Cannes Film Festival is one of the most fruitful times of year for red carpet fashion and designer celebrity wears. Our favourite famous faces are guaranteed to pull out all the stops for the super swanky do which takes place each year to celebrate all things on the silver screen at the French film event. Along with Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lawrence and Carey Mulligan, Cheryl Cole stepped out at the event this weekend in her finest.
Wearing a dress by occasion wear designer, Zuhair Murad, our favourite Northern gal wowed all on the red carpet showcasing her petite frame in ornate embellishments, sexy sheers and a fitted fishtail shape. Chezza completed her super glam look with flawless sultry make up and voluminous up do. Along with fellow L'Oreal spokeswoman and good pal Eva Longoria, according to her Twitter account, Cheryl spent the whole day talking business, before taking to the red carpet.
What do you make of Cheryl's look? Are you pleased to see her in the spotlight again?

Cheryl Cole
This particular Saturday night show isn't normally at the top of our discussion list on the fashion front, but this weekend it had the Cheryl factor. Yes, Strictly Come Dancing contestant, Kimberley Walsh, was supported by fellow Girls Aloud band mate Cheryl Cole on Saturday night's show. For the occasion, Chezza sat front row to the dance floor to watch her pal in action, meaning we got a full view of her fashion selection.
The geordie popstrel opted for a trusty little black dress by Miu Miu which features bead and mirror embellished collar, A line shape and flap pocket detailing. Here she is below catching up with Kimberley after the show...
If you liked Cheryl's LBD and think it could become one of your favourite Saturday night wears too, check it out left below. Be warned, you'll need a £1,275 to hand.
If you're budget is a little more modest, check out the one on the right which is from Missguided.co.uk, and is a cheap and cheerful look a like at £34.99.

Cheryl Cole
This week saw Cheryl Cole sporting a rather unusual look that we haven't seen on her much, well, ever; dressed down. Yes, the Geordie popstrel was spotted over the weekend about and about in London with her good pal Will.i.am wearing her casual best in the form of baggy knit jumper, leather mini skirt and some questionable shoe boots.
The other items in Cheryl's look however, including jumper by The Row, Helmut Lang skirt and Proenza Schouler clutch, are definitely on our lust list. If, like us, you can't afford to drop what must be pushing £2k on a casual outfit, you're not alone. We've shopped the online high street and sought out some real bargains that come out at £200 max for the entire outfit. Want to steal Cheryl's style? Check them out above.

Cheryl Cole
Cheryl Cole has been putting it about lately. Not in that sense, but with the promotion of her newly released album and single Call My Name, which hit the number one spot on iTunes only hours after it was released at Midnight this weekend (check out her tweet below), she's been making sure everyone takes note whether it's for her fabulous fashion selections, slick dance moves or nasty jibes at Simon Cowell.
It'd appear the Geordie lass still has the Midas touch she's famed for when it comes to pulling off killer looks on the red carpet. After all those rumours about her and Prince Harry exchanging phone numbers (did you see her ask him to call her on the Graham Norton show this week?!), no wonder Cheryl is pulling out all the stops. For Capital FM's Summertime Ball after show party this weekend, Cheryl opted for a Hakaan Arussi satin-trimmed crepe dress paired with towering Charlotte Olympia heels. We love this number with stylish flapper girl style pleats and satin detail, don't you? We've hunted down all the components of Cheryl's look above so you can steal her style with the links below. What do you think Harry would make of it?
Cheryl Cole knows how to make an entrance, doesn't she? Arriving at Cannes Film Festival as L'Oreal's ambassador, there's no denying that her gown, made by Stephane Rowland Haute Couture was a show stopper. The fishtail cut was huge, and Cheryl topped it off with gorgeous hair and accessories.
It's the skirt that we're not sure of. The red feathers blend so perfectly into the red carpet, and they're just so... separate from the rest of the dress. The sleek silhouette of the gown's top half is ruined by the red feathers.
Or, you could argue that without the red feather train, this dress would be rather dull - a little more soap awards than Cannes.
So which is it for Cheryl's look?

Cheryl Cole
We don't often get treated to a picture of Cheryl Cole out and about, as lately she's been keeping her head down. So we were super pleased to see this treat of an outfit land in our inbox. How good does she look?! Cheryl was snapped in London here on her way to Radio 1 recently where she was appearing on Chris Moyle's morning show.
We showed you a video before of Cheryl Cole designing her show line for Stylist Pick, and the brand have just released the second in the series, showing Cheryl finally 'meeting' her shoes.
We don't get a full look at them, but you do catch a glimpse of a leopard print cuffed shoe and the brown buckle of a boot.
See Cheryl talking about her line in the video above!
