Shop her style: Jessie J does oversized bleached wash denim from ASOS

Every since she went for the chop / got her head shaved for charity then had it dyed Samantha from Sex and the City ash blonde, Jessie J has been styling it out fashion wise.

Jessie-J-ASOS-Denim-Jacket.jpg

The outspoken popstrel was known for her outlandish style in times gone by, but 2013 has seen her take more of a refined pared back style; not any more. It seems her newly extreme hairstyle is translating to her wardrobe reuniting Jessie to her former outlandish fashion sense. This week saw Jessie step out wearing an oversized nineties inspired denim jacket from ASOS Collection.

Made from 100% pure cotton, the jacket features mid-blue wash with heavy ripping, loose boyfriend style oversized fut and a black contrast coating to sleeves. It might not be to everyone's taste, but this beauty has certainly caught our fashion eye. Jessie styled it up with easy to wear casual separates.

Check it out over at ASOS below - it's only £45!

Get the look: Jessie J's summertime style

Alongside the return of the BBC's TV talent show offering, The Voice, to our television screens this weekend, we've seen a certain Miss Jessie J return to our fashion pages. Since her courageous and very personal contribution to Comic Relief last month, we've been dying to see how the stylish songstress rocks her newly shaven head. And rock it she does! Dyed bleach blonde, Jessie has teamed her not-so ladylike locks with oversized accessories, creating an altogether tough, edgy, yet feminine look.

Jessie J Morocco.jpg

This week, Jessie has been in Morocco celebrating her birthday with a group of girlfriends. She Instagramed this holiday snap in a simple white cut-out dress. Teamed with oversized sunnies, large hoop earrings and a dash of bright lippie, we are loving this look. Now, as most of us aren't about to hit the beaches in sunny Africa, I've gathered a range of slightly more weather-proof white frocks to help you get Jessie's simple, chic beach look. With two options coming in at under £30, today's get the look presents you with an opportunity to not only copy Jessie's sought-after style, but also to bag yourself a real bargain. For something slightly more decadent, I am loving Three Floor's Adolescent Sister dress, complete with iridescent mesh panelling and cut-out detail.

Shop her look: Jessie J does casual Autumn in style

Jessie J has been busy of late, travelling here there and everywhere as part of her bid for world domination. Yesterday, she tweeted a snap of herself in what looked to be a shoe shop, in front of a wall full of trainers. We know the fun and energetic popstrel is a big trainer advocate, but could this not so subtle tweet mean the star is due to launch her very own range?

Jessie J October 2012.jpg

Dorothy Perkins Noir disco pants £26.99, Topshop Knitted Side Split Jumper £45, Planet Red Double Breasted Coat £215.20, Estelle Deve Kheper Chain £206, Gold Name Plate Necklace £40.

Regardless of speculation about a new footwear range for the star, there's no denying Jessie knows how to work Autumn / Winter 2012 in style. Jessie's outfit comprises of shiny disco pants, chunky black knit, oversized red coat and, not forgetting, the obligatory bling in the form of gold chain and personalised name necklace. What do you make of Jessie J's look?

Jessie J looks all grown up on the cover of ELLE

jessiejellecover2012november.jpg

"Is that you Jessie J?", is a question we've asked ourselves quite a lot these last few months. First the Price Tag singer wowed us all with a super sophisticated look for the GQ Awards and now she's taken it one step further with an incredibly fashion forward, grown up cover shoot for ELLE magazine.

In the November issue of ELLE UK, Jessie spills the beans on her image overhaul, revealing that she's sacked her stylist, wants to embrace her feminine side and would love to work with fashion designer Stella McCartney. The 24-year-old singer has slowly but surely toned down her look, admitting earlier in the year that she was still growing into fashion and that sometimes she looked at photographs of herself and thought it was all "too much".

Photographed by famous celebrity photographer Rankin, Jessie looks fantastic posing in a black and gold brocade body suit by Dolce & Gabbana that shows off her porcelain skin, long legs and enviable figure. Labelled "The Fashion Reinvention", this is one editorial we can't wait to get our hands on - according to ELLE, Jessie graces their pages in a number of gorgeous designer pieces from Jean Paul Gautier, Elie Saab and Giles; we're thinking lots of show stopping gowns and LOTS of brocade!

The November issue of Elle doesn't hits news stands until this Wednesday, so in the mean time, why not shop our best brocade inspired picks from the high street? It's a great way to inject a little embellishment into your outfit without looking OTT, and a sure fire trend for AW12!

Steal her style: Jessie J does the Wildfox star jumper

Everyone has been commenting upon Jessie J's fashion transformation of late (check out one of her latest new looks over at our sister site Shoewawa here), and we have to admit, it is fair to say the popstrel has calmed down her once erratic dress sense (aka this). Gone is the heavy block fringe, multi coloured locks or clashing prints and we're saying hello to paired down simple outfit choices. Hmmm.

Although you might not call these self-tweeted snaps showing Jessie posing on a private jet in nothing much more than a monochrome knit jumper and co-ordinated Jeffrey Campbell Lita's low key, by Jessie J standards, it definitely is. What do you make of her jet set lifestyle look?

Jessie isn't the only one latching on to Wildfox Couture's Seeing Stars Lennon sweater, there's a whole bevvy of celebrity fans out there including Khloe Kardashian, Ashlee Simpson, Emma Roberts and Emma Watson, who have all been spotted wearing the black version just like Jessie. For this very reason, we've hunted down the exact jumper, just in case you want to steal some celebrity style?

Steal her style: Jessie J does paisley

Jessie J has been out and about again, and straying from her usual all-in-one one piece, she's opted for this paisley print matching two top and trouser matching set from our high street fave - Topshop. We did hear that paisley was going to be massive this season, and it's good to see someone working it on the red carpet to show us how it's done.

The outspoken popstrel is known for championing new trends right from the beginning, and this delicious matching set comes from Topshop's Boutique collection at a pretty reasonable £130 for the set - not bad eh? We've been lusting after it all day in the office. She's matched the head to toe print with Dolce Vita's highly stacked platform boots which are currently on sale and selling out fast by all counts. Complete the look a la Jessie J with a flick of black liner, a pop of rouge lips, gold flashy earrings and slick back face-lift effect up do.

Jessie J's wardrobe: Isle of Wight Festival & Hackney Weekend

Jessie J is another quirky lady who's had a busy weekend - the 'Do it like a Dude' singer performed at the Isle of Wight Festival on Saturday and Hackney Weekend on Sunday, sporting two very different outfits in the process.

Now we've come to expect the unexpected from Jessie. The 24-year-old treads a fine line between bending the rules and smashing them to pieces, and for that she's gained a lot of respect from fashion critics. As well as being incredibly confident when it comes to her clothing choices, she also has a fearless attitude to fashion, making it difficult to judge when she looks a. absolutely amazing or b. completely ridiculous. It helps that Jessie is beautiful - with her perfect skin, intense eyes and signature sleek hair, she could look good in a bin bag (and we wouldn't put it past her). Lets take a look at her festival wardrobe shall we?

jessiejisleofwightfestival2012.jpg

We all know that The Voice judge likes to have fun with her outfits and take a trend to the extreme, but these jeans are a little TOO 90's for my taste; I'm all for embracing an era, but they just do nothing for her! Jessie rocked this outfit at the Isle of Wight Festival, and whilst I can appreciate what she's going for, the rips are just a bit much. If they were smaller, or if she hadn't teamed them with a pair of buckled patent rain boots, then I might have been able to get on board with the look. Weird jeans aside, I like the cropped black jumper and even the tacky Chanel medallion, but it's her hair and makeup that seals the deal. Dip dyed hair may be fading fast, but Jessie has an ability to make it look tempting all over again and I love that she colour coordinated her talons with a gradient pink to black manicure. Perfect skin and a slick of black eyeliner completed Jessie's on stage outfit.

jessiejhackneyweekend2012.jpg

For her performance at Hackney weekend the following day, Jessie ramped it up a notch and concentrated on the here and now. Back in May, Jessie told Company magazine that she wanted to "tone it down" as she feared she "became a bit of a cartoon", and this outfit is probably as stripped back as it gets for the singer. Now, we can't all have it both ways, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jessie's fans found this ensemble a little too 'normal'. The skin-tight striped jeans, the studded Jeffrey Campbell Lita platforms, the stud detailed washed denim jacket...it's a very 'typical' look for 2012. Thankfully, Jessie added a pop of colour with yet another cropped top (although I don't blame her with that toned stomach) and changed it up by removing the hot pink hair extensions.

Do you like it when Jessie reins it in a little or do you prefer when she goes all out? Cast your vote in our poll!

Jessie J glams up for Cannes

jessieJcannes.jpg

It's not often we see Jessie J all dolled up, but when she does: WOW!

She looked absolutely stunning in this slink leopard print number by Louis Heal at the amfAR gala at Cannes Film Festival. Her bold choice was slit all the way up to her thigh, showing her very shapely pins and it was also slashed across the bodice to reveal more than a little cleavage.

Impressively, the dress still looks elegant. In part down to Jessie looking so relaxed with simple hair and make-up - you can't go wrong with retro waves an a red lip!

Jessie was performing at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS event and her gorgeous outfit made sure all attention was on her. It's nice to see Jessie J looking all glam and her leopard print has been a very welcome change from all the sequins we've been seeing at Cannes.

Jessie J opens up about her style and not being able to eat cake on her birthday

JessieJ2012.jpg

With BBC's The Voice on our screens every weekend, Jessie J's style has been the talk of the town lately. We absolutely love her new ombre hair do and she's been rocking Spring / Summer 2012's prints like no one else. Although she's known for her unique style, recently Jessie has been confessing that it's time to grow up, "I'm just growing up! I won't lie, when you're first bringing out music and you want people to notice, you probably overdo it, especially as a girl. But I started looking at photos and thinking, "Jess, it's too much - the outfits, the hair". I became a bit of a cartoon. I just wanted to tone it down" she added, "The Mystic Meg hair was my comfort blanket. But as you start seeing pictures of yourself at every angle you realise it's about taking risks if you want your style to evolve."

When it comes to her role on The Voice, Jessie seems to be quite passionate and determined to teach her acts that being in the music industry is far from easy, "I want to teach my acts that it's about sacrifice - it isn't easy. It's about staying in to avoid losing your voice shouting over music in clubs. It's about understanding you'll miss family events and won't be able to eat the cake you want on your birthday. You'll doubt yourself, lose your voice and people will tweet horrible things. But I'll be there for them."
That's a shame. We think the best bit about your birthday is eating cake. The above snap is taken from her shoot in Company magazine. Like her all pastel look? Shop it with our buys below.

Yay or nay? Jessie J's body-stocking catsuit-type thing

130192312.jpg

Apologies for the long-winded description, it's just we're not really sure what to call Jessie J's rather strange Q Awards outfit.

Is it a holey catsuit? Or a body stocking? She is the face of Henry Holland's tights after all. Maybe she was giving her Halloween costume a test-run...

More importantly, do you love it or loathe it? Vote below...
