With a new year comes a fresh batch of celebrities appearing on those monthly glossies. For February, OSO favourite, Emma Watson is gracing the front cover of Marie Claire mag. The 22 year old all British beaut is currently fitting in studying for a degree at Brown University stateside alongside a busy filming schedule and being the face of both Burberry and Lancome - and we thought we were busy. So what do you make of her new year new look?

Why not check out some of our hand picked items above to shop Emma's style? In the interview, Emma reveals, 'Now I feel a lot more settled in who I am and what I think and how I want to do things. And because I feel good about what I'm doing, I don't need anyone else to say whether they think it's good or not'.She added, 'Friends and family come first and work comes second; that's just how I live my life. I'm a bit OCD about perfectionism. I'm my own worst critic. I think that's really hard but it also spurs me on.'
The February issue of Marie Claire hit newsstands Thursday 3 January.
Another day, another picture of Emma Watson sent to confuse us all.
The lovely Emma (who is currently on the promotional trail of her latest flick, The Perks of Being a Wallflower) attended a screening of the movie last night in London wearing an outfit that has us sitting on the fence. We've happily embraced the 90's trend, but there are some things that are best left in the past - take scrunchies and neon lycra cycling shorts for example. Where do we stand on dresses worn over trousers?!

This head-to-toe Dior Couture outfit is beautiful, but I'm not convinced it looks as good as it should on Emma. The gown fits the actress well across the bust and the peplum effect looks great, but the cigarette trousers are too long for her and the cutesy hair and makeup just doesn't suit the sexy vibe of the outfit; it looked much better styled with slick hair and red lips on the catwalk. If the hemline of the dress had been taken up and if the trousers had been a capri-cut, then it could have looked fantastic *sigh*
We've got to give the girl kudos for trying to embrace a more grown up look, but for me, it would have looked much better on someone else, like Julianne Moore or Natalie Portman, who have also worn Dior Couture AW12 pieces this week. I would have much preferred to see Emma in something a little more daring and youthful, wouldn't you?

We love Emma Watson. Over the last decade we've enjoyed watching her blossom into a beautiful young woman who graciously ignored scrutiny over her early red carpet choices and that dramatic hair chop at the end of the Harry Potter franchise.
The 22-year-old has worked hard to leave goody two shoes Hermoine Granger in the past and move onto newer, edgier pastures, like her latest role in the highly anticipated Indie flick, 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' - which might explain why she looks so moody and awkward on the cover of NYLON Magazine's October "It issue". Standing in-between her Wallflower co-stars, Ezra Miller and Logan Lerman, Emma looks, well...a bit tired if we're honest. The actress has tried her best to have an attitude with the popped collar and intense stare, but it's lost in her half open eyes - she's got that angry expression Kristen Stewart wears when she's trying to be serious.
Whilst NYLON may not have captured Emma's best side for the cover, she apparently exuded a confident, devil may care attitude on the set of the shoot in New York, which we're hoping shines through in the rest of the editorial. According to NYLON'S Stylist and Marketing Editor Michelle Reneau, the actress "didn't want to wear earrings - so at one point she took an actual safety pin, cut off the sharp end, and put it through her ear". Rock and roll Emma, rock and roll.
Aside from her expression, what do you think of Emma's NYLON cover? We love the slightly grungy, 90's vibe, not to mention the kohl rimmed eyes, frosted lips and patent skinny belt over that luxurious patterned coat. We've got our fingers crossed for better images inside!

So you would think the Watson family would be giving Made In Chelsea a wide berth after Francis Boulle (CEO) was quoted saying that he'd had a reletionship with - and then dumped - Emma Watson, but rumour has it her brother Alex will be joining the show next season!
The news comes from MIC star Amber Atherton, who said, "The producers think it would be amazing to get Alex on the show."
She added, "He's good-looking so he'd make great competition for Spencer."
The next series just got even more exciting.

Harry Potter might be over now but so we don't forget Warner Brothers have just released a longer version of their last ever day on set, featuring many a scene of Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint crying and hugging and generally being sad, plus shots of them from the first few films. Daniel Radcliffe was SO cute.
It brings a tear to the eye, it really does. Watch it above.

Emma Watson is studying abroad for a year: as the university she attends is Brown in the US, this means that for her year abroad she can come home to the UK, and she's enrolled at Oxford university (which is so totally Emma Watson we don't know why she didn't just go there in the first place).
The actress put a post on her blog wishing her fans a good term and posted a picture of herself on the way to class, looking cute as a button in a furry-hooded parka to keep out that chilly Oxford air. Like Emma's look too? Get it with our picks above.
