She's been dogged by rumours that she was pregnant for weeks, and has denied every one of them - but Jessica Simpson has now admitted to OK! magazine that she is in fact pregnant with her fiancé Eric Johnson's child!
According to an American tabloid, the singer - who is 'so excited' - was holding out on announcing it until she could find a magazine that would pay her $500,000 for the story.
She joked to OK, "Well, now I can eat anything I want and no one will care. It's just sort of a rule with pregnant women."
At the bottom of Jessica's front page, by the way, there is a story titled 'Who else is pregnant, and who is just fat', which is nice.

Rumours are swirling that Jessica Simpson is pregnant!
The singer is suspected to be expecting a baby with her fiance Eric Johnson - the proof? Well at Eric's birthday party she sent back her glass of champagne for the birthday toast.
So of course she is pregnant.
Apparently she's started having cravings too, and according to her friend they're pretty "kooky" which are nacho chips dipped in chocolate "which satisfy her urge for salty and sweet", cheese-flavored popcorn and non-alcoholic margaritas.
Kooky? They are not kooky - Beyonce's were kooky!

And so the saga drags on - now it's apparently Jessica Simpson who is being approached to be part of the judging panel for the US X-Factor.
The singer (who let's face it, definitely has the time to do it right now) revealed that she has been hit up to be part of the show - and she's well up for it!
Jessica told WWD, "They have definitely talked to me about 'X Factor'."
She continued, "I think it would be a lot of fun. It's definitely my life. To be a mentor for up-and-coming artists is right up my alley. I would have loved to have a mentor. I love watching people's dreams come true."

Jessica Simpson has been speaking about her recent engagement saying that she was completely surprised and didn't at all see it coming and it was just a TOTAL coincidence that it happened five minutes after her ex-husband Nick Lachey got engaged.
"I had to sit on his knee [because] I was shocked," she said.
Jessica continued: "I first said 'Yes'... I didn't even try the ring on until five minutes in. I just sat there and cried with him."
She went on to sing fiancé Eric Johnson's praises, saying, "He is just really thoughtful. Keeps me very centred. He makes me feel like my feet are on the ground."

Jessica Simpson is reportedly planning to get married around Christmas so she beats her ex-husband Nick Lachey to the alter.
A source said,"She wants to beat Nick to the altar. She knows that it is going to be tough to pull everything together on such short notice, so it might have to be a New Years wedding".
"In any case, she wants the focus to be on her wedding. She doesn't want her wedding to be the aftermath of his."
Jess is also apparently planning to go all out so she isn't 'outdone' by Nick and Vanessa Milliano - please tell us this means life size ice statues of them.
An insider said, "It will be big and elaborate. She'll spare no expensive for fear that Nick and Vanessa will outdo her. She's already starting planning everything and has every family member working on her big day."

Jessica Simpson has revealed that she is engaged to Eric Johnson, just 10 days after her ex-husband Nick Lachey announced his engagement to girlfriend of four years Vanessa Milliano.
Jessica has been dating football player Eric since just May, and he only finalised his last marriage in September.
Anyone else think this is a strange coincidence?

Jessica Simpson has opening up about her relationship with food to USA Today, revealing that she eats when she's sad (welcome to the club).
Jessica said, "I'm from Texas, I like everything fried, which is the really unfortunate thing. My relationship with food? I want it when I'm sad. When I'm happy, I don't think much about it."
She added, " But I do like to go out on a date for a good dining experience. It's important not to say, 'I can't have this' because then I obsess about it."
Jessica also talked about the media's obsession with her size. She said, "I feel like people are constantly curious as to how much I weigh or what I look like or what I wear. There's no way you're not going to be affected by the ugly things people say about you. It's very hurtful. It definitely brings up a lot of your own insecurities."

Jessica Simpson has announced her new perfume, and it's fancy!
No really, it is. It's called Fancy Nights... classy.
But what does it smell like? Apparently the spicy scent includes warm notes of bergamot and Egyptian papyrus blended with Indonesian patchouli, Bulgarian red rose and night-blooming jasmine.
Jessica says about the fragrance, "It is a deeper, richer scent - more provocative."
She goes on, "A fragrance can lead you deeper into a mood. Fancy Nights gives me the chance to express a more romantic side of my personality."

Jessica Simpson has admitted in a recent interview that she feels old, partly because she has 'experienced so much' as a young woman.
The 29-year old told OK magazine, "I'm pushing 30, it's happening and I feel it. I think 30 is going to be a good year for me".
The singer continued, "I think I experienced a lot in my 20s - a lot more than a lot of people in their 20s would experience."
Jessica added, "I feel old in a lot of ways, but I feel naive in ways that I can't wait to see what happens next."
