We all have our own personal celebrations come St Paddy's day. For some it's drinking copious amounts of Guinness until they can't walk, for Kate Middleton it was donning her finest green attire and stepping out with hubbie Prince William for a St Patrick's Day parade. The Duchess of Cambridge attended the event in the fine British weather (it was raining) hiding her baby bump and getting into the spirit of going green in more ways than one, by recycling one of her previous wears; an Emilia Wickstead green coat.

The Duchess kept the look low key with all black accessories including tights, gloves, heels and hat, whilst continuing the green theme with a festive corsage. As well as her stylish attire, Kate brought news to the event that whilst she would like to have a baby boy in her arms in four months time, William has stated a preference for a girl. I guess we'll just have to wait and see who wins that one.
What do you make of Kate's look? Feeling inspired? If so check out our green coat finds below.

This weekend we were treated to a peek at a pregnant Kate Middleton who braved the cold in the Swiss Alps whilst attending a friend's wedding. With no real sign just yet of outward maternity dressing, The Duchess attended the event with hubbie Prince William and brother in law Harry, keeping true to her signature style with formal camel coloured coat and tonal chocolate brown winter accessories.

Rumour has it The Duchess of Cambridge was wearing an animal print Max Mara dress and a structured brown brimless hat by Lock & Company. We think Kate looked the picture of health with a glowing complexion doing her best to keep cosy channelling winter warmer chic to perfection.

Congratulations go to Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William who today announced that they're expecting a baby!
We should have guessed really; after admiring Catherine's gorgeous tartan McQueen outfit yesterday I couldn't help but wonder if we had a "bag over the bump" situation. It may have been a coincidence, but after looking back at photographs from the weekend trip, she is holding that clutch like a pro early-stage-pregnancy celeb...
The beloved Duchess tried to throw us all off the scent of a royal baby last week by having a fringe cut in, but it looks as though the palace are unable to hide it/contain their excitement any longer. We can't wait to see the new arrival - and K Mid's maternity wardrobe! Will the ever stylish Victoria Beckham be on hand to give her a few tips? Will we see bespoke McQueen outfits? Will the LK Bennett heels be thrown out to make room for the flats? Will the royal bundle of joy be taking style advice from Mum or Dad? We'll have to wait until July to find out!
Our favourite royal has been out and about this weekend. Yes, the people's princess, AKA Kate Middleton has been showcasing her signature style for all to see wearing a fabulous green tartan check coat by her preferred designer of choice, McQ Alexander McQueen. Doesn't she look winter chic perfect?

The Duchess, who has just debuted a lovely new hair do featuring more of a seventies defined fringe, was out in our recent cold weather visiting her former prep school, St Andrews. To mimic her old school uniform, Kate followed suit to the current pupils by wearing this tartan dress coat teamed with thick black tights and knee high boots. What do you make of her winter warmer look?

If you were going to bag this look direct from the designer, like Kate did, you'd be looking at spending a small fortune (basically no-one would be in for any Christmas presents from you), so we've searched the online high street for some affordable alternatives to steal Kate's style. Check them out above.
Kate Middleton has been travelling about here there and everywhere of late, but yesterday saw her attend her first royal engagement since returning back to home soil. The Duchess of Cambridge attended an event in London with her hubbie in toe wearing a berry coloured two piece suit with paired down accessories.

Weekend by MaxMara Nerone Tweed Jacket £289, Warehouse Lace Insert Cami £25, New Look Dark Red Belted Ponte Skater Skirt £12.99, Carvela Alas suede courts £85, Premium 120 Den Ultimate Opaque tights £7.
We're really liking this look on Kate, it somehow has a more modern take than her usually formal wears; perhaps it's the shorter length? Or flared out hem? Either way teamed with a black and gold lace cami, opaque tights and simple courts, the look is still formal, but with a more carefree youthful edge. What do you make of her latest look?

Kate Middleton's been at it again; recycling those formal shift dresses is becoming a keen habit of the Duchess of Cambridge. We say good work, if we shelled out for a £150 Whistles dress, we'd wear it more than once too.

Yes, last night at the London 2012 Olympics Closing ceremony (How good were the Spice Girls btw?!) K-Middy took her seat next to brother in law Prince Harry (or Henry, we're not sure now) re-wore the same blue printed Whistles Bella dress that we spotted on her at the Queen's Jubilee concert.

Complete with ribbon style waist belt, we think the Duchess looked lovely as ever, don't you? Unfortunately the exact Whistles dress is out of stock (no surprises there), but if you're keen to steal K-Middy's style, the same dress is available in a chic leopard print version, which we think is equally as Kate friendly. Want it? Check it out over at Whistles for £150 above.

Kate Middleton made another appearance at the Olympics 2012 this week, looking as elegant as ever. The Duchess of Cambridge attended the Equestrian competition to cheer on fellow royal, Zara Phillips, who won Silver in the Olympic event yesterday.

As we all know, the masses are always looking to recreate the next K-Middy look, and with yesterday's outfit, the Duchess hasn't let us down. Kate shows us how to create an Olympic ready, laid back yet stylish outfit with ease.
The Duchess of Cambridge was sporting an all navy ensemble, carrying off the nautical trend with a Breton striped top and co-ordinating navy wedge heel. Her effortless look was completed by a basic navy clutch, simple, light makeup and navy umbrella to face that oh so unreliable British weather. As we are all so aware, not all of us are able to splash out on a pair of J Brand jeans or cork Russell and Bromley wedges, so we've gone out and found the complete look for less. We've shopped the online high street to find the best deals to supply you with that head to toe Kate inspired outfit.
Take a look at our high street finds above that will help you re-create Kate Middleton's royal Olympic look.
Yesterday, Kate Middleton was out in the beautiful London sunshine with her royal hubbie to get involved, feet first, in the Olympic activities over at the launch of a new training scheme in South East London.

The Duchess of Cambridge, an an ambassador for Team GB and the Paralympics GB 2012, got fully involved in the sporting goings on, playing her hand at both football and table tennis. For the occasion, Kate chose a summery yet formal dress from British heritage brand Hobbs, which is actually on sale from £119 to £35. As with all Kate's fashion purchases, the dress is selling out fast, but that doesn't mean you can't steal some of The Duchess' style.
We've searched high and low to find some fashionable alternatives to Kate's look which will help you nail some of her well put together, refined and fashionably wise style. From a cheap and cheerful Forever 21 number to a long lasting designer investment by Vivienne Westwood Anglomania, check out our dress finds below.

If you're lucky enough to count The Duchess of Cambridge as a close friend (and you're going to invite her to your wedding), then you'd better be prepared for Kate Middleton watch! Poor Catherine looked eager to get inside the church and away from the cameras, or perhaps just the rain, as she and her husband Prince William attended a wedding in Somerset over the weekend.
With her sultry sister, Pippa Middleton, and a number of ex boyfriends and girlfriends in the wedding party, we could have forgiven K-Mid if she'd decided to ramp it up a notch, but the ever-graceful Duchess looked pretty and demure as always as she walked in the rain with her umbrella holding Prince. Awww.
Kate opted for a gorgeous blossom printed silk chiffon dress by ethical clothing brand Beulah London, which she teamed with her trusty nude LK Bennett 'Sledge' heels and her go-to natural Natalie box clutch, also from LK Bennett. Kate finished off her wedding guest look with her sapphire and diamond engagement ring and a white Jane Corbett hat, which Kate wore at the Order of the Garter Service last month. We think Kate makes the perfect wedding guest, don't you? Here are just a few reasons why...
- You can guarantee that when all eyes weren't on the bride, they were on K-Mid. However, Kate chose an outfit that could quite easily have been worn by another guest, that wasn't too high end, and didn't scream "look at me", ensuring she didn't steal the limelight from the newly-weds.
- Both William and Kate had exes at the wedding and neither made a scene. Not that we would expect them to, but we all know what can happen after a few too many glasses of champagne...
- We've seen her wear her favourite LK Bennett nude heels a thousand times, so we know that she can walk in them for hours. No blisters for this Princess! Kate and Wills could have danced up a storm all night and not once have to stop for a foot rub.

Blossom dress by Beulah London £475
Sledge heels from LK Bennett £190
Natalie clutch from LK Bennett £160
Earlier this month we told you that sales of eyebrow grooming kits had apparently risen by a staggering 60 percent in the UK. Why? Ask the Duchess of Cambridge! The lovely Kate Middleton is well known inflicting 'the Kate Effect' across the world, and it doesn't stop at her attire; it seems the public are desperate for the secrets behind her perfectly sculpted brows.
The Internet has been abuzz this morning with reports that Kate was given a step-by-step tutorial on how to define her eyebrows at the Bobbi Brown counter at the Peter Jones store in London's Sloane Square. As a frequent visitor, Catherine obviously trusts the make-up artists there, and chose to participate in a free session where staff taught her to apply a dark shade of their £15.50 shadow (Kate apparently left with 'Saddle') with a slanted brush to fill in her brows.
On the Bobbi Brown website, a 'Bobbi Tip' suggests defining brows by lightly applying the shadow with the brands own award winning £21 angled brow brush. The application tip reads as follows: Use brush to pick up a small amount of eye shadow toned to your natural hair colour; tap off excess. Begin at inner corner of brow and follow its shape, working outwards using light, feathery strokes. Brush through brows with an upward, outward motion to blend and soften.
According to the Daily Mail, the fashionable Duchess also picked up a few extra pieces on her visit (don't we all Kate, don't we all) which are thought to include a £15 long wearing lip liner in 'Brownie Pink', and an £18 semi-matte lipstick called 'Sandwash Tulle', which is a soft neutral pink number.
I've got to hand it to K-Mid, influencing women to groom their eyebrows properly is probably the best thing she's been responsible for yet! A well-groomed brow is important, not just because it stops you from looking like an over plucked chicken, but because it forms the basis of your whole beauty look, framing your face and emphasising your eyes. If you want to emulate Kate's arches we suggest a quick trip to your nearest Bobbi Brown!
