Whether she's dressed up or down, there's no denying Alexa Chung's impact on our style choices. Mulberry adore her even though she doesn't brush her hair and we're not about the argue with the bag oracles. It's those huge eyes and 'couldn't care less' attitude that we love. She turns up to red carpet events looking like she's spent the afternoon in the pub and we want her look.
Want her look? Well it's probably one of the easiest looks to recreate. It's cute and grungy all at once (very Kate Moss circa 1995). Avoid combing your hair all day, throw on twice as much black eyeliner as you usually would and pick out a couple of these pieces:
You need some biker boots to go with your pretty tea dress. These are by Guess and they're £79.
And you'll obviously need a tea dress - this butterfly tea dress from Oasis is ideal. It's £50 and a lot more interesting than florals.
It's still nippy outside, finish off your look with a leather jacket and you have the perfect Alexa look (this one is MANGO and it's £189.99). Mix and match with floral dresses and messiness of hair as you desire.
Alexa Chung is in Australia right now, very, very jetlagged, according to her twitter feed.
She's hiding it quite well here though, at the photocall for 30 Days of Fashion and Beauty, the event for which she is currently in the land down under promoting.

Sad news this morning, Alexa Chung and her boyfriend of four years Alex Turner have broken up!
Not long ago the presenter said in an interview that the Arctic Monkeys frontman was the "greatest love of her life", but apparently they have grown apart.
"Things haven't been going well and they haven't seemed like a couple for the past few weeks. At Glastonbury festival, they barely said a word to each other," said a source.
The source added, "They want to stay friends so it's best to split now. They've been through a lot together and all their friends are sad they've called time as a couple."
That's it. We no longer believe in love.

Alexa Chung might have been with boyfriend Alex Turner for four years now, but it doesn't seem like she's in a rush down the aisle yet, despite calling him "the love of her life".
Asked by Vogue whether a wedding could be in the near future, Alexa said, "I don't know. I feel like I've had my wedding day so many times, getting all dressed up for all these events."
She added, "That time I dressed up for the Met Ball in New York in Phillip Lim was seriously one of the best nights of my life."
Yes but it's not a wedding is it? Alexa was also asked if she had thought about kids yet, to which she replied, "Hmm, I dunno about that. They're a little boring, aren't they?"

Alexa Chung is in New York right now, and yesterday did a little bit of DJing for the Sony Ericsson's Xpreia PLAY party.
She looked classic Alexa in a tight velvet dress paired with ankle boots and her trusty Chanel bag.

Alexa Chung did a little interview with The Guardian at the weekend and said that boyfriend Alex Turner is the greatest love of her life.
How sweet. They probably expected her to say Barry Manilow or something.
Alexa also revealed that she's scared of the dark, frogs and public speaking, that the most expensive thing she's ever bought was a "Chanel 2.55 handbag at Heathrow airport during a hangover" (look there it is on the left!), and that she trips over "on an almost daily basis. Getting sleeves hooked on door knobs is another classic."
The TV presenter and designer (she's designing her second collection for Madewell) also said that she'd like to be remembered as "someone who inspired women to dress for themselves."
Which strikes us as a little bit odd frankly. Couldn't she think of anything better?

The NME Awards were on last night at Brixton Academy, and OSOYOU was in attendance to check out all the winners and losers, and of course, what everyone was wearing.
There was a surprising lack of female celebrities on the red carpet last night (Fearne Cotton wasn't even there): Alexa Chung was there to present an award (we walked past her in the street outside looking very cheerful and wearing a long black coat) and wore a Christopher Kane 'galaxy theme' Resort 2011 Collection mini dress with Prada platforms.
Marina and the Diamonds was there too, also to present an award and wore the most showstopping dress of the night - a floor length white gown by Hasan Hejazi that made a big impact when she came billowing up to the podium. We also spotted Kate Moss dancing along to Crystal Castles with Jamie Hince (she was wearing a floor length leather dress).

We've all been mega busy this London Fashion Week zipping around all the shows and getting all the best fashion news and celebrity sightings up as quickly as possible.
We spotted Alexa Chung and Nicola Roberts front row at the Topshop Unique show - Alexa looking as cool as usual in a Breton top and trench, and the tiniest bag we've ever seen, and Nicola wearing a brown dress with straight hair.

Alexa Chung loves herself some Chanel - here she is attending their Spring-Summer 2011 Catwalk show at Paris Fashion Week yesterday.
The tv presenter was wearing a cool Chanel Tuxedo dress which I'm sure we'd all like, but won't be getting anytime soon.
