It's not always the dress we notice when watching our favourite celebrities walk down the red carpet, it's the underwear. Or lack of it, most of the time. How do their boobs stay put in some of those dresses?! If you're going to get your celebrity style on, you've got to get your foundations sorted first. You need to get properly measured (and you need to do it regularly) and then a little bit of careful planning and you'll be able to wear gowns as gorgeous as these.

Kate Middleton - Lace back
This is a very daring dress for a royal. Where is her bra strap?! This dress is magical for many reasons, but the lace back (and those gorgeous covered buttons) are divine. They're also tricky. Sadly if you're well endowed, you'll struggle with this style. You absolutely can not go braless. It's out of the question if you're anything over a B-cup but you can buy a bra converter from Debenhams which will lower the back strap - it will work for a halterneck as well, as it clips into the bra you want to wear. They're just £6 and you need one in your underwear drawer.
Diane Kruger - One shoulder
The one shoulder style should be simple. If you have a bra with detachable straps, you can just remove one, right? In theory, yes. You'll also need a little bit of tit tape on the other side - otherwise you'll spend all night fidgeting. Wear your bra with one strap for a little while before going out - otherwise you'll spend all night pulling up an imaginary strap. Oh, and if you're wondering if transparent straps are OK, they're really not.

Dita Von Teese - Plunging
If there's anyone who can pull this look off, it's Dita. It's daring, but it is possible if you've got the right tools in your underwear armoury. Once you've got that right, you'll feel so much more confident about the amount of cleavage you've got on display. It's all about the right support, so invest in a plunging bra. Oh, and you've guessed it: more tip tape, especially if you're wearing a fabric that drapes.

Evan Rachel Wood - White
The common mistake is to wear white lingerie under a white dress. It's a massive no-no. It's nude all the way. The closer to your skin tone the better. Nude lingerie doesn't really look very sexy, but it'll make your outfit shine.
Emma Stone: Racer back
The racer style used to be difficult, but if you don't want to go strapless there's an easy fix. If you're a teenage girl going to a rock club, a safety pin attaching your straps at the back will do the trick. Otherwise a T-back converter will sort your strap issues. They're £3 from Debenhams and we bet Emma Stone has one on under this dress.

Michelle Williams - Strapless
Just like the one shoulder, the strapless dress looks simple but is anything but. If you're wearing the wrong size it will all go wrong. Too big and you'll be hoisting and hoiking all night (and if you're not careful, you're bra will end up around your waist). Too small and you risk the dreaded 'four boob' favoured by Hollyoaks actresses at award shows. Once you've got the right size, you shouldn't even notice a strapless bra.

Charlize Theron is one of Hollywood's most gorgeous and glamourous ladies and she's rocking this Gothic Dior gown at the Snow White and the Huntsman premiere. But she wasn't always the fairest of them all (nope, sorry, while there's a Snow White film in the cinema, the puns are going to keep coming).
Talking to The Sun, she revealed at that she didn't have teeth until she was 11! Awww, Charlize!
'I had these fangs because I had jaundice when I was a kid and I was put on so many antibiotics that my teeth rotted. They had to cut them out. So I never had milk teeth.'
Wowsers, she's certainly got a very fetching smile now, but she doesn't worry about playing the less glam roles in films. 'You know, girls don't wake up with lip gloss on. And I don't ever think about it as ugly versus pretty.'
That girl's got her head screwed on, hasn't she? Wise words indeed, Charlize.

Another Hollywood actress has hit out at the media for being too into their looks, this time it's Jessica Alba. She's been chatting to Marie Claire about how she felt she was 'objectified' because of how she looks, and how she was marketed by the Fox network while she was staring in Dark Angel.
Apparently Alba was portrayed as a 'tough action girl' when her show aired (she was just 19 at the time). Alba told Marie Claire 'Right away, everyone formed a strong opinion about me because of the way I was marketed. I wanted to be chic and elegant!'
Can Alba really start complain? It seemed to suit her at the time when she had all those award nominations coming in. And she was playing a tough action girl!
''I like to get positive attention. But if I have a choice between someone noticing in a negative way what I'm wearing and going, "What was she thinking?" or someone not noticing what I'm wearing, I would rather not make a statement at all.'
Oh Jess, love. The media isn't ever going to work like that. You can't get positive attention just because it's nicer than negative comments.
We happen to think you did a fine mix of chic and tough action girl, so don't complain too much, love.
We're a bit bored of celebs and their perfumes. Everyone's got one and they're not usually very nice. Then there's the whole issue of not wanting to tell people that you're wearing Britney Spears. It sounds a little... fangirlish. Only Beyonce really pulled it off and that was because the advert for Fever it made us blush furiously.
But we like Drew Barrymore. The girl's got style. She's got a bit of sass. She's got phenomenal hair. We'd probably buy her perfume. It would smell of dreams and unicorns.
So she's gone and created her own wine instead.
Barrymore Pinot Grigio is hitting the shelves in the New York next month for $20 a bottle. It's from a grape in the north east of Italy and is said to have 'hints of apricot and lively, citrus flavours' according to the Daily Mail.
We are quite impressed with Drew's curveball. Angie isn't likely to come out with a bottle any time soon (if she did it would be red and probably be called 'Blood' or something ridiculous). But, she's not the first - Olivia Newton John has her own wine as well.
We really quite fancy a glass. If it's rubbish we can always pour it down the sink. If you try a rubbish celeb perfume, you're stuck smelling like Dettol and sweets for the rest of the day.

When it comes to the latest scoop on celeb interviews, no one else could get us quite as excited as New Girl of the moment and OSOYOU style crush, Zooey Deschanel. She's just one of those female celebs that instead of loathing (like so many let's be honest), we're actually finding ourselves loving. We also kind of want to be friends with her. Best friends.
So when these new pics were released of the cute and quirky star alongside a revealing interview for US Marie Claire, we couldn't help but share it with all you OSOblog readers. If you've taken as fondly to the New Girl star as we have, you'll be surprised to hear life hasn't always been so easy going for the loveable Zooey. She revealed to US Marie Claire that she used to be bullied by a girl at school.
"I was ridiculed" she told the magazine. "I really don't know why she spit at me. I just talked to her. I guess I wasn't allowed to talk to her. I remember I couldn't believe it. Certainly you change, and you change perspective, you have other experiences. But isn't it funny - I can still remember when I was treated differently from the way I'm treated now."
When asked about her love life, Zooey says: "Honestly, I'm just going through a divorce, so I don't really think that's something I want to get into now. I don't have time to date. I literally - don't have time
."
The May issue of US Marie Claire starring Zooey on the cover goes on sale on Tuesday, April 17th.

It's been a lovely week for baby news, and now we hear congratulations are in order for
Maggie Gyllenhaal because she's expecting her second child.
Maggie and husband, Peter Sarsgaard confirmed they'll be adding to their gorgeous little family of three earlier today. The couple already have a five-year-old daughter, Romona.
It's thought Maggie is around six-months pregnant after she reportedly told friends she was expecting at a Thanksgiving party last weekend.
Congratulations guys!
The advertising standards people are really cracking down lately - first Dakota Fanning's Oh, Lola ad got banned, and now Hailee Steinfeld's advert for Miu Miu has been pulled too.
In the image, the teen actress sits on a railway line, which is what the Advertising Standards Authority is unhappy with - they say it is "irresponsible".
"Because the ad showed Hailee Steinfeld in a potentially hazardous situation sitting on a railway track, we concluded the ad was irresponsible and in breach of the Code in showing a child in a hazardous or dangerous situation," they said.
Hmm - was it that bad? What do you guys think?

It's quite a well known fact that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is pretty damn beautiful - but as she revealed to Harper's Bazaar, it wasn't always like that.
"I was a bit of an Ugly Betty when I was 15," she told the magazine.
Rosie revealed that she used to arrive at castings "in trainers, with braids, a ton of make-up, plucked eyebrows...I had braces." If only she'd had Tyra's instruction.
The Burberry body also spoke to themn about the transition from modelling to acting, telling them, "It's interesting coming from modelling, where women rule the industry, into one where there are so few great female parts and the competition is so much higher."

I thought it was ridiculous when I heard that Justin Bieber was writing an autobiography at the age of... - what was it, 13? Ridiculous - and now today brings us the rumour that Suri Cruise is writing one too.
She is five.
Apparently Suri had written the book and shown her parents, who thought it was "so good, they plan to publish it when she's finished."
According to sources, the high-heel aficionado will be involved with the words and the pictures!
"Not only is [Suri] writing the book, she's also working on all the illustrations," said the source.
Beyoncé has kept every detail about her 2008 wedding to Jay-Z very, very quiet - but it looks like pregnancy has made her want to be a bit more open because she's just let us have a glimpse of her wedding dress!
Beyoncé showed us the sweetheart-neckline-d gown in the videos for I Was Here on her DVD. Obvs it was in no way understated - looks like Bey went for all out drama with one of the most voluminous trains we think we've ever seen. We like. Do you?
Check out the video after the cut!
