Gossip has been rife surrounding Gossip Girl star Blake Lively's secret under wraps wedding to hottie Ryan Reynolds. The stylish star, who married her now hubbie in secret recently, stepped out for the first time since walking down the aisle for the Chanel Fine jewellery 80th anniversary of the 'Bijoux De Diamants' collection.
The party, held in New York City, brought a bevy of A-list celebrities dressed in their finest for the prestigious event, and amongst the celebrity scattered crowd including Alexa Chung, January Jones and Diane Kruger, Blake stood out in this silver satin number by none other than the event's host themselves, Chanel.
What do you make of Blake's vintage feel all silver look? If you fancy getting involved with the trend, check out some of our buys below.
Last month, we took a good look at Gossip Girl favourite, Blake Lively, and her style evolution, seeing how she's gone from young American teen to fashion icon and face of Gucci. Anyone that can make such a transformation in a few years is someone who's style we're keen to steal, so when we spotted Blake out in this floral number, which is actually from Monique Lhuillier Resort 2013 collection, we knew there'd be a high street alternative out there to help us get her look.
Low and behold, independent fashion brand, Closet, have a look-a-like in stock that recreates Blake's bright and summery look to perfection. The bold floral-come-tropical themed print picks out the colours in Blake's designer version as well as mirroring the simplistic skater girl shape. Want to finish the look off in true Gossip Girl style? Go on, treat yourself to the exact pair of shoes Blake is wearing; yep you guessed it, they're by Christian Louboutin and are called "Crazy Fur Suede Pump". Finish the look off with a stack of purple bangles which are by Matthew Williamson for Debenhams.
Having started filming the final series of Gossip Girl this month, we reckon Blake will continue to be in the fashion spotlight for months to come, but as the sun is due to arrive any day (so they say), why not invest in the summary look-a-like now?

She's the new face of Gucci, she's modelled for Chanel, she counts Christian Louboutin as a good friend, she's dated Leonardo DiCaprio and she's rumoured to be house hunting with Ryan Reynolds; there are a lot of reasons to be jealous of Blake Lively, but equally, a lot of reasons to love her (honest!). The stunning actress has been in the movie business since her early teens, but it was her role 'It girl' Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl that really caught our attention, and she's held a firm place on our lust list since then.
If you're as big a fan of Blake as we are, you'll know that the gorgeous 24-year-old has made no secret of the fact that she a. loves fashion and b. doesn't use a stylist. Blake confessed to Marie Claire, "My assistant will call fashion houses for me, but I always pick the outfit, shoes, jewelry, and a lot of times I do my own hair and makeup for events. Sometimes I think, God, why do I do this to myself? It's so much extra work!" Although we're sure she's picked up more than her fair share of tips and tricks whilst on the Gossip Girl set, it's certainly refreshing to see someone do all the hard work themselves - especially when she does it so well!
As the fashion-centric show that made her name draws in on it's final season, we're expecting to see much more of Blake on the big screen - in fact, the actress is currently on the promotional trail for her latest movie Savages, in which she plays the shared hippie girlfriend of two pot growers (Taylor Kitch and Aaron Johnson) who is kidnapped by the Mexican drug cartel. So, something light hearted then, huh Blake? Whilst her new characters wardrobe doesn't come close to that of Serena, you can guarantee that Blake will leave us all in awe as she takes to the red carpet at each premiere; without enlisting professional help.
The lovely Blake certainly tried her best to impress in the early days of her career, and just like every other young woman who's trying to figure out what works for her, the actress occasionally missed the mark. For Chanel's 'Night of Diamonds' dinner back in 2008, Blake obviously wore a gorgeous Chanel number (kudos) but something wasn't just right - perhaps it was the awful shoes and washed out makeup that let her down? Blake stumbled again at the 2009 Golden Globes as she attempted to wear a lilac silk Nina Ricci dress that was too tight for her. Even if the dress had fit, the sequined bust, tacky bracelets and beach hair would still have put her on the worst dressed pile. We live and learn...
Blake's long legs are enough to drive any man and woman crazy! The actress soon figured out that short pieces worked in her favour, as she showcased her pins in a teal chevron patterned playsuit and cute monochrome dress. For some unfathomable reason, Blake has the ability to rock feathers like no one else. How? Oh, and the hair and makeup is much improved!
Like many of the 20-somethings stars today, Blake is a big fan of Marchesa. Now in my opinion, Marchesa is akin to Marmite (you either love it or loathe it) so I'm leaving it up to you to decide which camp you're in here. One thing's for sure, Blake likes to experiment and have fun with fashion, and we can't hold that against her!
As we head into 2011, Blake looks more and more Hollywood everyday. For these red carpet occasions, the actress opted for two very different one shoulder dresses - the first, a draped Chanel Couture number featuring a sheer front decorated with silver pailettes, and the second, a pale blue Marchesa with sweeping fabric and hem embellishment. With her strawberry locks and A-List glow, Blake looked the Belle of the ball for the Met Gala, switching back to blonde and looking fresh as a daisy for the LA BAFTA Party.
Oh Blake, honestly, you're so gorgeous you could pretty much wear anything and we wouldn't hold it against you. For the Chanel Cruise 2012 show Blake wore a sequined short suit and some serious bling, which she teamed with yet another pair of Louboutin's from her collection. Seen here with Clémence Poésy, the actress sparkled as she relaxed on the water. For the LA premiere of Savages yesterday, Blake wowed the crowds in a sculptured Zuhair Murad Couture gown, which emphasized her figure and most importantly, didn't look as though it was wearing her. Bravo Blake, bravo.
If Blake Lively wasn't already the luckiest woman on earth (who goes from Leo DiCaprio to Ryan Reynolds, seriously?!), she can also rock a sequin jumper with a sequin-print skirt, a patterned brown bag and black boots without looking like a crazy lady.
We want her life. But we'll settle for that Marc by Marc Jacobs jumper...
Blake Lively has handled this naked photo thing so much like water off a ducks back that we could suspect that it was all a massive publicity stunt.
But we're not that cynical.
Coincidentally the actress has just started her promotional duties for her first big movie, The Green Lantern, and appeared on the Today show wearing this gorgeous dress from Tibi. You can't see in this picture, but Blake paired blue flared skirt dress with leopard print platforms. Love her look too? Get it with our picks above!
Blake Lively has been handling the naked photo scandal very well, it's being forgotten pretty fast.
Well not by us, but everyone else seems to have.
Anyway the actress attended a benefit for the Ghetto Film School and looked lovely showing off her legs in a Marc Jacobs patterned shirt and black tiered skirt combo. Like her look? Get it with our picks above.
Oh, wait, they're not her though are they. I keep forgetting.
Anyway, for once the actress put her boobs away (which we may or may not have all seen) and was quite covered up for her in an electric blue Michael Kors dress which she paired with amazing purple suede court shoes and a stack of silver bracelets. Like Blake's look? Get it with our picks above.
