The iconic Cher has been speaking about Christina Aguilera's performance in the upcoming Burlesque, saying that she has 'chops'
We assume that's good.
Cher said, "The scenes that she and I had together, I really enjoyed, and I really believe that she's got definite chops."
She explained, "We worked well together. I enjoyed all of it, and she was toe-to-toe with me the whole time. But everybody's good. Stanley Tucci's in it and Peter Gallagher, Kristen Bell and Julianne Hough, so everyone's really good in it."

Nicole Richie has praised her friend Christina Aguilera's parenting skills, saying that she is impressed by the singer's dedication to her son Max.
Nicole said, "It's very clear through Christina's music what a strong woman she is."
She added, "But to watch her as a mother only skyrockets the respect I have for her. She is the woman who's recording until 4am and up at 7am to be with her son. Her dedication to Max is incredible."

A rep for the singer said, "[It is] a good, longtime friendship and nothing more than that."
Rumours started up after the two women were spotted spending time together after Christina filed for divorce, and also on Nicole Richie's batcholerette party in Cabo.

Now Christina Aguilera has officially filed for divorce from husband Jordan Bratman, more details are coming out about their split, including a rumour that Christina cheated on him!
The terms on the divorce papers state "irreconcilible differences" but gossip website TMZ reports that her tryst was the reason the marriage broken down.
They wrote, "sources connected with the couple tell TMZ the marriage fell apart after Aguilera allegedly cheated on Bratman."
In more divorce news, they had a pre-nup so Jordan won't be talking her for everything she's got.

They have apparently been seperated for a few months now.
Christina released a statement, which said, "Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever."

In it music icon Cher talks about her co-star Christina Aguilera and how she encouraged her to bring her best game on set!
Cher said, "Of course, me being me, I had to give her one tiny bit of advice. It was in the scene in which Tess says, "OK I'm going to build the show around you." There was a close-up on Christina, and though she had a beautiful look on her face, I knew she had more to give. I went up to her and said, "Christina, this is the moment you've been waiting for all your life. Not your character's life, but yours. It's now or never." Moments later I watched her pull years of tears out of those baby blue eyes. Yeah! I know this beautiful child can go as far, and as deep, as she wants to go. I'm proud of her and I am proud to be in this film with her."
