slightly: firstly is that really Kylie Minogue, and secondly, what is she doing in that weird hat?
To answer our own questions, yes that is pop star Kylie Minogue, and she is wearing that hat because yesterday she attended a graduation ceremony to pick up her honoury degree!
Kylie picked up an honorary Doctor of Health Science award from Anglia Ruskin University in Essex for her work as a Breast Cancer Awareness campaigner. In her acceptance speech, she told the audience, "I never went to university so my dad will be very proud when he sees the pictures."

Britney Spears has disclosed that she's a big fan of Kylie Minogue (as enthusiastically as Brit can ever be) and that she would be well up for collaborating with her!
Great news for Kylie, who was last week talking about her love of the singer and how 'awesome' it would be if they could duet.
"I'm sure it would be a great thing," Minogue said. "I think she's great. I've met her before and we've worked with some of the same people who help put our tours together."
On the subject, Britney told Capital FM this morning, "I think that would be brilliant. I think that would be so much fun."
"I'd do a pop record. She's great. I love her."
We really hope this happens. Do you?

Kylie Minogue has been speaking about how her battle with cancer has affected her chances of having children, revealing that she doesn't think she'll ever be able to get pregnant.
But, says Kylie, she's considering looking into adoption and surrogacy because she would like to have a baby.
The singer told Grazia, "I do think about [children] and I would absolutely look into those options because children and family are very important to me. It's something in my mind."
Kylie added, "I would really love to be a mother, but I just don't think it can ever happen. After everything I've been through - the treatment for breast cancer - I may not actually be able to conceive."
:( We say go for surrogacy. Kylie needs a daughter to teach about the powers of hot pants.

Kylie Minogue has been talking about how she feels being outshone - not by her sister Dannii of course, we're talking about her most famous asset. Her bum.
The 42-year old singer said, "After the 'Spinning Around' video, people became a lot more interested in my behind than they were in me. One newspaper ran a front page declaring it a national treasure. I really did laugh at that. It's not like it can actually do anything, except wiggle.
Kylie added, "My face has been outshone by my bottom. It makes me laugh, and every time I pull on a pair of hotpants I think to myself, 'This is the last time', but it never is. I haven't quite put an end date on hotpants yet."

It's the start of a good year for Cheryl Cole: the singer has been nominated for two Brit Awards!
Cheryl will be hoping to win Best British Female Solo Artist and Best British Single, for Parachute.
Other nominees include Tinie Tempah, who snagged four nominations, and Katy Perry, Kylie Minogue, Alicia Keys, Rihanna and Robyn who are all nominated for International Female Solo Artist.
The most surprising nomination though was the cast of Glee's nomination for Best International Breakthrough Act! So funny. Hope that means Lea Michele will turn up in an amazing outfit. We'll have to wait for February 15th to see!
Are you happy with the nominations?

Kylie Minogue was spotted out and about today, and she must have read our Get The Look yesterday because she seems to have copied Jennifer Lopez's leopard print shoes!
We want to talk about her jacket though: everyone needs to have a classic black blazer, they're great for smartening up casual jeans and layering over a simple top if you want some added warmth without a bulky coat, as demonstrated perfectly here.
Her's is probably Balmain, but if you want Kylie's look check, out the black tuxedo jacket on the right. Trimmed with mother of pearl buttons, it's great for for a smart look for work and it's half price right now at Karen Millen for £99! For a younger, more stylish look go for the Black Loopback Blazer from Miss Selfridge with tiny puffed shoulders on the left, for just £30.
