Cheryl Cole knows how to make an entrance, doesn't she? Arriving at Cannes Film Festival as L'Oreal's ambassador, there's no denying that her gown, made by Stephane Rowland Haute Couture was a show stopper. The fishtail cut was huge, and Cheryl topped it off with gorgeous hair and accessories.
It's the skirt that we're not sure of. The red feathers blend so perfectly into the red carpet, and they're just so... separate from the rest of the dress. The sleek silhouette of the gown's top half is ruined by the red feathers.
Or, you could argue that without the red feather train, this dress would be rather dull - a little more soap awards than Cannes.
So which is it for Cheryl's look?

We don't often get treated to a picture of Cheryl Cole out and about, as lately she's been keeping her head down. So we were super pleased to see this treat of an outfit land in our inbox. How good does she look?! Cheryl was snapped in London here on her way to Radio 1 recently where she was appearing on Chris Moyle's morning show.
We showed you a video before of Cheryl Cole designing her show line for Stylist Pick, and the brand have just released the second in the series, showing Cheryl finally 'meeting' her shoes.
We don't get a full look at them, but you do catch a glimpse of a leopard print cuffed shoe and the brown buckle of a boot.

Well after months, nay, years of pretending that Girls Aloud were the very best of friends, Nadine Coyle has finally admitted that they are not.
Like, actually. She told Heat, "They're not my friends."
Nadine explained, "I don't speak to them or socialise with them. I have my own friends that I've grown up with and the girls are very much my colleagues. I wouldn't socialise with them outside of work."

Right: we saw this story this morning and were confused - are Ashley and Cheryl Cole in some sort of weird, divorced person relationship, or aren't they? Cause we've heard nothing about it for ages, and then suddenly we're talking babies.
According to 'sources' the 'couple' (?) are off again after Ashley told Cheryl he doesn't want children. Apparently: "They had an emotional conversation last week when Ashley told her that even if they were to get back together properly, he's not sure that he wants kids."
The source explained, "She told him that was the cruellest punishment he could've thought of as that is all she's been holding out for. She thinks this is just a ploy to get what he wants - which is for them to go public."
"Ashley knows this is the worst thing he can say to her as he promised her a family and stability and now he's ripped it away from her. She told him what he's done is worse than when he cheated on her," they added.
It seems that this past week Cheryl Cole has been trying to show us all that she holds no hard feelings for that whole X-Factor mess.
Last week it was Simon Cowell's birthday, and the singer tweeted, "Simon Cowell is '52' today..." which she followed with, "Oops... I don't think he wanted that mentioned.. My bad!! ;-)" and then, "He is officially in the overs category .. Hehehehehe.."
The tabloids would have you believe these are all sly digs at him disguised as teasing banter, but we prefer to believe they've kissed and made up.
