The singer, who has been criticized a lot lately for her weight gain, said that she looks her best when she's in love!

The 29-year old said, "Eat whatever makes you feel good. Work out whenever you want to. Just take care of yourself."
"I think when we're in love, when we have love in our life, that's when we look beautiful."
Jess was also asked if she was seeing anyone, to which she replied, "I have some situations that I am feeling out."

Jessica Simpson has a stint as US Marie Claire's guest beauty editor and as such, graces its cover - make up-less!
The magazine seems to be fighting with its French counterpart for Most Daring Issue featuring Jessica without make up and sporting 'air-dried hair'.
The singer and actress gives her tips on hair and make up, saying, "People think updos are so hard, but they're not. Your hair should look tousled and undone."
Jess also gave an interview where she announced that she no longer cares about peoples perception of her, saying, "I don't have anything to prove anymore. What other people think of me is not my business."

It looks like Jessica Simpson hasn't been put off men by the collective efforts of Nick Lachey, John Mayer and Tony Romo - she says she's still looking for love.
The singer said, "I hope I don't die alone, that's for damn sure. Hopefully I can find a man that understands my life and understands my purpose. I just need to find the right man."
The singer lamented the effect her fame has on dating, saying, "It does affect certain decisions."
"Like, I'd love to go out to dinner with certain people I've met, but I can't because everyone would be like, 'Wow! They're gonna get married!'"

Jessica Simpson has told press that a recent trip to Africa cured her of her body insecurities, after people she met there told her she was too skinny to be considered attractive.
The singer was in Uganda working on a documentary for VH1 about beauty in different cultures called The Price Of Beauty.
Jessica has been heavily criticised by the media for her weight gain, and was shocked when she was told that she was too underweight by the people she met in Africa.
Jess (who went on the trip with friend CaCee Cobb) said, "The men told CaCee and I that we would have to [gain weight] for them to consider marrying us!"

Catherine Zeta Jones is in big trouble with PETA.
The organisation has called her out on her love of fur by crowning the 41-year old Welsh actress the 'Biggest Fashion Offender' on its annual 'Worst Dressed' list. The organisation said "With her creepy cow-skin pants, ugly fox coat, and icky alligator bag, Catherine Zeta-Jones looks like she's working her way through Noah's ark with a knife,"
Also featuring on the list is Jennifer Lopez, Kate Hudson and Jessica Simpson, of whose outfits PETA said "all resemble her career - dead." Ouch.

Jessica Simpson arrived at the Extraordinary Measures premiere in an all-black beatnik ensemble. Wearing a black blazer, leggings and ankle boots, she covered up every inch of flesh with a figure-hugging black poloneck. Her Bridget Bardot-style beehive hairdo and smoky eyes made a welcome change from her usual all-American look.
Jessica has recently been spending time with Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan but has now put love on the back burner. A source said, "dating Jessica publicly can be intense. Billy maintains a quiet, private music-focused life and the taste of publicity he got while being with Jessica was an eye opener. Billy likes Jessica, but he will work to keep their relationship as it is and focus on the music.'

Jessica Simpson headed over to see sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz star in Chicago on Broadway for what must have been the fifteenth time this week, and couldn't even bring herself to put a bit of slap on for the occasion.
That said, we're rather liking this new demure Jessica. Her Chanel-esque jacket and messy up do look rather chic, and unlike plenty of celebs, her irritatingly perfect skin means that she looks better without makeup on than when she's done up to the nines.

Yay, Jessica Simpson's found a new fella! She's rumoured to be dating Smashing Pumpkins singer Billy Corgan. He may be a million miles away from her former beaus, but sister Ashlee is married to Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, so maybe she's taking a tip from her.
A source told E! News that Jessica was rather enamoured with her new chap: 'She has fallen hard and his smitten!' and the pair have been photographed together in New York, so it looks like it's on!
Jessica's had a rubbish 2009, what with all the dog-napping and getting dumped, so lets hope this is the start of a better 2010...

Ashlee and Jessica Simpson were both present and correct at the debut of Ashlee's broadway performance in Chicago as Roxie Hart.
You have to admit, it seems impossible that two sisters could look quite so different - Jessica's curvy blonde perma tanned looks are in direct contrast to super-slim Ashlee's pale skin and dark hair.
